Hi all...
I read up on the forum here, about what to do about scabies. As I have a case of them myself. I decided to go with the stromectol (Ivermectin for humans)at a dose of 1 mg per 10 lbs of body weight. And I noticed a big difference right away! I used diatamaceous earth on my floors. Along with bed linen/clothing cleaning, bathing in tea tree oil/neem oil...anything I could think of to get rid of the bugs from hell!! I took a second dose 4 days later, as I figured any eggs that were still not hatched would most likely be on the loose by then. I ran into a link/post that talked about colloidal silver, that said they were rid of scabies in 3 days! And since I had some Silver Sinus in my medicine cabinet that also is colloidal silver...I decided to try it. I couldn't beleive my eyes that in the spot I used it on...the scabis bump was gone! I would say, I put it on the spot 2 to 3 times within a 5 hour time frame...and the bugger was gone!!! Needless to say, I was spraying my spots in the blink of an eye!! As of evening time the same day (today) most of the scabies/sores are cleared up!! I would say, that the combination of Ivermectin and good hygiene/cleaning the environment, etc...and the colloidal silver is the way to go! I can't say enough about what a miracle colloidal silver is!!! Try it...it will be your miracle too! Anyone have any questions...just post here, I'll try to answer when I can!! Good luck to all with the nightmare of scabies!! Bye now...

hello I have been struggling to get rid of scabies for 2 months now. The permethrin cream prescribed by the doc. did not work at all. do u think just applying colloidal silver will work?

Sandi--I have also been using that colloidal silver.. and you cannot find much on the internet as a treatment for scabies, or bird mites... I did try four doses of ivermectin, and the first night I used it, there were all these tiny grains all over my bedding, the next morning.. almost as if I had spilled some popcorn salt in there! However.. I did notice, that before I went to bed, and put on the colloidal silver on the spots, that they did seem to be way less angry and allergic producing, in the next morning... and it helped with the open sores, to dry them up.. along with believe it or not, Gold Bond medicated powder (the zinc in it, is very calming to the skin. Again, since they did not die, and my immune system was seriously collapsed.. I had to try something else... this is what is working for me, since they were now in my internal system.. up my nose, in my gums, and in my ears! I did more reading and while I was waiting for the ones Bang. suggested.. I tried some tumeric and neem powder in capsules.. the first three days, they got more inflamed and angry, but my inner voice told me to keep this up... and I stayed with the extra inflamation, and pain... I could really feel them wiggling at night, like they were getting really upset, and packing up! So, after three days, I doubled the dosage, and then I began to see some real results with this experiment! suddenly, they were not only inflamed, they were all up to the surface of the spots, and were really easy to see, both with the eggs, and with the black or red mites, now almost on top, instead of seriously embedded into my skin, over 1/4 inch deep, in some places! So, I know this sounds gross, but if I ran my hands over my skin, I could feel where the eggs were, then, I removed them, once I did that, the mite was easy to see, so I took a pair of really fine tweezers.. sure enough, it was dead ... and the eggs were starting to come out-instead of plump, they seemed to be drying up, or dead.. so I am healing in the reverse order of where they began on my skin... still cleaning my home with Kleen Green, treating my dog with it, doing the colloidal silver gel on the spots at night, some Naturasil sulfer, the sulfer soaps, after a borax, epsom salts, and hydogen peroxide baths.. and sterile sheets, every day, and with either diatomaceous earth on my carpet, or if I vacume it off, I put borax on it... both kill mites... the pesticide treatment guy told me to move out of my house, cut off all my hair, and board the dog after flea dipping him ! then he told me to tent my house, or spray every room with toxins that I am allergic to.. for around $150 per room ! Oh yeah, the tenting of the home, for bird mites, which are way more tenacious, costs $3,000!!! So, if you can figure out how to avoid putting toxins either on you, or into your home... then, it is a far better way to heal... I am so happy that the silver worked for you! Are you taking any internally, as well ? I was wondering about that . Oh yeah, there are also cleansing kits you can purchase at the health food store, to get them out of your internal system. The Tumeric and Neem powder is really doing a nice job with mine.. I will keep you guys posted.. they definitely are leaving my skin by the droves ! Today, I will add wormwood..that is also a parasite cleanse if you are allergic to black walnut green hulls, in a combined tincture. Working from the inside out, takes longer, but it seems to kick them out of your system. Ground up cloves is also a natural pesticide.
