Don't put too much clove oil in your bath on on your skin. I knew not to do that, but did it anyway because I thought I knew better. It WILL burn your skin. Just a drop or two will do.

to all the people suffering from scabies --- the almond oil and clove oil mixture really works!! 100% effective!! I researched this thing on the internet plus reviews and all in my effort to help my daughter who had scabies --- got the almond oil and the clove oil ---and mixed 1 tbsp of the almond oil to 2 drops of clove oil to try it first as skin test. The clove oil maybe too strong that can irritate the skin depending on the person's sensitivity. So then it was ok and she applied the oil mixture all the way --and after a FEW MINUTES of soaking the skin with oil, tiny black things like scabs started to surface -- may look like just dirt but I am sure these are the dead pests that is causing her misery. Got to get those 45X lighted microscope to confirm this. She decided to put the oil all over her body overnight and upon awakening, for the first time in months to my great relief, she said, "Mom its working!"!

Aside from applying these effective oils in the body, I would suggest that hot steaming your bed, floor, clothes, and your surroundings would prevent and kill these critters from attacking you again and maintenance of cleanliness of the place, mess free should be helpful. Lastly, be careful of going to places and contact with other people where there maybe infestations that you may carry back to your place. Buses are also a source of infestations so make sure you steam-to-kill-critters your clothing before you hang them to be safe. God loves all of us and will answer our prayers! Love and Light -:)

My personal suggestion is to get at least a 400 or 500x lighted microscopic camera. You want to be able to see details of the black spec in order to identify it. 45x is too way too small ...

This is great news, what's worse then having scabies? your child having it. I wish you both continued success and a definite cure. I am also having success with both clove leaf and clove bud oil,I mix it with Olive oil, I also use neem oil and my homemade sulfer lotion off and on, during the day only. At night after showeing and before bed, the clove leaf/bud oil is a must. I can truly say so far...the clove leaf and bud oil wins as the best method for me so far.

I wash all loads of laundry, all of it in Hot hot water, with a cup of liquid detergent, a cup of borax and a splash of bleach, everything...I also do a second quick rinse in HOT water before I take clothes out of washer and dry on hot heat. I also use 91% alcohol and lysol on everything.

I am posting this because I want to help every person that suffers from Scabies. NOBODY should have to experience this horrible disease. It destroys your body, your emotional health and your life! I always knew that WHEN I was cured, I would come back and share my experience, as you all were very helpful to me in my darkest hours.
I know that God delivered me, and I give Him ALL the glory!
BUT! There are unbelivers out there who desperately need to find a cure from this torment.
New Scabies Study
Researchers from the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (Dr. Cielo Pasay) performed a clinical study on the effectiveness of Clove Oil in killing scabies mites. It killed the mite within 15 minutes of placing it in the oil.
SO FAR, THIS IS THE ONLY ESSENTIAL OIL CLINICALLY PROVEN TO KILL SCABIES. All the previous studies on tea tree oil etc. have been proven NOT to work!
I do NOT recommend using it straight. You need to have done spot testing! IT IS VERY POTENT and can irritate or damage the skin of persons that are sensitive to it.
I used clove oil straight on my skin and it was VERY EFFECTIVE! I did, however, do extensive spot testing on my skin before I applied it straight. Clove oil paired with DE (food grade) applied to the skin every single day for a solid month! I took ivermectin (horse paste) every 2 or 3 days internally as well.
After almost a year of using every kind of poison and treatments known to man. I saw all kinds of specialists including Dermatologists and an Infectious Disease Specialist. The Infectious Disease MD practices at one of the TOP rated hospitals in the US. NOTHING worked!
Ivermectin should be taken internally (I used the horse paste), along with clove oil and DE applied externally to the skin.
Take this information and do with it as you please.
It is given as truth in its effectiveness concerning my case.
I must say that for me, MY CURE was an answer to much prayer, fasting, and leaning into God. I give Him all the credit and all the glory!
For unbelievers, Ivermectin internally, and the Clove Oil and DE externally are proven to be very effective.
ps...there is no resistance built up from clove oil (a natural substance).
OK I AM GOING TO TRY IT I HAVE NO LUCK ON ANTHING.. I HAD IT FOR 6 MONTHS SO FAR SEEN MY SKIN DOCTOR 3 TIMES .. HE THINKS ITS JUST A RASH STARTING LOL .RIGHT

