Forgive me for my outburst. I have this Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality. I can't control my outbursts. My doctor has me on Orap for this disorder. Oh, I see my brother is posting, too. I can't win for losing.

I'd prefer it on my banana split. Those raspberry smoothies that Fred makes are lame.

Another thing group do not use neem or clove oil if you work in a cube environment! I basically had to leave work because soo many people kept passing by saying what's the smell :-( going back there tonight to febreeze the area. Sooo embarrassing!! Washing out my hair and I will only put this crap on me when I'm home on the weekends.:-(
About the detox mites, i too have been using a special shampoo n conditioner just for them in my hair an i have to admit it has improved alot, so you could be on to something there. I think we tend to chase them from one area to another on our bodies also.
I notice I use a sulfur lotion I ordered an it dont seem to have as bad smell an the sulfur soap, but it is a it on the greasy side, ugh!
My next move here soon is going to a dermatologist an getting some testing done to actually see if he can find any type of mites on my skin.

Going to the derm to do a scraping to figure out what mites you have is a good idea. My doc gave me an rx for a shampoo and I'm going to get it filled. When I use acne meds I stop feeling crawling on my face it been at least a month since I have used it. I don't think I have scabies anymore. I think I'm dealing with demodex mites. I'm going to take iver pills for the next 4 weeks with clove and neem on the scalp on the weekends, plus medicated shampoo. I feel pretty normal, besides the crawling every once in a while. I read a report of a doctor who his patients had scabies and they treated with a lot of prem, but kept feeling crawling. The doc said we all
Have mites on us and that using so much prem made them sensitive to the crawling. So he put them on Zyrtec for two months and they stopped feeling the crawling...
I know I don't have the intense itch, bite marks, black specks or bumps. Now the crawling need to stop and I can be 100%:-)

All right you two knuckleheads, what exactly is the name of the "shampoo" that you two are using.

If you take zyrtec, it masks the symptoms of scabies. Not a good idea when you are almost at a cure, and then you take something that suppresses the allergic reaction of the skin.

When you are almost in post, you want to feel everything. You do not want to have a false sense of being cured and then they start to multiply again.

What exactly is "detox" mites. Do you mean demodex, little girls, playing around on the net?

Do not take anything like steroids or antihistamines, that will mask symptoms, unless you want to continue on with this.

Needpeace. It is P...E...R...M
(not P...R...E...M)

If you are going to continue to post as if you are really suffering here, you might as well get it right.

Capeesh?

It sucks how evil some people really are. We are all dealing with so much. You would think this would be the place were you could here and talk about how you feel, instead there are people at home bored harassing suffers.

I see that the trolls have been out in force since I've been gone! The best thing to do is ignore them. I went to my derm yesterday. I told him this is the same thing I had when we had the cats that had mange. He told me that mange mites don't get on people! He gave me an RX for steroid cream and told me I have dermatitis. I know this awful crawling and itching is NOT dermatitis! The perm cream is the only thing that has ever helped to dry up these rashes I get. Has anyone ever used this steroid cream? Will it just hide the symptoms until I get so bad I have a really bad breakout? He told me to use lotion all over my body. I've done that before many times and it doesn't work. The rashes just keep coming back. I'm supposed to call the derm in two weeks to let him know how my rashes are doing. I'm afraid that the steroid cream will just treat the symptoms and not cure this! I'm praying for you guys that you all will get better. Keep this thread going, don't let the trolls run you off. We need each other!

And you listened to your DERM? He needs some lessons in veterinary care....

Nice that "he told you" that you have this and that. Just like that.

No scrapings, no tests... just "told you" that you have dermatitis. Well, God, now you don't have to worry anymore, huh?

One trip to the derm does it everyone.

You are thinking correct. You use that steroid cream and you are basically screwed, for a while anyway, until God tells you that you made a huge mistake with your "derm."

I have a great idea, take your cat to the "derm vet" and see what the "derm vet" has to say about cats and mange. Just a suggestion, though, in my humble opinion.

Have a great day!! Let us know what the "derm vet" says about your cat. Ask the vet if you can catch sarcoptic mange from your cat or vice versa and let us know what she says.

So, yeah, did you tell the derm that you already used the steroid cream, not once, but many times, and that it didn't work for you?

Tell your derm that sarcoptic mange is zoonotic and let me know her reaction.

My goodness, the trolls are out, aren't they? hum???

Thank you Itchykay. I like reading everyone's experiences. I feel like I'm not alone.
It sounds like your derm, doesn't know much about scabies. What are you going to do? Do you think you might have a different kind of mite? Not scabies? Good luck on your treatment.
