DAY 1

3 bars of 10% sulphur soap and a bottle of 'doctors best' msm (powder gel capsules) arrived today. i washed with soap- its quite drying on the skin then made my own 15%(or more) moisturising cream with all my leftover moisturisers- aloe vera, cocoa butter, some lovely smelling tahitian flower oil, bio oil, and aqueous cream all in microwave and added to about 15 1000mg capsules emptied out and dissolved in hot water. made a second one for my hair mixed with conditioner. permethrin does about 60% of the job, but is very expensive and they return each time.

i applied the lotion when warm- my skin soaks it up better, and applied the hair lotion very thickly like a mask. now i'll wait. i feel a little powdery, but i added loads of msm.(maybe too much) no stinging, just moisturised, and a lovely smell from the products i added.

they better hate sulphur!!!

i'll apply more before i go to bed.

DAY 6

not been so vigilant to apply 2x day but i'm winning the war still. when a mini bite appears the cream knock it out in minutes. no itch. bump gone by next day. 95% of body clear now. some old scarring, and occasional itchiness at night in random areas.
i found out aloe vera has high amounts of msm too, so when making my lotion (batch 2) i put 50% aloe vera gel in and its MUCH more effective. taking some capsules internally too, for added benefits.

DAY 8

i did a really silly thing yesterday morning and used an old razor under my arms. woke up this morning, bumps back- very itchy. i dont know how long scabies can last but i feel they can probably live forever, with or without a host. TONS of msm cream on the bumps, itching gone. I think you only need one to multiply and cause chaos.

die fuckers die.

peace out

I did cure scabies a few months ago. But it wasn't because of the Perm. My doctor couldn't grasp his head around the idea that two treatments in two weeks would not result in a cure and he was kind of a jerk about the whole thing.
Perm left me with hyper sensitive skin, and pimples all over my body. I basically had a bad reaction to it.
WHAT TO DO NEXT?
Will if you are like me, all the environmental measures discussed on this board are as doable, as winning the Mega Millions. I get home from work at 7pm, have to feed, bathe the kid and get her to sleep. If I'm lucky she's in bed at 9pm. So I can't exactly run my laundry to a coin-operated laundromat down the block that often. Furthermore all the cleaning of the house is also not achievable.
So I resigned myself to believe that fighting scabies can be ***A WAR OF ATTRITION***.
Don't expect to cure it over night, especially in circumstances like mine.
Here is my theory, and I hope people can report on how well it works.
ECONOMICAL, NON-TOXIC SCABIES CURE.
MSM Cream (a type of sulfur that doesn't stink)

MATERIALS
- A large jug of cheap lotion, or whatever you like.
- 750 mg of MSM gel capsules
- Containers to store the cream that you make
- Containers to cook.
MAKING THE MSM CREAM
- Use a 4 oz container (Gladware) and fill it with 10 to 15 capsules with a little bit of water, and a little bit of lotion.(1/4 full).
- Microwave it in 20 second intervals until the lotion has liquefied.
- Stir the capsules until they dissolve. You may have to heat the lotion a little more.
- Add the remaining lotion and continue to liquify it.
- Pour into container you intend to use to dispense your cream. Let cool for a few hours.
APPLICATION
Apply cream all over your body, 2x a day.
Don't expect a cure overnight. This is a war of attrition. It could take a few weeks, but you will notice your skin itching less and less, and will begin to feel much less movement at night within a few days.
* I added some pure shea butter to the lotion because I found the lotion too thin.(Because I bought some really cheapo lotion.) When shea butter is cold, it is almost solid, but melts very easily. So it really added a lot of body to the lotion.
** I added a few drops of Tea Tree Oil and Lavender because they do help quell the itch, and also because the lavender smells nice.
*** After a few days of using this cream, my hands looked 10 years younger, and my skin looked pretty radiant.
The great thing about this cream is that it doesn't smell bad like regular sulfur, it's nice on the skin, and it it not toxic. So you can use this over and over without fear of long-term health effects.
Dear Davina,

I found your msm lotion recipe by accident on this forum. It has been a godsend. Since im not totally cured yet- i get one to two bites a week now, but i was COVERED in bites burrows and scars.

I just have to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU!!!!!

I was prescribed permthrin and have done 2 treatments 2 weeks apart. It killed out alot, but not all and my skin is now more sensitive to the the bites.