I use clove, I also find 20x pipettes squirts of 35% hydrogen peroxide in a hot bath with 5x tablespoons of borax and 10x tablespoons of epon salt.
Be careful handling peroxide and use on skin only at 2% strength or less
Buy a steamer steam work area. Put clothes for next day in freezer and steam shoes too.

I bought 100% clove oil and mixed it with grapeseed oil. First I tried 20% clove with 80% grapeseed but that was too strong. Then I took it down to 10% clove and 90% grapeseed oil. This is my first night really using it so I will post again with how it works. Do NOT put it on right after a shower, I learned the hard way when your pores are open it BURNS so bad! If you wait 20 mins or so after when all pores are closed it just feels nice and warm and it smells wonderful. I'm hoping this works, my husband and I tested it on ourselves tonight so tomorrow we are going to put it on our toddler who caught it from grandma and gave it to me.
So far we've down 2 permethrin treatments, and I plan to do a 3rd in 5 days. Just wanting the clove to give that extra wallop.
This has been a nightmare all around, in the last 2 weeks my MIL got diagnosed, we did first treatment, washing everything on hot, vacuuming (we put the bag in the freezer for 3 days and alternate them) and we covered the couches in plastic, mattresses in plastic and pillows too. Bug bombed the whole house (my MIL had a tenant over the garage who came into our house and left body lice on our couch, and then when the loser got arrested and she went up to clean his room that is how she got the scabies, so we had two lovely problems to deal with). Anyways I have been super stressed and I really hope this works.

i have scabies. Perm 5 times. Waiting on ivermectin horsepaste. Wondering if bimectin ivermectin horsepaste is fine. Hope so. Also am thinking of using dmso as a carrier for clove oil. Do not use clove oilstraight or it burns skin. I have a burnt patch on arm to prove it.
I have tried the jojoba and clove but is too greasy. I have now switched to grapeseed, peppermint, clove and risehip. I just read the study of terpines for transdermal adsorbtion so will add eucalyptus to the mix. I have a newborn son who i have not been able to hold. It is breaking me down spiritually. My wife is struggling with it for fear of constant infestation. I dont touch either of them and i mop every area i have visited. I also wear gloves, long sleeve shurts with cuff tucked into the glove, pants and bags on my feet. I feel like a complete leper.
My wife was treated twice and my newborn was slathered in 6% sulfur ointment for 6 days. So far so good for them.
Some days are emotionally draining and everyday is physically draining.
The one thing that most people dont say is if they have crusted or normal scabies. I have a fungal infection on my foot for year that is crusty. Not sure if that is why perm failed. I have derm appointment in a few days. I feel so hopeless. I have so much to live for but depression is bad.
I thank god for the strength he gives me to keep fighting these.
Has any of u used dmso yet? I am about to order some online and try it as a carrier for clove and ivermectin. So desperate to be rid of this.
Thanks for reading.

There was alot of debate on the use of DMSO on this forum a while back. Check out the threads here on this forum for DMSO and then you decide what you want to do.
http://www.topix.com/forumsearch/health/scabi...

I have always found that fungal problems on the feet were easy to get rid of. I just applied the fungal cream to my toes/feet twice a day for a few days and it cleared up.

Households with pets and children have a hard time with this because the mites are transferred from one person to the other or from the pets to the people or from the people back to the pets.

I find it interesting that you applied a sulphur cream to a newborn baby EVERY DAY. I don't think a newborn baby should ever be treated every single day. Be cautious with this and always seek the advice of a pediatrician for your newborn child.
How can you NOT touch a newborn baby? They require constant care, 24/7.

