I've been looking for through many post to see how to find online prescription drugs for scabies. Unfortunately I was able to find browsing through is that I need to go to Mexico to purchase Ivermectin. Well that wasn't going to work because I live in South Korea. I did my own research and I have yet to find this in any other post. I found an online store that sales generic drugs, and I see a lot of the people have problems getting access to good treatment.
Here is the website: http://www.westcoastdrugs.net/
I went ahead and took many of the posters advice and decided to attack this thing with a dual treatment of Ivermectin and Permethrin. Order it yesterday and takes about 3 weeks to get to me. YIKES. But if you live in the US shipping will be quicker.
I've been living with Scabies for about 2 1/2 months, and have become immune to all the treatments options in Korea. They gave me Crotamiton (shit) lotion, and then Lindane Lotion (which they told me to put on 3 times a day for 5 days, the bastards are obviously trying to kill me). I was going give up and wait until June, when I go home, to get treated. Thank god for that company because now I have hope. I have a trip to Thailand on the line, and I wasn't going to go because of these FUCKING mites.
Anyways wish me the best of luck in this nightmare, as I wish you all the best of luck.

I'm really surprised that you can't find Ivermectin in South Korea. The generic brand is called Stromectol. What did the doctors say when you asked them to prescribe it? Did you try the animal feed stores?

Have you tried the topical Vaseline mixed with sulfur approach? In China you can find it over the counter for .10 cents a tube. I would think you could find it over the counter fairly cheap in South Korea too.

Is this what you ordered?

http://www.westcoastdrugs.net/generic-medicin...

I would do the Vaseline/sulfur topically and Ivermectin simultaneously.

Certainly not! That is for canines! Haha!
This is the one I ordered!

Yes I'm currently searching for some sulfur as we speak. It's kinda of hard with the language barrier. But thanks for the advice.

Use the lindane.
Go to the lindane site and read all their rebuttels sp.
People post here occassionally and chastise us for not using lindane. They are extremely happy with the results.
Just use it...everything is poison...ivermectin too. I buy iver at the feedstore. Apple flavored 1.87% for horsies. Good luck and don't worry that you're not in the states, the docs are no help usually.

They became immune to the lindane... it was quite ridiculous. Well my medication just came in and I couldn't be more happier. I took the ivermectin this morning (however not on a empty stomach, hope that didn't ruin anything), and now I'm going go to a hotel and put on the perm cream. The great thing about Korea is that we have saunas where you can stay and sleep overnight and it's really cheap... So i'll get out of my apartment for a little while, is seven days too excessive?

Anyways I also purchase neem oil and will be using that on itchy and bumpy spots also. Neem oil seems to work well in healing and relieving the itch.

I plan on reapplying the cream in 7 days, where I will start sleeping in my apartment again, and then taking another ivermectin in 10.

How does my plan of attack sound people? And does anyone have suggestions. I have high hopes in killing this FUCKERS once and for all! Koreans have a saying here that just makes me LOL... So i'll leave on that saying, FIGHTING!

If you are going to leave your apartment, what are you going to do with it while you are gone? It would be best if you left the a/c on to REMOVE THE MOISTURE out of the air. Mites dry out if the humidity is low. ensure your apartment is clean and sprayed with something before you leave. your bedding should be mite free.

You should of seen the questionable motel I stayed in last night. The area is notorious for prostitutes, but motels are cheap there and I'm on a budget. Sure I probably caught some other god awful parasite, but at least I'm out of my SCABIES infested apartment! So day one post treatment.... uh well no updates! The thing I hate about these damn bugs. You need patience to treat them and I have NONE!

That was pretty fast. It came in one week instead of three. What did they charge you for shipping and handling?

By the way, do you teach English in Korea? I hear there are lots of teaching positions over there.

Yes I'm teaching English here! Many opportunities and it's great! Have a few months left on my current contract, and scabies have been ruining it for me! My current treatment is looking good so far. It's been about six days, and I'm taking another Ivermectin pill, and I'm going do perm treatment tonight.

We're all waiting to hear the verdict. Did westcoastdrugs.net turn out to be a reliable company and provide you with counterfeit or real Ivermectin? Did the Ivermectin work? What was your experience with Permethrin? Did the Permethrin burn your skin and cause itching for weeks and weeks?

Enquiring minds want to know!

Sorry for the late reply.

No the permethrin did causes some irritation but it didn't last long.

The combo of Permethrin and Ivermectin seems to work well, and I think if I had just one more tube of permethrin I would be in the clear.

However that's not how the ongoing story ends. I spent a good while having my symptoms under control, and then I read about benzyl benzoate from this forum and thought that I would give it a try instead of ordering more Permethrin. My mistake!

All symptoms were relatively cleared but I was ordering it to be safe. I applied the lotion and everything seemed to be fine. It was a good two in a half weeks of no bites, and I did a weekend of heavy drinking (my excuse is that it's my last two weeks in Korea and I had to live it up)I woke up from my third and final day of partying and my stomache was covered in bites, and a few on my arms. Now this was going from not itchy and no bumps to instantly being covered and itchy again. Which it usually comes back slowly not instantly, and I move on to the next method.

I had a false sense of relief when I realized I had two more bottles of benzyl benzoate, and so I rubbed it all over my body. Went about my business as usual.

That night when I got home I had even more bites, and they were spreading. The directions of the benzyl benzoate said to reapply and keep it on for a 24 hour period. I did just what it said, and guess what 24 hours more bumps.

I'm not paranoid nor do I think this is something else. I've now had scabies since December and I know what scabies look like on my body.

It seemed the benzyl benzoate just made them more mobile on my body, and caused them to spread. I now wish I would of ordered more Pemthrin then coming across Brausa thread and having a false sense of hope.

I'll try to use the benzyl benzoate again, because I have it, but at this point it looks like it's doing nothing. More bites are appearing, and the nightmare is coming back again. I really thought I was cured this time... so this is really disapointing. Going home in a few weeks, and looks like I'm bring an extra gift home :(! Oh and Thailand... sigh.... I don't know what I'm doing about that.

I see no where in your post where you said that you continued to take the ivermectin once every 7 days, until totally cleared of this plaque. Maybe that was the mistake.. Not so much the Benzyl Benzoate.

I believe Dermisil, spelled with an R, is a scam.

Oh Sorry. Forgot to add that yes I took the Ivermectin. And it seem to keep them at bay also. But doesn't seem to help with this current re-infestation.

It was hard to tell because I was doing a combination treatment into what was actually helping me.

All treatments I used thus far provided me with instant relief. Within 2 days I would stop itching and my bumps would start healing at a rapid rate. Benzyl Benzoate has been the only medication that hasn't done that for me.

Took an Ivermectin pill (which was my last :() this morning, so we will see how that goes.

Dermisil does seem like a scam. I wanted to see if other people used or tried it, and that's only because no one has posted anything that I see on it.

Ivermectin/Stromectol comes in 3 different doses - 3 mg., 6 mg. and 12 mg. If you weigh 120 pounds, a 12 mg. tablet would be the dose for you. But, if you weigh 150 pounds, you will need at least 15 mg., and that would be 5 of the 3 mg. tablets., per dose., once every 7 days, in addition to a good topical at the same time. do not bath for 24 hours or more if you can stand it.

have you consulted a doctor about dosing and your condition?

I live in Korea... they don't have Ivermectin as a treatment option here. I've been ordering everything on the internet.

The treatment options that I can get through doctors is either Cromatin cream (shit) or Lindane lotion, and they became immune to the second.
