Sam what is TTO please tell me. Tea tree oil?? Can I not use it on the dog's since these thing's stays on the surface of their hair?
. Give your dog FOOD GRADE D.E. & rub on hair. When feeding mix with a lot of water and put on food. Rub on hair. Don't breathe. Non toxic, that's why the vet will never tell you about it....

Just wanted to say that TTO works for me.. Noticed bumps on my arm and freaked out, started bagging whatever I could and put TTO undiluted on the bumps, right away the itching went away. My GF told me that I should dilute the potent TTO so every morning and night I'd dilute with a few drops of olive oil and a few drops of TTO and put it on the bumps with a qtip. I also bathed in really hot water with about 20-30 drops of TTO, cleaned, washed, vacuumed everything. Also used TTO and water mixture in a spray bottle to spray everything down and within a few days the scabies were disappearing. I believe I am having post scabies symptoms right now and will continue treating everything until I am certain is gone. I haven't slept in my own bed for awhile. But TTO does work! I bought the pure one off amazon

Reading the last four messages on this thread and it is obvious that the people who sell tea tree oil and DE are on this forum spamming.
One cure for resistant scabies is ivermectin.
Research it. It takes time but it WORKS.
Good luck.

There are so many different brands for TTO so I'm sure if anyone was trying to "spam", the brand name would be stated. Sounds more like you are spamming. My story is real and I really do recommend TTO for anyone with scabies, although everyone's body reacts differently, my gf and I have beat this thing naturally. I never want to go this again.

Doctors are dumb when it comes to this plague. I am sure the doc thought I caught this from a hooker, many believe it is an STD because it also gets passed in that way.

Remember you are not me, so some treatments that work for me may give you pain, or even death. A good tip is to have someone be ready to take you to the hospital if you have a reaction.

I am treating this with a six sigma approach, and I believe the solution is to find the right cocktail of ingredients, plus completely eliminating their presence in the environment.

1) Blow-up inflatable bed, plastic (toss your bed!) spray it with permetherin daily, hose it off every 2 days
2) Bedding gets baked at 250F in the oven for 20 minutes Ė daily. I lined the bottom tray of my oven with alunimum foil, and be sure nothing touches the element or sides. Things get hot, all the way through, even stacks of clothing. This is a great thing, and is hotter than the dryer.
3) Vacuum and throw away the bag every 2 days (spray vacuum with permetherin after use)
4) Cover lazy boy chair with sheet, bake the sheet every day at 250F, spray chair with permetherin
5) Bake dirty clothes before hamper and shoes at 250F daily 20 minutes. Kill everything BEFORE the clothes washer and dryer! Better for your septic tank (no pesticides down the drain). Donítí let mites fester in a clothes hamper and spray it with permetherin! Donít get involved with special detergents! Just turn on your oven and bake!
6) Development a treatment regimen
1) Topical - leave this stuff on, don't shower!
a) All over body, permetherin, benzyl benzoate (careful! Sensitive areas will burn and irritate around face groin, bottom, armpits, neck!), frontline plus, pool clorine baths (I bought a snorkel and swimming goggles so I could soak in the CL water, I am considering getting a large kiddy pool in my living room and I may mix in permetherin as well, cover it with a tarp and use it daily), ivermectin
b) Spot treatments Perm, Benz, frontline plus, Cl baths, itchthammol, ivermectin
2) Internal treatments
a) Oral ivermectin 2ml mix with grapefruit juice(see body weight chart)
*b) Enema ivermectin 1ml (or 2ml with no oral dosage - 1ml to compensate for kidney losses from oral)

*I have been taking oral ivermectin with grapefruit juice (supposed to help pass the liver). Problem is, the liver filters out the medicine. If you are taking 2ml for 220 lbs, your liver is extracting an unknown amount. The oral ivermectin never deliver a full dosage into the blood stream and into the skin.

SO should I inject, NO! I mean I don't know how to inject myself! Eventually I may learn, that is my nuclear option!

I started taking ivermectin enemas. This is a method used for transplant patients (i.e. heart and organ transplant) because they frequently get parasitic infections due to anti-rejection drugs. Via enema the drug is absorbed into the system directly, no pesky kidney filtering. I mix about 1/4 filtered water with a dose for my weight (2ml) and using a well rinsed small plastic bottle with Vaseline on the topper, in it goes the bum with a squeeze. I then do a yoga pose elevating my derriere above my torso and resisting the urge to go to the bathroom. In about 2-3 minutes the liquid assimilates. A side effect, for me, is I get hungrier and eat more. I am also taking pro-biotics because I may be displacing digestive organisms.

7) House
1) Treatments
a) Foggers (initially and maybe as a regimen)
b) Sulfur candles i.e. Sulfur Dioxide gas every 2 days.(I had to make these, I use soy wax because itís easy, beeswax takes higher temperatures. Look for directions on the web. One tip, soy wax is light, so mix the wax several times in the wax candle jar while itís in the freezer or the sulfur will settle. Soy wax is easy to clean up after and I made 3-16oz candles in under an hour)

8) Car
1) Permetherin spray, hand sprayer
2) Sulfur candles daily

Good luck

I hope that treatment is going well for you, you'll beat it. It takes some patience for sure. Make sure you treat your house also.

