OOh guys been re-reading this stuff about the cream....lol a lot of information here, so please understand my confusion, now if I order the 15% lotion can I use that straight or do I still have to mix that with something? I want to get this right. The Dawn who would have guessed? Anyone try using it in the laundry with borax? In regards to the Dawn is this everyday use around the house and on the bed? How often, I ask because I'm tired from well everything for me it's been forever seems like, please bear with me folks.

So if I purchase the MSM cream, I don't need to do the mixture? Which would be more effective?

My household has been dealing with this problem for 2months. So far I have no signs, but everyone else is feeling the effects and losing their minds because of these mites.

So far the measurements taken:

-intense house cleaning daily
-laundering sheets daily
-vacuuming
-using rid spray
-covering couches, chairs, etc.
-Perm. cream 7 times so far, Lindane once.
-ironing everything:couches, sheets, clothes, etc.

I've done all of that as well, except for laundering sheets daily, I use a laundry mat however because the MSM is something that I haven't tried as yet, I really wanted to know the best route to take with that. As for the rid spray It is too toxic to me, does nothing to the mite, the rid people are getting filthy rich off that, the perm been using it for years, I'm nearly dead from that and still the mites survive, lindane is out, out, out, out! That stuff will kill you, before it actually kills that mite. My doctors are a--holes including my infectious disease doc. Ironing takes me an hour to iron one pair of pants, I think wow! If it were me under all that heat, I'm pretty sure I'd be dead by now.

Crazy Mite Lady...gonna try those links, one question if I order this MSM cream pre-mixed is there an odor? Really can't take the smell, I've done so much to myself over time, I'm just sensitive to just about anything with a very strong odor

Ps ALhatesitcin how are you doing? any bites. The MSM was realing soothing for my burned skin after sulfur, then I got reinfected going to the my old storage garage. Are you clear of the bugs still ?
Nite ,BIll
Doing good Bill the sulfer does work. People have to be very patient when doing any type of treatment. Personally I would have to say that scabies are hard to beat when you are heavily infested so it does take many treatments and for this I have to say Sulfer is good if your skin can handle this. No bumps just dealing with dry skin. I will take that over scabies anyday!!

Yeah I know what you mean but ordor or not when dealing with this when all else fails thats all you can do. Is go with it.. Personally if I had that MSM lotion I would do it for a week straight and take break for day or 2 and then go at it again.(Again thats what I would do and my opinion). As you can tell when you had many treatments and they all fail sometime you got to get aggressive with alot of treatments and such. This is why sulfer is good because it is less toxic than permethrin, Ivermectin, lindane and so on. Let me warn you that Ivermectin does not work like you would think. It will kill some mites but you will still have some left over. Taking Ivermectin over and over is not the best thing to do.

MSM - absolutely no smell. If you have a Vitamin Shop near, they have about 20 choices for msm, pills, capsuls, powder, liquid, lotion. Some lotions don't contain 15% msm though, but you can add some msm to make it stronger.

I've been using this to prevent reinfection, because I think that's been a big part of my problem all along. It's not irratating at all to me and my skin is very happy ;)

Its a learning process sadly if this was not on the internet there would be countless issues. I wondering how many people out there that caught scabies and then thought they were cured but in all actual facts they were not..

cml, Scabies3 is Mary (but don't tell anyone, shhh).
2Scratch is long cured.

AI, I have many times thought I was cured when I was only better, or got reinfested. I'm not claiming cured yet. I've gone a month without issues, but that has happened before. I have wondered if I was getting reinfested from someone at work, but nobody is scratching or seems to have it. I'm still on full alert.

Ok saw the answer about the iver on another board, forget that part guys, thanks....lol, you know I actually do have a written prescription but I didn't send it in with the order to Magic because it didn't seem to really matter, but after reading about iver effectiveness now I'm torn in that regard, I mean it's debatable whether or not it actually helps or not, the MSM seems so much more safer at this point....I'm so confused....:(

Hi the MSM is at the link www.nowfoods.com
then product catgalog on the left, thn msm towards the bottom

the direct link is
http://www.nowfoods.com/...

