Do the red bumps ever go away, in Post Scabies at this time and I am not sure what they do? Is this an active nest that has not hatched. It has been treated so many time. No other activity at this time?

Re treat if you want. I should think that this goes away. Here was my test to see if there are active mites. Do some exercise on a treadmill, around 20 minutes, get your heart rate really going. It scares the hell out of the mites.

See if you get bites, if you do, re treat. If not, and just itching, up to you.

Essy from Bulgaria is in Post Scabies right now. Just to let you know about an earlier poster. So that makes it around 10 at least cured by Imidacloprid where nothing else on this SC forum cured them.

She wrote me via email.

In phase 2 of treatment, tonight is 3rd night after a 4 day break.

I have apparently had some version of this for quite some time. Conservatively, several years. Longer, who knows.

During my break after treating for 16 days, several "little" skin problems I've had for years healed. First, I thought it was the sweet almond oil. Next, that ivomec was somehow acting as an antibiotic. Then several freckles revealed tiny black specks (just a few) as well as several areas of dry skin. The ketosis pilaris I had in a few areas of my arms is clearing. A small bump on my neck began responding to the advantix by revealing previously unseen red track marks deep beneath the skin.

Not sure where to go from here or how long to treat. I've researched obsessively, and cant logically explain why these things healed. I've been on antibiotics before without effect; I've not felt painful bites except five months ago.

I've been using the injectable ivomec with success. I researched ivermectinn and the med can break down when exposed to heat or water. This I think explains why meds overseas or horse paste chased with water isn't very effective for some people. Rk's post on how harsh ivomec is was timed well, as I'd been getting stomach pains. I now measure out the dose (1.3ml) and inject it into a tablespoon of olive oil. It tastes better, isn't as harsh on the stomach, and helps your body absorb it.

also, burt's bees makes a clove oil chapstick that has helped my lips heal from peeling.

This treatment revealed burrows and apecks in my outer ear, around my mouth, on the tips, nostrils of my nose. Note that I don't think they live in those places, but go there for survival since many treatments hyperstimulate yhem before death.

I'm not sure how to proceed to make sure they're all dead. Seriously considering another 10 days on- today is the first day my normally sensitive skin remotely stung from advantix, so they must have gone pretty deep.

I ordered the MMS and DMSO and plan to try it once I get it in the mail. I will keep everyone posted on that treatment when I start it. I think I have crusted scabies now which I have managed to isolate on my legs below the knee by wearing thin plastic bags on my legs and tying them at the knee. That way I dont infect my clothes and bedding. I use to have it on other parts of my body and managed to rid myself everywhere else on my body. Just yesterday felt a prick on my ear and it has moved to the side of my eye as well. My legs look horrible, an never have looked so bad.I was using a permethrin cream which has always worked before, but not this time. It was almost like they were feeding on it! My legs are swollen too, One leg is worse than the other. I was scabies free for 4 months and all of the sudden one red spot and it grew into this!! I ordered some K9 Advantix with a plan to start that as well with some Ivermectrin. I am at my wits end with this! Right now I have some grapeseed oil, Coconut oil, sulfur powder, clove oil and neem oil as well as some DE all mixed up and on my legs now. They need to heal. I smell like cloves,,,,,,,,,,

Paranoid,

If I were you I would skip the Ivomec until after you permanently stop treatment. You don't really need it if you are treating with Advantix or Adv II.

This crap tears up your stomach lining and back parts if you know what I mean ( okay duodenum is better).

From what you are describing to us, real fresh black things, bites etc., it sould like you might go for 10 more days or so, I mean 10 days solid and see if it all ends then, the on, off, on, off.

Okay, that's a good point. Ill try that. Ivomec helps with the crawling, but long term I don't want to mess up my stomach.

Awoke this morning to find several areas where derms told me I had tiny stretch marks (my weight has never fluctuated by more than 10 lbs and I've never had kids) turning pinkish and shrinking. Some lines around my cuticles I thought were dry skin/ wrinkles are shriveling and healing. Feeling brief electric zaps, so know advantix is still working. In retrospect, do not think mattress etc were reinfecting me but that I had them deep below the skin. My back broke out all over but is now slowly healing. Does not itch, but some areas where I'm healing look like bruises.

Realize how insane this sounds. Perhaps there's a more reasonable explanation, I have no idea.

