Hi Crazy,

Just picked up some NOW foods 100% essential clove oil, don't know if it's from the buds or not, would that be too strong? Haven't tried it yet, also picked up some Anise oil as well, just wanted to know the ratio of lotion that you're using, you said like 20 drops to some lotion so like a whole bottle of lotion or half or what?
I'm really stuck on the ratios here, because essential oils have to be dealt with so carefully, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey I also read that adding a few drops of orange or lemon oil because of the d lemonene in it works wonders in the laundry and can be used as a spray by diluting with water in a spray bottle on many unwashable items as well, I have both so will try that as well.

heard about the anise oil as well just couldnt find it where i was so probably could use them both. i use like 10 scoops of msm and put water to make it liqued and micro it til the water is clear and let cool a bit and add to prob about 12-14 oz bottle of lotion a bit at a time and stir like mad and add 20 30 drops of clove oil probably starting with 20 to make sure skin can handle it. then stir like crazy and let cool. for some reason at times the msm crystalizes and it wont be smooth....doesnt do this all the time so thot maybe not stirred enuff or cooled enuff....but just makes lumps of msm in lotion is all...ifi have new bump i put clove oil straight on bump...burns a bit. does the anis oil smell badly. might get that next time and do both....says u can add to coconut oil also so might try that also.....desperate things call for desperate measures and trust me i have tried it all....good luck in your battle

I used just the clove oil, for like 3 days straight, on the third day after showering, I got this strange sensation of the creepy crawlies, but then they just stopped, seems like it will work, but then I had to stop altogether because I became very sick from it, I only used like 11 drops of clove to 2 tbs. of almond oil and maybe like a quarter cup of coconut oil, mixed with like 3 tbs. of some oatmeal lotion, I think it was too much clove and not enough lotion or something, was way too overwhelming for me, but I agree, feels positive, I just have to figure out how to tolerate it longer and make the formula easier bear for me. I haven't tried the anise oil yet, just too many smells all at once you know, seems like I'm too sensitive to way too much these days, which is making this harder.

That sucks.. You have to stay away from her some how or some way if she is not treating herself. At least try to get her to see the DOCS about it. You will just have to live with it if you dont.

Crazy Mite Lady: this is how you can tell if she has them. Lay down on her bed when she leaves for work in the morning. Just stay there for 15 minutes. If you feel anything, biting, crawling, then she has them. If, after 20 mintues, you feel nothing, she is good and does not have scabies. Get under her covers and check that way. If you feel the scabies bites, etc., well, then it is time for you and her to sit down and talk about your living situation. Tell her to treat, for you and everyone's health there at the house. If she doesn't want to treat, then have her see what it is like out there on her own, with a baby, too boot. Scabies 3.

We found soem relief from tiger balm, which my husband uses normally for backaches. It seems to suporess swelling, itching and maybe kills mites too. I look at the ingredients and one is Lavang tail, which is clove as used in our ayurvedic medicine. I have been using cloves in a homemade herbal repellent lotion which in combination with repeated doses of ivermenctin and permithin treatment has us itch and burrow free for about nine days now. I was going to pout ground cloves on an infested armchair we have covered in plastic, but I worried it would stain. Last night i tried baking soda after reading about its high pH in another thread. we covered it back up with plastic and let it sit three hours. This chair was very creepy-crawly. i risked my recovery by sitting in it without the plastic later. No creepy crawly feeling. It might be worth adding baking soda to the arsenal.

Namaste'- good luck to you in your efforts....amazing how so many from the world over are experiencing the same (very) annoying problem...thanks for your info..
good to hear the permethrin and ivermectin have helped your symptoms subside ( the baking soda..) Herbal and natural remedies would be the best if they were 100% effective but it probably takes many different remedies to combat this foe...unfortunately...good luck ....( thanks to the internet and this forum for support and ideas!)peace , laughter and cures.....Too Long
