I am posting this because I want to help every person that suffers from Scabies. NOBODY should have to experience this horrible disease. It destroys your body, your emotional health and your life! I always knew that WHEN I was cured, I would come back and share my experience, as you all were very helpful to me in my darkest hours.
I know that God delivered me, and I give Him ALL the glory!
BUT! There are unbelivers out there who desperately need to find a cure from this torment.

New Scabies Study
Researchers from the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (Dr. Cielo Pasay) performed a clinical study on the effectiveness of Clove Oil in killing scabies mites. It killed the mite within 15 minutes of placing it in the oil.
SO FAR, THIS IS THE ONLY ESSENTIAL OIL CLINICALLY PROVEN TO KILL SCABIES. All the previous studies on tea tree oil etc. have been proven NOT to work!

I do NOT recommend using it straight. You need to have done spot testing! IT IS VERY POTENT and can irritate or damage the skin of persons that are sensitive to it.

I used clove oil straight on my skin and it was VERY EFFECTIVE! I did, however, do extensive spot testing on my skin before I applied it straight. Clove oil paired with DE (food grade) applied to the skin every single day for a solid month! I took ivermectin (horse paste) every 2 or 3 days internally as well.

After almost a year of using every kind of poison and treatments known to man. I saw all kinds of specialists including Dermatologists and an Infectious Disease Specialist. The Infectious Disease MD practices at one of the TOP rated hospitals in the US. NOTHING worked!
Ivermectin should be taken internally (I used the horse paste), along with clove oil and DE applied externally to the skin.
Take this information and do with it as you please.
It is given as truth in its effectiveness concerning my case.
I must say that for me, MY CURE was an answer to much prayer, fasting, and leaning into God. I give Him all the credit and all the glory!

For unbelievers, Ivermectin internally, and the Clove Oil and DE externally are proven to be very effective.
ps...there is no resistance built up from clove oil (a natural substance).

I'm posting the findings.......>Good news for people who suffer with scabies: Australian researchers have found that clove oil may be an effective treatment for this contagious itchy rash that affects more than 300 million people around the world.

The Itch of Scabies
Scabies, also called sarcoptic mange, is caused by a microscopic mite (Sarcoptes scabiei) that burrows into the skin, causing an allergic reaction and severe itching within several weeks. Lesions formed by scratching can lead to secondary bacterial infections, and serious complications may result, especially following Group A streptococcal infections, leading to heart and renal disease.

Human scabies is nearly always caught from another person by close contact, according to the American Academy of Dermatology, and most often occurs in crowded living conditions. Scabies mites are attracted to warmth. After the female mite lays her eggs in a human’s skin, she produces toxins that cause the allergic reactions. When the eggs hatch, the larvae travel to the surface of the skin and develop into adults. Mites that are scratched off the skin can survive in bedding for 24 hours or longer.

New Scabies Study
Researchers from the Queensland Institute of Medical Research used clove oil, ylang ylang oil, and nutmeg oil on two different types of mites. The clove oil killed all the mites within 15 minutes, according to the study’s authors.

Dr. Cielo Pasay explained that they also tested eugenol, a component that makes up 80 percent of glove oil, and other related compounds. They found that “they were comparable to an existing treatment for scabies, and could assist the development of new treatments for this irritating and disfiguring disease.”

Existing treatments for scabies include topical acaricides such as 5% permethrin, while more severe forms of the disease requires both topical and oral treatment with ivermectin. Research indicates an increasing tolerance of scabies mites to permethrin because of its widespread use. Such resistance makes finding a new effective treatment more critical.

“Our research aims to identify naturally occurring compounds that can combat scabies and prevent resistance from occurring,” noted Pasay. Use of clove oil for scabies appears to be an effective treatment for the itchy disease. Further safety and efficacy testing of eugenol-based compounds are needed, however, before clove oil treatments can become available.

Hi Bitten1,
I'm glad you are having good results after battling this for so long.

Did the study you read list the percentage of clove oil necessary to be effective? 50/50 sounds strong to me to be used full body. You might want to look into that, perhaps using a lighter concentration for full body and a stronger one for spot treating.

I had some good results in adding drops of clove oil to a mix of various anti-parasitic essential oils and body oil. I added neem, thyme, rosemary, lemongrass, and lavender. Of those, the clove and lemongrass would be the strongest mite-killers, and the neem is great for heeling and itch relief.

I read later that adding pine essential oil to a carrier oil is also an effective mite killer(see link that I posted on the pine-sol thread). That makes sense to me because pine-sol (containing pineoil and ammonia) worked fairly well to get rid of them in in my environment, but I didn't try it on my skin.

You might consider adding some neem oil to your mix -- the clove smell is so strong that it would cover the weird peanut/garlic smell of the neem :-)

Have you tried any internals like ivermectin yet? A few doses might help speed things up for you...getting where the topicals don't reach.

Anyway, those are the things that worked for me; arm & hammer in baths and for environment, pine-sol for environment, coconut oil and essential oils for skin, ivermectin (ivomec) internally, poor man's protocol supplements, and plenty of detox and green vegetables.

Wishing you lots of luck in getting this gone!!

Armed & Fab, why would I want to do that when I'm cured, they are ALL dead! It's like I never had scabies, so why would I want to use anything now? lol! I tried A&H, bleach baths, turpentine oil, diatonaceous earth, sulfur soap, and the list goes on..... actually the clove smell is very nice, a warm spice smell, like cinnamon not peanut/garlic, lol. Take care ;)

Wow! I midunderstood...thought you were still working on it. That's great!
How long did it take once you started with the clove oil?
Did the 50/50 combo make you nauseus at all, or was it ok?
Did the study you read say to use 50/50?
Just curious about these things for future scabie-ites.
Congrats!

