What happens to the scabies feces after you kill the mites?

Hi,
So I was just diagnosed with scabies(not cool) and I am particularly disturbed to know that those bumps are the feces of the mites. I was prescribed Permethrin Cream to get rid of them, but I am curious as to what happens to the feces? I know that eventually the itching goes away, as well as the bumps, but how does this happens? I need to know so that later, when I can come out of social hibernation, my friends are not so freaked out by my poo-filled skin.

Don't believe anybody when they say one dose does the trick. It kills anybody roaming around and the surface dwellers, but not the eggs. Eggs hatch and the adolescents make new burrows. You HAVE to re-treat in a week ...and even still you may only decrease the load of roamers.

1. THREE times a day, shower in warm water and SCRUB with tea tree oil (diluted) or sulfa soap or salt or neems oil. Let the lather stay on your body for 10 minutes or so and rinse with cool water. Always use a clean towel and put on clean clothes. Use gloves to transport towels and dirty clothes to the washer/dryer (20 minutes HIGH heat at least). Make sure one of the scrubbings right before bed time and right when you wake up.

2. Cover your pillows and mattress in a "BED BUG proof cover." Wash all sheets daily, put pillows and blankets in dryer for at least 20 minutes before going to bed. Put your hairbrush and washcloths in a bag in the freezer after use, rinse with hot water before reuse).

3. Cover your body in tea tree lotion (or eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender) and athletes foot powder to keep the hatching critters from moving easily about.

4. REPEAT until you don't feel pin-pricks, crawling sensation, or see new bumps. The more often you wash off the roamers, the less mite poop you'll have to deal with.

5. I would recommend taking Ivermectin as well, as it kills burrowing adults.

We are in our second round because my daughter and I did all of the above, got better, but my husband did not have an allergic reaction so he wasn't as vigilant. Turns out, he was most likely hosting a few momma's that jumped back on me. No fun to have to start all over :(

Whoa! How do all you keep getting infected? My derm said "maybe" it was scabies, BUT was actually psoriasis, But I was treated ONLY with one app of the perm, Just Incase, bc they are very hard to tell appart, but doing fine now. Washed bedding and other stuff a few times. All is good now. Terrible itching before and after treatment, but no reinfections as I have no clue how I got this, hubby don't have, grand child and my girls do not live here, I go no where as it is, nobody in my life has ANY skin conditions what-so-ever, not even acne!, and my hub and I do "seep around". But if I did have the mites, what does happen to their bodies, fecal matter and eggs AFTER all is said and done and not infected again? IF that is what I even had. A lot of similarities with psoriasis and mites, so even my derm dr couldn't actually find any mites in the skin biopsy and said usually you will not see the actual mites, and whatever else they have with them. And she said that psoriasis has a lot of the same Look and itchy's and symptoms, so maybe some of you should condier being tested your immune system to make sure youre not keep having psoriasis flares....just saying. I don't know why so may cant get rid of their mites, so easy with perm.....

After shower washing, i put the plug in the bath and give myself a cold shower. Small brown like worms rinse off my body. I am presuming it is the faeces of the scabies. Anybody else seen this?

My husband and i got this from a close friend of mine while her and her daughter were here and we went to the cvs and got tea tree oil and added it yo a bath every night. Soaked for about an hour and yes it is strong smelling but they hate it. When we stood up in to rinse you could see the little black specks in the bath water and the itching has definitely gotten better. We have only been doing this this week

Petra!!! I thank you for VALIDATING ME! I thought I wasosing my mind when I doused myself in tea tree oil then got in the shower, put a washcloth down my knock and back and opened my eyes and to my website horror there were brown worms everywhere! I literally starting screaming g!
Later, after getting an emergency Dr. Appt and a Xanax, my Dr. told me he had no idea what the brown things were but he had never heard anything re.otely close to that and it has nothing to do with Scabies. He then asked me if I was using recreational drugs. He thinkz I'm in drugs or crazy,(which I might soon be if I don't get rid of my little friends.). I feel dirty, disgusting, my doctor thinks Im either seeing things or high and I know what Im seeing and it's horrifyingly gross!

Ivermectin and perm cream is the ONLY SOLUTION to getting rid of these scabies. I had a really bad case with Norwegian Scabies (which is a huge infestation - millions of mites on me) because I went for 8 months before taking Ivermectin and doctor care. I thought I could cure myself with home remedies and I ended up being sorely mistaken. It was so bad I ended up going to the emergency room 3 times. My whole body was being eaten alive - literally, no joke. I had Impetigo all over. The Scabies were coming out my eyes, ears, head, arms, torso, back, my butt, groin, feet - everywhere!! I had seriously thought suicide would be better than dealing with this nightmare - it was THAT bad! But... I got through it. Ivermectin was the only thing that killed them all. It's now been 2 years since I took Ivermectin and the dead stuff IS STILL COMING OUT OF MY SKIN. Again, my case was severe, but I'm telling you DO NOT DO HOME REMEDIES!! You need to go to the doctor to kill them right away. You people are only spreading scabies around within your communities the longer you let them live on your body. Do yourself and society a favor !!! Go to the doctor and have your scabies taken care of with Ivermectim right away so you can kill them right away. I'm telling you what I have lived with to help you understand. Currently my skin still breaks open and bleeds constantly with itching out these dead mites and their feces. My legs still have scabs and bleed, my fingers bleed, arms, and my face is still trying to push out this dead crap. Just go to the doctor for god sake! Please!
