Copied from another forum. What do you think????
after using Ivermectin and Permethrin over and over again I decided to approach this a different way. I also used DE Earth among other things. I knew I was washing everything during and after the treatments only to continue itching and seeing very tiny bite marks. This told me nyphs were still in my skin. I took a warm shower, not hot, remained wet, rubbed table salt from neck to toes and left it on for 10 minutes. You will feel a tingling sensation on the bite sites. This is good. It means the salt is getting into the bites and burrows. I rinsed and then added table salt to the cortizone cream I had been using creating a paste and spread it all over. The salt will fall away but you will not be uncomfortable or even know it is on your skin. I went itch free ALL day! I showered again at night doing the same routine. Again itch free and bite free. The bite marks have dried up, now healing. I put table salt in all my shoes making sure it got under the linings. I think the biggest problem has been dilluting everything and not using it as a paste form. Tea tree oil did not get rid of it even when I dapped it on full strength and burned the heck out of my skin. Scabies need fluid and oxygen to survive. The salt dehydrates them and they die. This was way too simple as I have been battling this for months. I did this for 10 days straight to make sure it was not my imagination or hopefullness. I no longer have anymore bites and no itch. My bite wounds are almost completely gone except for the scars left behind. I continue to vac every day, change the sheets and wash and dry everything in hot. I freeze what cannot be washed and put in the dryer in the freezer for 48 hours. Not sure I will ever stop doing this for fear they are lurking somewhere. There are many variances regarding how long scabies can live away from a host and I am not taking any chances. I have not felt this good in months and now I am going to have a life again. Try the tables salt routine. I promise you will feel relief the first time you do it and it will just get better every day after. Best to you all. This has been the worst infliction I have ever been through and not one I ever want to see return.
Will definitely give it a try. Have been rubbing powdered borax on my skin though maybe the salt is more effective.

U wanted to thank you all for the posts! If not for your help we would go insane. I cannot believe this condition takes place in 21st century, moreover in US and docs have no idea how to help us!
Fighting these demons with sticks and stones and whatever we can think of. Doctors don't want us in their rooms.

Please let us know if the salt works! Is your son still getting burrows? Or is he just itchy?

You should print out what the CDC says about iver and scabies, and let them know hey he's going back to school I don't want to cause an outbreak. Or maybe say he won't be allowed back to this is alset. I don't understand y doctors have to make it so difficult. It's not like your asking for Oxi

Totally irresponsible not letting people know how to go about cleaning the house and not giving presc to other family members. I'll be at their office tomorrow. We have bigger problem on our hands now as my ex and my daughters father died last Sun, she came home after the weekend at her dads house with this news. I need to help her, any way I can. In sat I was taking the laundry downstairs and tripped on the sheets, fell badly on my back and my butt is black and purple. No time to rest with this happening. Jeez! If this doesn't go away and soon I don't know what to do. Staying home tomorrow, need to find a psychologist for my d.

I'm so sorry about your lost. I hope your butt is ok. This year had not started on the good foot. I hope it gets better for you. You and your family need to be treated more than once. Best wishes

Honestly, most of these doctors need to be sued for malpractice. So busy saving their butts by not prescribing anything and CAUSING OUTBREAKS. They are idiots and I don't use that word lightly.

They are doctors. Make them accountable. If you reported them to the CDC maybe something would get done about them.

Call the CDC on EVERY DOCTOR who REFUSES to TREAT scabies. Not good enough. Not by a long shot. Maybe if more of them were reported then CDC would take action.

We did second treatment of Perm for my son only. We couldn't even get additional prescr from doc for us. After my begging doc office called 2 days later and told my son he needs to c dermatologist. And since my son had a planned outing with his friends he never told me about that. Anyways, we are still ok, its just me when I read more and more about this I get weird feelings of mites crawling and biting me. Took care of most important paperwork for other fam issue and been washing, drying scrubbing all the time. He went back to his dorm this eve and we will see what happens. His gbye treat was a bath in epsom salt haha. Chlorox bath was very garsh for his skin. Oh please, let this be the end, I'm really tired and sick of the sound of the washing machine.

How are you and the rest of the family doing? If anything I would do the sulfur treatment for you and your family if doctors don't want to help.

Sulfur treatment?
My daughter is 14 and has a bad case of face acne, in addition her arms itch from time to time bc of under the skin bumps, not acne kind but more eczema type.
Thank you for checking on us! Its been really tough week, all interest in scabies was shifted to her emotional dealings. For 14 year old to loose a father its crushing, I wish I knew about his cancer and were able to prepare her.

Your poor daughter is dealing with a lot. I hope everyone is cleared and now you can deal with much more important family issues. Sulfur treatment works for some people you get 10% sulfur product from Walmart you put all over you scalp to toes leave it on for 24 hours bathe do it again usually 3 days in a row repeat next week I spot test just in case it burns. Good luck to you and your family.

Thank you for the info! I really appreciate all of your comments and sympathies.

Can you believe I picked up Ivermectin today not knowing the doc send it in. I went to CVS to get my prescription and since they know me they were waving with excitement haha must've been my persistent calls to the med clinic and I've annoyed them too much.

Mike will start taking 6 capsules with another Perm treatment 7 days after his 2nd treatment unless you think he should do it asap.

Let me know whats best, thanks

They sell sulphur 10% in a jar at Walmart near the Spanish section. I wouldn't do it unless you can not get the prescription.

I just went through this terrible hell for about 8-9 months. The itching was driving me crazy. I could scratch my skin until I was bleeding and it would still itch!

I spent hours on the internet scouring for a cure, but no one had an all in one cure for this terrible affliction.

Well I am here to tell you that I have found the cure. It doesn't make you throw your furniture away, it doesn't make you wash your clothes 3-4 times a day. It doesn't make you pack your items up for years at a time.

This cure is just a few products that I used that will get rid of these little monsters. This is not a one night cure. This is something that you have to work a little bit at to get the desired relief. Relief will come, though, when you follow my instructions and use all the products that I have in the scabies cure pack.

I have assembled this pack and will only charge you $75 plus $10 shipping and handling. I guarantee you that if you don't start to feel better in 2 weeks, not cured but better, then I will refund your investment as soon as you send me what is left of the products.

My email address is [email protected] Send me an email with your name and email address and I will get back to you with the information you need to buy this package.

I spent close to $500 on different products to come up with this guaranteed process of getting rid of these tiny monsters. If you are tired of the scratching, please send me an Email.

Tempting but we are here to help each other for free. Taking our time away from washing, drying and scrubbing (haha) to heal each other with advices, kindness, understanding and whatever works. Everybody tries different measures to get rid of this horrible invasion and what matters most we find that in time of need there are strangers willing to help offering their help in our efforts to live normal life once again.

Have a heart! Your advice, your help would be greatly appreciated!