I use Sulpher8 shampoo(in the African American hair products at Walmart) with a few drops of tea tree oil on my bath puff.(Don't get it near your eyes-Ouch!) I let the lather stay on my skin for a minute or two. My skin feels great afterwards. The Sulper8 shampoo is very drying to the hair so I rarely use it on the hair unless I follow it with my regular shampoo/conditioner.

I found on a another scabies forum that people were recommending Biosilk Leave In Therapy for the hair. I bought a bottle at CVS. It's pricey but it works as well as the Permithrin. I rub this all over my body after my shower, every other day before bed. In the morning I find all sorts of dead mites in my bed. Type in 'Biosilk' in the scabies search menu and you see everyone's success.

Also I found on one of these scabies forums that alcohol or Original Windex kills mites. So in between floor washings I have spray denatured alcohol all over especially when I feel a bite. I spray the car interior before and after I drive it,the computer area, the sofa, the mattress pad when I change sheets. I am starting to feel less and less bites.

I also use Repel lemon eucalytus insect repellant (found at Walmart's garden section)in the morning and the mites leave me alone for the day. It's so nice not to get bit. Although every now and then when I do feel a bite, I spray the house zone with alcohol and apply hand sanitzer to the bite area and rub my skin until I feel the mites coming out of the folicles. Try the hand sanitizer treatment, you'll be amazed at what rubs out of your skin.

TOTALLY CURED- ONE WEEK AND COUNTING!!!!!
HAD post scabies syndrome for one-two weeks- itchy sides of torso, but no bumps.

NOW- no bumps, only used one bar of the 10% flowers of sulphur soap, and have half a bottle of my latest msm lotion batch left. Since both products leave my skin in great condition, im going to continue using them, scabies or not!!

Good luck everyone, and any advice needed from me, just message me.

I was diagnosed with scabies about 10 days after initial symptoms. Did one dose of Perm and now working on house which is exhausting since our home is pretty big. I am trying your sulfur cream and conditioner but can't find sulfur gel caps anywhere. Is it okay to use powdered MSM capsules for the mixture?

I found out a week ago that I had scabies! I'm now in the process of healing I know I'm not fully cured but it feels a hell of alot better than before! Not to mention that it's 2am and I'm on this forum with barely an itch! I believe its all in my head because of what I went thru the past two weeks. I used an otc cream which was 1% Permethrin! Yea it itched BAD after I used it but the next day was wonderful! I also used tree tea oil and neem oil the next day it cleared my skin beautifully! I believe curing scabies is all in a matter of cleansing your body and environment and also taking care of your skin! I also shaved my while body before using the permethrin, so I probably scrapped most of the little bastards away! Going on my second night now! YOU MUST CLEAN EVERYTHING! I read so many forums about people having them for months and years then I seen they called it the seven year itch?! Stressed me out and I said f that and threw everything I wore before I knew away! I know some of you have things you love but it's nothing I love more than my body and health! Not to mention my woman! We went thru this together! Luckily she didn't go thru what I went thru.. Sleepless nights when your groin and ass itch like CRAZY! I almost cried a few times, I thank everyone on here for there advice! I pray you all get thru this! It's a real nightmare! God Bless!

I just now made your msm lotion (but my msm capsules were 1000mg each - and i used 15 of them- I topped of the container with more lotion, stirred (a small whisk is great for mixing all this up) and as soon as I could (it was still warm) I was putting it all over myself.... IT IS GREAT and I think you may be onto something!!! I have been using sulfur soap, human grade diamateous earth but still had bumps not healing. I sure hope this helps.... at least I don't feel the need to scratch, I SMELL better after using sulfur soap in shower earlier and my skin doesn't feel like the sahara desert!! Muchas gracias!

So, i've had scabies for 4 months now. tried some home remedies and such, with no success. Finally went to the doctors and got a perscription for permetherin 5%, and it seems to have worked. I have a terrible immune system, so these mites reeked havoc on my entire body. However, witin 7 days (i am doing my 2nd treatment tonight)all of my open sores have scabbed over, and I havent noticed a single new burrow anywhere on my skin. The scabs are itchy obviously, but besides on my scabs. i dont itch. and last note, im a college kid. im prayin this nightmare is finally over.

Permethrin works if u are not reinfected believe me you will get new bumps and itch after you have treated its just allergic reaction the more u keep putting put stuff on the more your skin will reaact and u become obsessed with every little spot on your skin and the more your skin reacts do the permethrin twice make sure you dont come into contact with anyone who may reinfect you and wait 6 to 8 weeks and look after your skin with moisturisrers not bleach and other stupid stuff
