We are all just trying to find a cure for ourselves. Slo - You have posted wisely. If you are cured please post your specific regimen of cure under the I am cured thread. Maybe if you have time even state what you had tried that did not work. Then we can all go away and live our happy lives again - that is the goal.

there is no way lysol kills or elimates mites. if pa bomb doesn't kill them then...........HELLO. lysol give me a break, the way parasites are unburnable and live through clorox and sulfur, flea shampoo. don't give people false info to sell your product.

Gimme a break.. I am not selling anything. If you read the posts that should be obvious to you.

I would not bother replying but it is so rare to see a post that is both ignorant and malicious.

I want to know of a cocktail of chemicals I can bath in that will kill every damn one of these devil-bugs in one shot. I'm tired of scrubbing myself twice a day with flea&tick shampoo with no relief, been doing this for days and the cooties are only getting worse. I don't care how toxic the formula is. I will try anything. Any ideas?

I have just rented a room somewhere since I can't find a home for the cats. I bathe twice a day. I use different things. Tea tree, eucalyptus oil Epsom salts. It all works great. Till I sit down on a chair the cats been sitting on. So I'm just moving out.

Don't really know what to use or do at this point its been a few months of hell. Any ideas for treatment?? My brother who got them first has been attacked viciously by the scabies on his hands and genitals. They're regular scabies. We're saving for ivermectin for the whole family but until then any ideas?

Lysol does work, but also found that 50/50 vinegar/water with little borax works good.. i think better..

on our floors i used hot water in sink with about 1/4 cup borax and some bleach, about 1/4 cup.. i mopped pretty frequently. on beds, u can sprinkle arm hammer powder det equally mixed with borax (though avoid this mix on skin, it burned me n e ways) and leave, between box springs and mattress, and get mattress protector, every morning after i washed bedding good i stuck in freezer until we were going to bed (outside when really cold), wore disposable gloves to prevent cross contamination.. when doing laundry first few days i would wear gloves, and straight from dryer put in clean garbage bags and sprayed bags with Lysol good. for spray around house i used vinegar mix above, i sprayed it good in all our vents, in and around central air unit inside, furniture, beds, curtains, everything! lol, my house smelled like a pickle for about a week, but it worked! got any pets? our dog was given good bath in lots of dawn and salt, Epsom and table mix, and sprayed with vinegar/water mix (no borax) before and after going out.. we also stopped letting him just run after he brought bunch back in from i guess playing w dogs and neighbors petting.. the permethrin from dr didn't work for any of us here.. this has really been craziest thing i have ever seen! we took bath with about 2 cups Epsom salt and half cup table salt and lots of dawn, head to toe, and we literally seen all these come out, so gross! eggs too! they come to a head like a zit, but was smushy.. those 3 patches the drs said was eczema on baby was eggs! we got some under microscope at health dept here to id these by coating body in olive oil thick, it pulled them to the surface of our skin, some were big enough to see they were black and red! spray ur car, work area, and everyone in house do baths in whatever u find that works for u.. i also did spray bottle with about 1 part bleach to 10 parts water and sprayed body after rinsing good. putting lotion on right after doing that burned for me, but waiting a little bit i was fine. good aloe vera lotion. we sprayed every inch of our house w vinegar mix.. be sure to bag and spray all shoes.. we would of gotten rid of these sooner if i had made connection of how easy they come back into the house! it took us 3 wks to get them out, then realized how much they have spread around us, and our battle is keeping them out at the moment.. i know i have repeated myself, but i do want others to find relief from these! everything we used come from Walmart, and we literally limited our outside exposure drastically.. we are going to all start eating couple handfuls of black walnuts everyday and see if that really helps keep them off of us.. will continue posting updates.. watch out for spammers, and be careful using toxins on ur self and around u, long term effects may be worse.. update me on how a 24 hr antihistamine works for u as well please..

Hi, Thanks so very much 4 telling me about the Dawn & about putting Borax on the carpets I've been.putting Dawn dish soap on my DRY hair, 5 min. before my shower, getinto shower, lather up, shampoo & reshampooing in the shower with Head and Shoulder menthol (refersh) for men & air dry has gotten rid of these in my hair completely.I still feel a few slight itches here & there on my head, but as soon as I do I take my bottle on Hand sanitizer (which is 62% alcohol) & squirt the itchy on my head. That stops the itchy immediately.I have long hair, so I wear my hair up in a ponytail so it's easy to squirt on the hand sanitizer on any itchy. For about 7 days I shampooed my hair every 12 hrs this way.4 the last 2 days I've been shanpooing just 1x every 24 hrs. Also I've had no new bites on my head in about 5 days.I've also washed my body the same way. I put Dawn dish soap on my dry body 5 min before getting into the shower and then use a bath brush all over, rinse off, then scrub my hair with my fingertips & rinse then shampoo my hair and my body again, but this time with Head and Shoulders.Rinse well & dry with paper towels (I learned that tip on another post). It only takes me about 1/3 of a roll to damp dry my hair & damp dry me) As soon as I get out, I apply Swan hand sanitizer (fast drying...65% alcohol). Then I for 7 days I coated my body in olive oil.At that point I had a small piece of paper towel that I'd rolled in to a point and really wet that with 91% isopropyl alcohol & as those things came out,(they felt like itchies, I didn't see anything), so I'd dab at each itchy with the 91% alcohol on my paper towel.Once the iteches stopped (which was quicker each day) I then put on a layer of Alveno on my body, get dressed & I was good to go for several hrs without any even mild itches!I wear easy to wash in the shower with me, crocks like shoes I got on eBay for $9.00. In regard to using Vinegar, people need to be care with that, because if you have sensitive skin, like I do, you can easily burn your skin with straight vinegar. I did that in the very beginning on my feet. Luickly a lady at the drugstore who was healing up from Chemo burns from her cancer treatment, told me 2 cut off an Aloe Vera Leaf & rub the gooey stuff on my bites and burns & sure enough it worked. I had to rub longer on the old bites & about 3" all around the bites for about 20 min, but if I got to a new bite right away, it immediately took away the itchy & the itchy never came back.( I too know I'm repeating what I've posted, but I wanted 2 be sure others know what I did that worked since some many people are suffering.).I've been using 20 mule team borax on the carpet & has really worked well.As for spraying my bags with Lysol. I don't do that. I use a new bag for everything and throw away the old bags, but I put all the old bags inside of 1 new bag, tie the new bag closed and only open it to put in a newly used bag, retie it agack up & then I wait 5 days before throwing it in the trash. That way I think if there were any in the bags, they would be all dead. I buy 200 big garbage bags at Costco,.9 mil thick, for $20., Kirkland brand. That's so cheap that I can use a new bag each time I need to bag anything.Walmart has not had any bags that were comparable in quantity, size, & thickness for anywhere near that price.Do you know what Microscope works well 2 see these? Also,I buy a big bottle of Benadry like formula antihistamines that work really well 4 about $8.00 @ Costco.

Janadel- did you ever get cured? I know this was a year ago .. I was infected back in 2012 for almost a year & now I have the dreaded things again. I'm literally in shock. The only positive is that I caught it quick. The negative is that I have no idea what cured me last time because I tried everything & it just randomly went away. I guess I'm just curious mostly about the cleaning process of laundry. Last time I boiled my clothing & I really can't do that this time. What worked for you?
