Listen all,
Bleach does work. But it cant be bleach alone. You got to constantly clean your house everyday. put dirty clothes in a garbage bag. Vacume, clean, clean, clean. Always use a new sheet when you sleep. Try sleeping on the floor for a few days. Everyday take a bath twice with 2 cups of bleach. Watch it go away fast!!! Wash your face and hair in bleach water from the tub then rinse off with a shower. If you have sensitive skin and it gets dry, moistureize it with lotion. Watch how fast these little bastards leave your life. Within 2 weeks if you keep your house clean and everyone in the house does the same cleaning procedures. The best part is bleach is cheap and is everywhere. Those creams are worthless because scabes have built tolerance to permethrin creams. Plus permethrin is in the same family of pesticides as DDT which was outlawed in the 80's and linked to cancer, lukemia, and parkinsons disease. I put my money on good ol' bleach. Same as whats in the public pool!

Your recommendation is noted but I have been on this forum a long time and bleach baths with borax does not cure Scabies in two weeks or two years! Many people here take daily bleach baths to simply help manage their Scabies suffering. Many on this forum have tried every imaginable prescribed and non-prescription remedy and still are not cured. It because of many factors, most importantly what type of mite is burrowing under your skin? Reinfestation is real, but people are uncured because the mite is resistant to the oral and topical stuff. Likewise, bleach water doesn't penetrate the skin to kill off the female egg layers. So everyone should do whatever they can to eliminate these parasites and everyone should complain to the CDC about updating their Scabies protocols.

Some of you are treating the wrong bug.

Most of what I have read on here and followed was treating a skin reaction after the fact and making thing worse.

I just got back from the dermatologist and found out some important info

Fist off he stated and get this he knows what's he is talking about he have curd thousands of cases of scabies. He knows for sure what scabies look like I did not have scabies. He said while all insect bites look about the same you have understand the size of what is biting you. Scabies are very very small their track lines are also small 1/8 inch mostly. There is no way they could have cut those 3 inch tracks I have.

I never got bit on the genitals. Scabies always goes there. The getting bit in the eye is not real it a body reaction to the ivermectin same as the ears and scalp. He looked at all of it no scabies, skin rashes from he was not sure because I did not tell him I way taking bleach baths and borax bath etc but he knew more less that's what's it's from. Scabies just don't go above the neck line because of the different body temp.

Bit happening during the really are not happening when you feel them. They happened at night and to explain it the easy way your body just takes time to react to them because of the huge on slot and how long the battle has been going on. You body is getting screwed up!

Bottom line is the good news I don't have anything living on me.

The Bad news BED BUGS are far worse then scabies they are like a super bug. They can live 1 year with out feeding. They hide in deep dark niches where bug spray can't get them.

I went to New York to work one restoration after the hurricane this is most Likely how I got them.

Bleach seems to work reasonably well for scabbies mites.

10ml of 42g/L Sodium HypoChlorite (i.e. ordinary Kitchen bleach)to 200ml water each night. Apply below from the hair on your head down. Wash off after 5 minutes. They have not completely gone, but I am getting there. It works better than anything I have tried.

This is a step by step how we got them under control we are not out of the woods yet still spot treatment but we are getting there

1) nuke the house ( bug bomb the shit out of the house)

2) take horse paste ( I suggest 2x body weight ) every 4 days

3) 5% Permethrin cream ( can get off eBay) leave on for 72 hours

4) wash off perm then Nair the whole body except for you face and head. Use vaseline to protect tits and other items.
pubic hair should go! 5 min should do it.

5) Get 4 mil clear plastic (Menards) cover everything including beds and mattress, carpet, couch, chair etc etc

6) get perm 39% SPF ( eBay) make sure it's the indoor stuff. Use this on clothing bed sheets spray the plastic.

7) Nair about every week for 4 to 6 weeks

8) spot treatment with bleach then perm 5%.

9) if they get in your nose use Vick on them there. It does seem to work well

10) lint tape roller to use on skin and clothing.(this does work well)

I found that the horse paste does send them into making long straight lines this is a good sign that the Ive ( horse) is working. Having pets makes this 10x harder to get rid of. Dip the pets then find a confined area for them until this is over. Mites live a long time in bagged items don't open them for at least a month. Me 2 months is not long enough.

Good luck and happy mite 'ing

Ive had scabies for 8 months, did permethrin at least 10 times. I finally got my Doc to give me the Ivermectin. took it twice, still infected,Yeah it worked for about two weeks but then they came back.
Thinking of trying the bleach baths. Have one more dose left of Ivermectin, but don't really want to take it cause it made me feel ill after the second dose.

I just got scabies all over one leg!! and im gonna bleach my leg till it goes away!! i have herpes and i have used bleach on my outbreaks so im thinking it will have to work, funny thing about it is, i dont know how in the world i ended getting it, im very clean and dont sleep around, but i spent the nite at friends houses very often so i dont know i could've got it somewhere along...
Um apparently if you have BOTH herpes AND scabies... You aren't the cleanest safest person out there... And bleach on your herpes outbreak?! Is this chick serious?? This is def a joke. I hope. Take a shower, see a doctor, and use a condom. Also possibly don't hang out in the slums... This would be oh so good for your skin. And bleach?! Probably want to keep that away from you genitals...

some people have herpes simplex.. the thing that causes lip sores.

nothing to do with being clean or not clean. if you got scabies from not being clean, you especially can get rid of it by JUST cleaning, but tis not so, unless you think of clean as exterminating your house all the time. either way you need scabicides to get rid of it.

YES! It is safe and recommended by most doctors! But in addition to bleach, add a cup of borax. Again, a bleach with borax bath for 20 minutes, as hot as you can take it! Every day, twice a day! Make sure you hold your breath and dunk your head, soak your whole body for best results.

I wouldn't spray bleach water around the house. When I had Scabies I poured borax evenly over carpet, left it on for three hours then vacuumed it up. I know that some people use ammonia on a cloth to wipe down surfaces. Ammonia does kill the mites.

Bathing in bleach and borax is one of the worst things you can do to yourself and it will only damage your skin. Many people have regretted the damage it has done to them . It only makes the problem worse.