Well I was itching pretty badly today so I got desperate and made a cayenne pepper paste with water. Showered, put it on, left it for 10 minutes and washed it off with cold water. It did burn but not as bad as my first clove experience. I just kept telling myself that my nerves were firing but my skin wasn't getting burned. It did take the intense itch away, not sure if it will really kill the bastards though. I did not do it everywhere, just neck, back, butt, arms, and parts of the legs. Hopefully it will work. Plan to put clove oil on my kiddo again tonight before bed, also putting tea tree oil in vitamin e oil carrier on him after bath.

I saw my derm and he was dismissive. He did a biopsy so i have to wait for that. so i went and saw another doctod who examined me carefully and said he thinks it is lichen planus. After looking at pictures of this auto immune disease it might actually be that. Guesz i have to wait for biopsy. In the meantime i will cut back my aggressive ivermectin and topical treatment. I guess killing parasites inside isnt a bad thing. I pray to god it is lichen planus. Not because i want it but because it is not contagious and i will finally be able to hold my 1 month old boy.
Please pray for me. I will pray for u all.

I hope the derm is right. Not that you want to have an immune system problem, but at least your not contagious. I will deff pray for you and your family. How long till the derm gets back to you? I would continue with the cleaning till you know for sure. GB

2 weeks i find out. I will keep up the 1,2,5,8 iver protocol i have read but will only use grapeseed oil and clove plus de as topical. Clean is going to be an ongoing thing anyways. Thank you for your prayers. This has been an emotional month. Bringing son home and being possibly misdiagnosed with scabies was crushing. God will guide me. This was penance for all the ill deeds i have done i am sure.
I will continue to pray for all of you as well.

As each day goes by i am more optimistic. My rash is lessening without me using any oils on my skin. I should not that rosehip oil has the fastest absorption index for carrier oils followed by grapeseed and others. However rosehip is expensive and extremely drying so it should be used as 10% with another carrier like grapeseed. I still feel the crawling and stinging on my toes and feet but upon close inspection there are no "burrows" just small bumps that arent even pimples. It is most likely a form of fungal infection from all the plastic bags i have kept on my feet as a barrier from foot to floor. I have also read that lichrn planus can cause crawling, pin prick feelings. As well i am fairly certain that anyone who has been aggressively fighting scabies is in some state of mental duress. Not saying we are crazy but that our senses are hyper elevated to sense any and all things. I feel them so i am of course including myself in this heap.
I think most importantly it is above all else important to stay as normal as possible without infesting others. I was so depressed and distraught i had almost forgotten about my wonderful wife and beautiful baby boy. I have now promised myself, scabies or lichen planus, i will make time to enjoy them and not leave them out of my struggle against whatever this is.
In any case i am inclined to think i am in post scabies as any and all new dots are just that, dots. No burrows, tunnels, squiggleys and such. It is also possible tha lichen planus was onset by my repeated used of perm, borax, peroxided, salt, sea salt, cayenne, tea tree, clove and all the other shit i have put on my skin to try and kill these things. In any case i just wanted to write and say do what you can to fight these things but dont forget to enjoy some semblence of nornalcy. Heres to hoping i have an auto immune disease instead of a contagious super bug. God works in mysterious ways. Before this i was a heavy drinker, smoker and pot head. Now i am none of those. I have found god and thank him all day evryday that my wife and child has not been affected by this. Good luck all.

Hi, I've had scabies now for about a year, and am going to try the clove oil. I had used the permithrin (spell?) cream my doctor prescribed for me and thought they were gone, but when my now fiance came up itchy after the first time we didn't use a condom i just about had a mental breakdown. I just want this gone. I want it gone for him more than anything because he shouldn't have to deal with it because of me. I bought the clove oil today, but Im seeing a lot of other things mentioned. I don't have them on my scalp or ears, and I've learned to deal with them pretty well, but since I've had them for a while, is there anything extra i need to do to make sure they're really gone this time? Do i need to wash every article of clothing in my apartment? How do i take care of my bed? Is my carpet housing them? How long should we use condoms or abstain? I feel like i need a play by play cause i feel like I'll never get rid of them. Help!!!:(