Hi..I've read the clove idea and I went and got it and applied it all over.. day 2 now I have rashes everywhere. I'm so dissapointed. I have had this mite thing for almost 7 months. Did you guys have bites on your scalp? I applied it all over my scalp too. I didn't have the typical scabies though.. nothing between the fingers or toes. The doctor's treated me for scabies 5 times with all the creams but it won't go away. The bites will go in a line like down my sides 6 or 7 in a row.. on my back legs arms.. everywhere. I read about collembola and thought maybe that is what I have. Have you heard of that? I have a low immune system because I have Lyme disease and I'm afraid to mix the clove with another oil becuase I have to stay away from anything that will create a fungis type of effect. Any input would be greatly apprecaited! I've never been so terrified in my life.. 7 months of being isolated and I feel like I am not even alive anymore
and have rashes and red bites on me

Hi Terrified,
Ask your doctor if extra virgin coconut oil would be allright for you (with or without other essential oils). Following is an excerpt from an article about it:

"Coconut oil contains lauric acid, a fatty acid that serves as a natural antifungal, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. Some coconut oils can have a very light coconut smell. Lauric acid inside the coconut oil treats external Candida yeast infections, skin irritations, nail fungal infections, athlete’s foot, and even eczema and some skin allergies. It is also good as an all-purpose natural moisturizer for dry skin or sunburn."

Armed and fab, Thank you so much for that info. Does anyone have crawling and bites on the scalp? I sweat that is where their headquarters are. Has anyone had success in killing them on the scalp? Also, Armed and fab or nonscratchy,, how much Iver horse paste do you use? That is scary but I'm desperate I only weigh 105 lbs. How do you measure it out and as far as the DE has anyone had a good result powdering their body? I have tried but I get so dry that I end up scratching so much making things worse. By the way... what the heck are we dealing with here? Resistant scabies or a form of morgellons.. collembola. So scary.

One more thing.. I keep reading that the "bumps" could be fungus coming through the skin but it looks like bites to me. Red raised, some with white middles some with out usually looks like whatever it is takes 4-6 bites at a time all in one area. Did you guys have it in the fingers and feet? I don't have anythere.. hoping its scabies but I'm told it's not. Worried it could be a straing of the horrible collembola/morgellons since they have scalp problems and scabies patients are not supposed to have scalp problems. BTW,, already did lindane and permith on scalp to no avail.

You are dealing with resistant scabies.

On the horsepaste you draw out enough for one dosage, whatever the syringe says, 250 pounds, and then half it, for your weight of 105.

You can easily identify by buying a pocket scope or a digtal scope that can be attached to a computer and monitor.

Terrified, how did you go from Connecticut to United States, two different people or are you just Jeannie, our United States Troll?

OMG bitten1,
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY YOU HAVE MADE ME!!! I DESPERATELY wanted to be able to help someone by giving the cure to scabies!!
The people on the topix forum helped me alot, just by letting me know that I was not alone. I read their posts ALOT and tried everything they suggested. I spent so much $$$ and saw so many different doctors,...but NOTHING worked for me.
I researched the web for hours each day, looking for information that would lead me to the cure.
I knew that if I ever found the cure, that I would come here and post it. I couldn't wait to help everybody! After much prayer and fasting, the answer came. Hmmm, imagine that!...there in plain daylight, the clinical study on clove oil. Somehow in my heart I knew right then that it was my answer!
Anyways, when I came here to post, I was excited to help everyone. I was surprised to see that I was met with so much animosity. WHY??? It kinda hurt my feelings and made me feel like it was useless to even try again. I now realize that it was aimed more towards my faith, than the information on clove oil and DE. I want EVERYONE to be cured,...even those who were rude to me. lol
For some reason, this forum crossed my mind today and out of pure curiosity I came back to see what was going on. It made my day to see that at least one other person was cured with clove oil. It's the eugenol in the clove oil that is lethal to the mites. Be blessed bitten1, and may every person reading this be healed in Jesus name!!! ♥

ps.....I am now nearing the end of the "post scabies syndrome", and I find the clove oil is helping me alot with the fading of the scars. It penetrates the scar tissue easily and as I exfoliate my skin, the scars get lighter by the day! I am soooooooo happy to be able to hug my loved ones and hold my grandbabies again!
I waited about2 months after the last bite, before I would touch another human being. Jus' wanted to be sure I was cured, before taking a chance on giving it to my loved ones.

I hope I can help those who have this horrible demonic plague from hell. I pray for you guys. Some have of you have really touched my ♥. In particular a young mother who was trying to breastfeed her newborn baby,...without spreading scabies to her new baby. My heart was broken to read such a story.

Terrified,
I did indeed have them all over my scalp, ears, face and neck! The doctors do not think they go there but they do!
I used clove oil on my scalp too. DO NOT GET IT IN YOUR EYES OR MUCOUS MEMBRANES! I also did a skin test to see if I was allergic to clove oil,b or if it would burn my skin. I did fine with it, even though I did cry sometimes because it burns when you first put it on.
It did not burn my skin, but it "felt hot" like it was burning. I hope that makes sense. That sensation eventually ceased, without skin damage.
I knew I was not supposed to use it straight,...but I was so DESPERATE to kill the mites, that I didn't care what it did to me. lol
That is pretty much the truth, because I didn't want to live the rest of my life with that disease!
I was willing to do just about anything to get rid of that mess!