Only when I consistently use tea tree oil with almond oil (as tea tree oil is harsh) my itching stops. I had scabies two months back. How long are these post symptoms going to stay? My skin, is generally healthy, but not its so sensitive.

when my daughter (2 years old at the time) started day care, about a year ago, she got this horribly itchy rash. it started on her butt and spread to her arms and feet and hands, then to me. then to my boyfriend and my father, all of us living in the same house. i was taking my daughter and myself to the doctor from the get-go and was being told that i might have bed bugs or fleas. we searched the house for bedbugs and treated anyways, and we couldn't find a flea. 4 doctor visits and 6 months later, we all 3 visit the emergency room for a completely unrelated reason, and the ER doctor say's "your daughter is fine, but you all have scabies". i couldn't believe it. we treated immediately with the permetherin, then retreated 3 times. i told her school about it and they seemed to take it seriously and say they would spray the classroom. although she goes to a school where she rides the bus and children are changed from classroom to classroom all the time. i never heard anything else about it from them, but they all assured me it was like lice and none of the other kids had it. and i just think back to the 6 months that we had it and nobody could tell us what was going on. we seemed to have rid ourselves of the infestation and remained symptom free for 6 months. then ........ this summer, a scabie bump shows up on my daughter's butt again. i take her straight to the doctor and am told that basically ..... i'm crazy. she said that scabies is an infestation and is spread through the hands and that she had a flea bite or a diaper rash and she would not give us treatment. 2 weeks later it had spread and was on her hands and me. so we go back to the doctor and get it confirmed and get the permetherin again. i tell her school. and they ask for a doctor's note to return to school and said they would clean the room. we treat and retreat and are symptom free for about 2 weeks, when my daughter gets a new bump on her butt. I take her back to the doctor that night and the doctor again ...... tells me that i am crazy, that they will not treat us because it's just one little bump, could be heat rash ........ i am in tears at this point because i hate the thought of little spider mites crawling on my baby and i literally just cried in the doctors office. she told me to keep my daughter in school and get some rest. i went home and read about tea tree oil and bought some that night. at first i put it directly on the bumps 100%, bad idea, but it stopped the itching ...... so i mixed about 1/3 of a 2oz bottle into our body wash and used it twice a day and turned the water heater all the way up and started washing all of our laundry and bed sheets on HOT every night. soon, nobody in the house had any symptoms what so ever, but every week, my daughter. would come home with little bumps on her butt, and hands. it started driving me crazy, thinking of infecting other people. and realizing that it was most likely coming from the daycare. so i pulled her out of that daycare at great expense to me, and treated both of us in permetherin and continue to use the tea tree oil infused body wash. so far, no symptoms, so i am going to say that tea tree oil works, but it may be an uphill battle without something you can leave on overnight to kill all of them.

Tea tree oil has a really strong smell and might cause breathing problems for your dogs. What happens if you take them outside and brush them really well? Do the white dots go away, then reappear later on their fur? Is there some sort of repellant you could put on their fur that won't harm them, but repel whatever kind of mite you have from getting on them? Like a bit of baby oil? They don't scratch anymore or have hair loss or anything? Did you try to scope a white dot from the dog?

Tea tree oil and vodka 50/50 mix.
Put in a spray bottle and spray it all over.
You can leave on or shower off after 20 minutes or so.
This works fast. Be careful of open wounds it will burn.
If you are sensitive from over treating try a shower with sulfur 8 shampoo. It will stop the itching , calm down your sensitivety and take out a few pests as well. Good luck.

How long do you use the spray? Did this cute you or just give relief of symptoms? Sounds promising.

Cured!! Borax baths for itch. Neem oil and tea tree oil to reduce and kill mites. I would slather my whole body in neem oil after a borax bath then immediatly slather tea tree oil all over my body. Imortant to not just spot treat because the mites will move and borrow in an untreated area. Imortant to wash all clothes and bedding daily. And vacuum at least once a day. Dont rewear any clothing. After all of this trouble i am finally cured. I could see dead mites on me after just a few mins after applying oil combo. You can get neem oil and tea tree oil ( 100%) at asian markets or online. Tea tree oil you can get at walgreens or walmart also. I hope this helps.

I'm going to post this one time and one time only WILL not reply to any responses. As God as my witness this worked after 7 months of pure and absolute hell of dealing with scabies. I appreciate this board because I tried most of the things that people had recommended with no results. I used toxic chemicals such as Permithrin, Lindane and Bensyl Benzoate. I'm sure I had "crusted (Norwegian) scabies. They would work but only for short periods of times. Scabies build resistance to Permithrin and has been proved. It's worthless sh_t. I had a dermatologist tell me I had "contact dermitis" and as many times as I saw him, he did nothing to find the truth for two months. I knew he was wrong but did all of the silly sh_t he told me to do until I used Lindane and they started to disappear. Lindane was the last train for me because of it's toxicity. You can NOT get Lindane lotion and they only make it in shampoo form but it worked for a longer period of time. I had this gooey, sticky stuff (and toxic) on my body for about 8 hours. After two weeks of being clear they came back. I started doing 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide and finally after seven months of being sick and crazy with these evil creatures that invade the human body are gone, my skin is clearing up after 5 days of treatment and they are gone. Doctors and pharmaceutical DON'T want us to know about H2O2 therapy because it's cheap and WILL put them out of business.
