Scratch,

What do you think about what this person is saying about black dots?

This is from Mel's old post.

"Mites feed around the hair follicle and the theory is the black dots are the dead hair follicle surfacing. I subscribe to this theory because at the height of my infestation my body became hairless. This theory was proposed to me by a very prominent veterinary dermatologist in our area. It makes total sense.
The dots can continue to rise, even though the mites are gone. They surface particularly when the skin is heavily moisturized.
I would not retreat. Watch and see if any rash type irritation occurs on the child and then check with your doctor. In the meantime, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Aquaphor is very good, you want something that will smother while restoring the skin. Baby oil is good also.
Doctors are dot blind so asking them is like whistling in a howling hurricane."

Yes, I read that. I'm still baffled by this. That makes sense, because the hair in my most affected area is now starting to grow back. The turpentine will pull these black dots out. You know I've been all over it with the microscope. I HAve to figure out a way to photograph these slides. I don't even know how to prepare or preserve one.

For me, there are two different kinds. The kind that you can clearly see and appear to be blackheads. I thought they were ingrown hairs at first. They were actually my first symptom. I'd squeeze them out and go on about my business. Then there are the ones that the Aquaphor and Turp are pulling out. Some of them are more like black specks. The bigger ones are probably hair follicles....but the tiny, tiny ones are DEFINITELY mite debris, poop and eggs....oh and the larvae I can see is completely disgusting. I have yet to get anyting out that appears to be alive. Although I suck at getting the scope to focus in at 300x and 600x.

What my daughter has is greyish brown and on top of the skin like a scab. Almost like body lice, but it isn't. I've looked at those and have seen what I think are some eggs, but I'm not sure. She ever breaks out completely. Just a few here and there, of course I"ve had the whole family on weekly iver since this thing started.

Purchase some topical spot-on Revolution and put it on your mom's pets once every 2 weeks for a month, then once a month. I'm assuming mom has dogs/cats? Revolution will treat and control sarcoptic mites and fleas. Mom's pets should be checked on anyway if mom is an alcoholic.

It sounds like you have Morgellons disease based on what you described. I have same. Get on the forums, and read everything you can, and know you are not alone. There are 300k worldwide that have this including babies. We are NOT delusional. We are a product of the synthetic biology industry, gov experimentation, chemtrails, and genetically modified foods GMO, GM foods, processed foods. At least that is a theory with much scientific foundation. Can you see why there is a massive attempt to discredit those who have this? It is all f-ing greed!! There is no cure until the population starts screaming. By 2012 it is estimated that Morgellons disease will reach one million, yet here we are living in silence. The disease is believed to have been made in a lab and is partly agribacteria. A super organism designed to protect crops, that when eaten, and ingested, BOOM! Also stealth and cannot be detected in labs (biowarfar program?)- voltaire.com ? A jpoint operation with the US gov and Monsanto maybe? bioethics.gov/ for more info on how our own government allows these industries to experiment on us through aerosols. Look up chemtrails it is REAL!!! You have a systemic infection! that means it is not just skin deep. You can treat. FInd a doctor who understand this disease. get help from others who have it. they will tell you what to do to get this down. God bless us all!! Peace!

I'm 13 and my head(scalp) has been itching for at least a month now. I went to the doctor and got some shampoo to calm the scalp down but it hasn't worked. Also when I scratch my head and then look under my fingernails there are these little black speck things that look a bit like sand. On occasion a bugs come out too (EEEWWW!!!!) but my moms checked my head for lice and there aren't any, there also aren't any little lice eggs so I'm really confused and it's just plain annoying!

First, wash your hair with a sulfur soap and leave in for 10 minutes, then use a dandruff shampoo as this makes an hostile environment. Otherwise, you will have to use a lice shampoo and see if that works. Get a new pillow or cover yours in plastic to prevent reinfection. I hope it isn't something that will travel to the rest of your body. Good luck!

This is awful. I am certain I am contagious. Is it alive? Mites? Or waste? Do stressed, depressed. Loss of appetite, weight loss. Isolation. My itching and crawling has calmed but the guy im dating makes me itch immediately. Crawling on face, in nostrils, eyebrows, scalp...i cant sleep in bed with him. We have these drain flies or fungus gnats where I live. Are they coming from me?

The cheapest headlice medication is kerosene, also called lamp oil. Get it at yr hardware store. Rub it in all over. Leave it awhile, then wash off. Look it up. They used kerosene on farms in the old days.

I see I'm not the first person on this site who's made the connection between this so called mite infection called Morgellons, Monsanto, GMO foods, etc.... What no one knows is how to really kill these nanobots. The agribacteria is only part of the problem, the larger problem are the nano's.

I too share many of the above problems. Black specks. Itch scalp. My hair actually was falling out in handfuls awhile back. I had this desire to pick my hair for relief due to the pressure I was feeling in my head. I did have bugs at one point but no longer bugs just black dots that comes with my new hair growing back. I feel like I tried everything. Moved twice. Got new furniture. Even a new car. Wash everything constantly and use laundry mat. My family and friends don't believe me and I've issolated to the point I lost my job. I need treatment options. Have been to several doctors and dermatologist who say its in my mind. I know it is not in my mind and have suffered tremendously.

Jessie - get your derm to prescribe Econazole Nitrate cream, oral Lamasil and/or Nystatin, Ketoconazole shampoo. Go on a no sugar/wheat/dairy (except plain organic yogurt) diet, FRESH food - NO PACKAGED FOODS (no diet soda either) take lots of probiotics. This is a fungal infection.

Read this: http://malassezia-yeast-mystory.blogspot.com.... - although she got so disgusted with doctors that she didn't take anti-fungal meds and found her own method, it sounds the same.

I'm doing the anti-fungals and it's AMAZING.

Fungal infections are one part a a big equation , but given enough time you'll learn that, at least there is a slight chance. Also a "blog" is not a very good source of factual info.

Dermatologists are a complete waste of your time and money. You need to read this and then go to an infectious disease specialist.

The most recent evidence says that morgellons disease is actually a skin manefestation of Lyme disease or "borrelial dermatitis" . If morgellons patients are treated for Lyme then the morgellons goes away.