No offense taken but i do think you are right. I have been asking some many questions over and over and i never even share my story with all of you. My apologise to everyone, so okay there i go. I believe i caught scabies at the age of 18 years old when i first came out as an homosexual. I am now 22 years old which means i have been dealing with this issue for about 4 years or maybe a litle bit less. Me and my ex-partner caught scabies together but we had no clue from where. At first it started with a little rash and i thought it was a normal itch. It became more intense day by day. We used 1000 permethrin treatment and lindane aswell, my ex got rid of scabies but i never did. By myself i did a bunch of other treatement which were bleach bath, dermisil ( which is very expensive and CRAP!!), bed bug spray on my bed, clean the house in full, sulfur 10% soap bar and bleaching everything, pouring some bleach on my body 2/10 bleach and 8/10 water after showering with sulfur soap. I am still positive about this situation and i will be trying ivomec in the next few days. I will be posting my full treatement every now and then hoping that i will get cure and that i can maybe show hope to people that think that they can't get rid of it. I was at a point that i thought i would have it all my life but now seeing that some of you did get rid of it, i am very optimistic.

Thank you for sharing all of your stories and let's beat the crap out of these annoying mites. I realy hope they burn in hell it literally screw me over.I do not wish this to anyone not even my worst enemy.

Amir,

Why not try Advantix II? If you have read,it is more than mildly effective. You may not get any effect from ivomect. Just use the advantix, you live in Montreal, drive to New York,Buffalo for example and buy 3 weeks worth.

They ship to Canada don't they?

GMB 1306, the post scabies syndrome, or post nodular scabies is what you are probably experiencing. After I was totally bite free and no more anything for months, I still had horrible red/brown nodules, scar looking things everywhere comming to surface of skin. It takes months to years for our bodies to rid itself of the junk the mites leave in us. YUK! Google post nodular scabies syndrome and know that as long as you get no new bites,......YOU ARE FREE!!! ;)
You just have to wait out the healing process now. ;)

OH, I think there are some threads on here about post nodular scabies if you can find them. If I had not googled it, I would have never figured out what was going on! Check the threads here too.

RK, let them try the ivermectin FIRST. Many people on this forum do not need Imidacloprid/permethrin/Advant ix. They should try the ivermectin first, and if after 4 doses at 7 days apart, they are not cured, then try the advantix. The dosage of permethrin in the Advantix is extremely high and highly toxic. Most people on this forum were cured by the horse paste ivermectin and/or stromectol human grade ivermectin and/or the ivomec, in combination with a good topical. Cleaning your environment is essential. If, after all of this, you are not cured, then consider reinfestation from pets or from your work environment Or you do not have human scabies. Your age and immunity play a huge role in how fast your cures comes. There is no need to travel to the United States to obtain your meds. Do you search on the net FIRST.

This thread is about imidacloprid. The last time I checked, posting on an internet forum wasn't forcing anyone to do anything. I'm not sure who "them" are, but rk, maudlin, angel, catz etc have been nothing but intelligent and courteous. The research was listed throughout the thread, imidaclopris was used on schoolchildren. This treatment works, people make their own decisions, and obviously all of us tried standard methods before this (because this treatment method is really expensive). But it works, and we try to be supportive.
If you feel imidacloprid is "toxic", please start your own thread.
This thread is about the imidacloprid treatment method, and so far its been positive. Let's keep it that way, please.

Hi, I have started applying Advantix today. I can see blister trails of them trying to escape. I have Norwegian scabies with darkened areas on my skin. There are scabs and blisters as well with incredible itching. I have had scabies for over 4 yrs and have cured myself off and on. I thought I was completely cured and then I saw a deep red pit covered with skin. About 4 of them. Then all hell broke loose and I have areas infected with scabies that are as large as a pie plate! I couldn't help myself from itching, but I did it with plastic gloves. It really spread them around.
Anyway, I was wondering how many days between treatments and if you wash yourself at all.

Me too,

Read from page 8 of this thread on treatment. It has been repeated many many many many times.

Old Me Too ( it's alright M--but maybe it's time to try the advantix yourself--you have got to let this entire post be what it is. Stop changing
the city, state, country of origin. Stop the different personalities and then harrassing others to make them leave the forum. Just list your
Florida. But maybe it is time for you to lose this
disease yourself. If you have never tried Advantix,
it might be time, you'll have to get rid of the pets first. There is something called dependency or co dependency, it's not based not only on drugs, people, whatnot. One can be psychologically addicted to anything and any condition. Time to try advantix yourself and finally lose this but I have a feeling you won't because you are so accustomed to this site, this circle of friends, whatever.