There is no smell, or burn , nothing... it is strong even mixed weak ( less than 15 percent) or used 15% as is in the premixed lotion, I use it 2 times a day all over. But not on my head ,(I dont like the greaseball look). I take 4000mg and mix it in 4 oz of water and dump it on after shampooing and leave it on, then lotion neck to toe (and on face). It stops the bites and makes the bumps go away. I used to have many bumps on my head and hairline, and eyes. now I have none. MSM works the best for the eyes too, I apply it all over then any time they itch. And the bugs go away, it takes a while, 1 hour to 2 days but they go and dont come back.
I mix my own because it is not always available at every health food store as a lotion
I bought some MSM premixed lotion and use it straight out of the bottle, it seemed to be better than homemade. But the homemade works great . It take 2 days to notice and as Divina found it takes 10-15 days to clear up all the marks and bites.( What a relief ...!)

Home made is 240, 500 mg tablets dissollved in 1/3 cup of water for 1.5 hours then add 28 oz of any kind of lotion
I prefer natural types of lotions from health food stores. Any kind will work.

It is non toxic, and you can take the pills too: to increase the effect, the company says on the lotion bottle.
I took the pills two times, it seemed to help. But after using the creme all the bites went away. I still get bit if I go near the places I know they are, like my storage garage and my old truck.
In my house I spray the Dawn mix (1 cup, mixed with 4 cups of water ) I spray every thing, ceiling, walls floors cuboards, vents, all of it.( I use a garden sprayer, and a hair dryer to blow it away from me, or a leave blower pointed at the mist coming from the sprayer, it is fast to coat the house and then leave for 1 hour to let it soak in . I get at least 3 days of no bites from my home after I have sprayed. If I go out and stay away for 2-3 days I do not get bit. When I come home and, I feel bites at my ankles, I spray the whole place with dawn mix then, and then I feel nothing. If I do feel like I am being bitten : I respray that area lightly, it smothers the bug. I leave the Dawn down, after a while ( at least 2- 5 hours) I rinse and wet vac it up.
I boil my clothes. I sleep on clean plastic, on a matress covered with a plastic cover.
I have none now. I was cured before using Sulfur powder ( FLowers of sulfur by Humco from www.americarx.com ), After I was cured I went back to my storage garage and picked them up again ( I am so stupid), it took 30 days to get free again using sulfur ( regular Flowers of sulfur and cold creme lotion 1 part sulfur 10 parts creme: mixed , applied top of head to toe)for 6 days and then MSM lotion for 12 days . I feel no biting or crawling now .. Praise God !.

I believe that possibly I did not need to use the regular sulfur creme, but only the MSM creme. MSM has cleared up the worst patches of ithing bumps
Once in a while if I had a bad area I put Betadine medicine on it for 5 minutes the rinsed and reapplied the msm. The MSM stopped even the worse infestations in my eyes... I am so Happy. It was driveing me crazy and the regular sulfur burned my eyes alot,( even though the regular sulfur worked well, it did hurt my eyes and eye lids)

I hope this helps I learned this from Chelz who posted here on the forum a few months back,( she is cured), I never used the MSM alot until the sulfur became to much for my skin around my eyes.
Please let me know of any thing that helps destroy this pest,
thank you for all you have done for me already
God bless you , Bill
( its late, but I saw the questions and I wanted to answer , I wish I had found this mild MSM lotion info in the beginning.

The first time I had Scabies, my two oldest kids lived at my husband's. Whenever the kids came over when I had the Scabies, they'd itch but whenever they went home, they'd itch for a while and then it would all stop and their dad NEVER treated them. Well, I finally got rid of the Scabies and stayed away from my kids over there for a month and that time I didn't get it back.
If your girlfriend still has them at all after you are cured, don't go near her. You will know when they are really gone on her, when you don't get it back.

Well so far I have 500mg capsules of msm, then went to a store and they had it pre-mixed with emu oil (argh!!!) could have saved some money, well anyway I've mixed that about 20 (capsules)with some unscented rite-aide brand cream is there a such thing as too much? Gonna order some lavender essential oil and some tree oil in a minute, but I plan to use what I have tonight....Bill I remember the flowers of sulfur from childhood, my mother used to jam it into our mouths on a spoon with a little honey, think I'll try that as well may as well try hitting them inside and out, hope I'm doing this all right, wish me luck everyone.
