I just bought a bottle of Spregal spray from a pharmacy in Vietnam today. However, I haven't used it. I don't know how powerful it is.

I don't read any French, but for your information, the Fabricant (manufacturer?) seems to be : AEROFARM 468 chemin du littoral 13016 Marseille

The Titulaire et Exploitant (distributer?):
Laboratoires Omega Pharma France. There's a series of code following: BP 80 - 92321 CHATILLON CEDEX FRANCE

omg we need to find something that will work for the majority of us here! I don't really want to be throwing money away trying every single suggestion. Maybe wiser to go back to see the doctor, or at least make that phone call, and see if I can get some more permethrin,…
You can easily make your own 5% permethrin cream for about $1 an ounce. I did a how to video http://youtu.be/tsTybmLtPQQ
I mean, I went to two dermatologists who diagnosed eczema and then I researched it myself and went to a local clinic where I got a prescription from an MD for the cream. It seems these practitioners where hyper-focused on looking at the webs between my fingers in order to diagnose scabies. Well, I had nothing in between my fingers! They didn't seem much concerned that it was all over from my wrists and ankles, up my arms and legs, etc. The three visits wound up costing over $700. Sheesh. And then Wal-Mart charged me $80 for a 2 ounce tube of the 5% permethrin cream. I tried to make that little tube cover my whole body, but I dunno.
Anyway, what a pleasure to mix up 4 ounces of cream for $4. Then I could really spread it everywhere! And I can leave behind all the doctor's fees, too!
I have used my homemade cream myself and it works just as well as the prescription cream, but as always, decide for yourself what to do with your precious body. I'm just sharing what I did for myself. I made a page at my website with a printable pdf of how to make your own, too, http://www.maximpulse.com/permethrin/
Power to the people!(I've always wanted an excuse to say that)

By the way, I would never buy any prescription medications from these on-line companies. Too many outright crooks and liars. Either make your own or get a prescription.

Before using SPREGAL SPRAY, I've used Eurax. Eurax was helpful in reducing the itchiness. However after 5 days of treatment, the scabies was not going away.

Therefore I looked for alternative medication and came across this Spregal spray. I applied it after bath and let it stay on the body for 12 hours. However, I found that instead of getting rid of the scabies, it became even more active. There were significantly more rashes on different part of my body the following day. This did not happen when I used Eurax.

Now I'll try with Malathion liquid my friend got for me and hopes that it works.

Have you tried Kleen Green naturally I found it worked over 6 weeks it is made from naturally products and it will carry on working if you use regularly so you don't get scabies back from others who may still be passing it back to you .just bath in it and wash your clothes body and clean your home every day. it really works if you use it for a while to be sure your safe. great for pets and children even babies.NO Chemicals or pesticides and a very easy way to lie in the bath each day. I got my life back thank goodness. I don't live in fear of these things anymore.

I've had mites since early March 2013, it seems to me that there were a few things, so far that I know of menthol, vicks vaporub and camphor that seem to activate the mites, who knows maybe they start mating/laying eggs whatever, and so there activity increases...which could be why Fred says he read somewhere that said we shouldn't apply these products on our skin...anyway I read something else from a guy on here yesterday that said vicks vaporub activates the mites (brings to surface), then you jump in a bath of borax to kill them...which could be a similar case for spregel...maybe they are being activated, running to surface and then they will die off...? hmmm Good luck with the Mala, let me know if you have success.

What a liar. You never even used Eurax. Where did you get it?
Where did you get the Spregal Spray, too? Malathion? What corner store are you purchasing all this from? Does your doctor just give you prescriptions left and right? Going down to mexico? If you are purchasing from mexico, they treat scabies with IVERMECTIN AND PERMETHRIN CREAM. Liar....

Here is where you get Spregal. I ordered it and got it from France to CA in about 10 days. Mon coin Sante pharmacy. It comes with instructions. You can translate on computer. www.moncoinsante.com -contact@moncoinsante.comThe pharmacist is Marie Louvegnies.

I used it yesterday when I got it and as stated, the itching stopped completely. I reapplied it last night to entire body. I awakened about 12:30 am and was itching on my worst spots. Took the bottle and just spot treated and awakened this AM to very little itching. I don't know if it because I have such dry skin now on my arms from all of the crap I have tried before or maybe it is just irritated. NO NEW BITES though just itching. It says you will probably itch for about 8 more days. Maybe it reacts with the debris? Good luck. I will keep you posted.

Forgot to mention I bought 2 bottles and with post it came to I think about $72 dollars and some change. I bought 2 bottles. The post was almost as much as a can of Spregal.

I have showered now and this is what I see. I see raised white areas (spots) which I can only think might be burrows . My skin is pretty trashed in the areas (like a burn) so maybe that is why they are showing up as white? I wonder if the damage I have done along the way from other chemicals makes the Spregal less effective? I have another can so I will retreat in a week. I have used some steroid cream and the itching is stopping now. I had a little cluster of bites show up yesterday before the Spregal when I used Lime Sulfur dip to spot treat. The Spregal made a few more appear now that I am looking. My best suggestion is to not be discouraged with the Spregal. It probably worked. I just had a pretty sizable infestation on my forearms. They seem to be contained to that area probably because my skin is naturally very dry there.

HI,
I was suffering from scabies for 1 year. Tried many different treatments (sulfur soap, multiple permethrin treatments, ivermectin, tar oil, cypermethrin 2% aqueous solution spray on my body (helped)) nothing worked permanently.
I then heard about SPREGAL Scabicide aerosol spray. It is made in France and they use it there as a first line treatment for scabies. As soon as I applied it all over my body, I felt relief in 10 minutes, no more itching. In a few days my skin started to regenerate and I could see it was beginning to look normal. One week later I sprayed it again on my body and thankfully its been 4 months already and no signs of scabies, those mites were totally annhiliated!
I also sterilized my environment, cleaned everything really well with a scabicide (very important, plain old disinfectant won't work). I used Cypermethrin 2% water solution in a spray bottle to decontaminate all surfaces in my house (tables, desks, chairs, shoes, chairs, floors, carpeting, door knobs, sinks, also all surfaces in my car). I also soaked all of my clothes in the 2% solution for 15 minutes. It worked!
Thanks a lot for the information. The Spregal spray did work (fortunately in France) bought online here but can is pressurized; and I agree that a second spray a week later seems to knock it out completely. It is worth paying out for but you must ensure that you are thorough and don't expose yourself to mites after treatment. Bag up anything you suspect may be contaminated in large plastic sacks for 3 days at least. Wash sheets at 60 degrees. I sealed my mattress with plastic sheeting for two weeks. The mites can't live very long (3 days?) without human skin contact.
I am no lover of chemicals but I think this stuff WORKS. Get to grips with it quickly so you don't infect others. I think I caught it in a junk yard/antiques markets for junkies rehabilitation. Most unpleasant and distressing experience.
