You need to be more specific with these directions since you didn't do a "reply" comment so we could read the rest of the info or figure out WHAT you are using where.

A safe treatment to use while pregnant that's helped me a lot is Selsun Blue (you can use the store brand, which is a little cheaper). It has a small amount of sulfur in it, which is what I think does the trick, so sulfur soap may work even better.

At first, I applied it all over (body and scalp) everyday and let it sit for a few minutes, then showered and washed it off. Then when I just had a few affected areas, I would apply it there everyday. If they started to spread again, I would do an all-over treatment again.

At the same time, I washed all bedding and what clothes I could in hot water with borax. Would change everything everyday until things got more under control.

Also, I kept my nails trimmed, because scratching is what seemed to help these things spread. And I applied anti-bacterial ointment to any bites with scabs, so they wouldn't get infected, but I think the ointment also helped a little -- it's a petroleum jelly base with a bit of a sulfur compound plus an anti-bacterial agent.

This is not a cure, but it helped it become more manageable and limited to an area or two. However, it's now been about 3 months since I've had a bite at all. My diet has gotten healthier and my hormones have probably changed my body chemistry, so I can't say for sure what did it. I also know there might be a relapse -- I've had them come back after a few months before. So we'll see. Good luck all.

I am in the same situation and no luck yet. I'm due end of July and my o.b. is no help. She says that its in my head but can't explane the bites. She trys to calm me by insuring me that its all from the pregnancy. This can't be. Hot showers do help me with the itch but is just dryin out my skin. I can't sleep and I'm worried for my daughter. I don't want her to continue treatin herself all because nothing is working for me. I'm so sorry that I can't help but I'm praying for you. I too know how u feel. Good luck and if you do find something that works please post it. I could use the releaf...

Desperate and pregnant with mites! I found out that I had scabies last Sept. After a month and a half of trying to treat a bizarre rash I find out my husbands whole family had scabies and with the nieces and nephews sleeping over all the time I realized that must be what I have too. I then made a doctors appointment and the next night my husband and two children broke out with it also. We all treated with perm cream and washed everything and their infection cleared up right away and hasnít returned however mine just got worst so I used the perm cream several more times out of desperation(not knowing I was pregnant) as well as several other crazy methods to get rid of these things without luck. I stopped sitting on the furniture at home, going to peoples houses, I put the box spring to the bed in the garage and started sleeping on a sheet-less vinyl covered mattress on the floor. I stopped my home based sewing business because I was afraid of the fabric being infested and had to quit my part-time job at a gym childcare center that I loved because of these bugs. Then I found out that I was pregnant so I stopped all chemical treatments and just did very hot showers without putting my midsection in the shower stream which seems to work good at controlling the itch at night and keeping them contained to by legs. We even moved into a new house this month which I thought would end this nightmare but my scabies just got worst. Itís like their thriving in their new environment. I was really hoping to be over this before I give birth which is at the end of June. I couldnít imagine giving this to my newborn.
Please is there anyone else pregnant with this that might have some advice or someone who has treated this successfully naturally. My doctors donít really take me seriously because they can hardly see any lesions or bumps on my body anymore. My bumps and burrows are much smaller now (I think because of the hot showers) but still itch like crazy and when I blow dry my long hair I can feel them crawling on my face. Donít ya love scabies!!!
no luck here

yes thats the mites. You may also need more cream, and stromectol tabs. Clean house like a maniac with borax, and borax in washing too. Best of luck, its awful and the docs don't want to know.

the pharma solutions are 30 years out of date, however the permethrin cream does seem to keep numbers down. Natural solutions are useless and waste of time and $ and cause the mites to multiply into the thousands - you need to hit these devils with hardcore meds.

I had scabies when I was pregnant too. As if being pregnant isnt uncomfortable enough right? I used the cream and luckily it worked. I did use it twice though. 5 days apart. Honestly I would try the cream, DO put it on your face. They tell you not to but do it anyways.

Years ago, they did use vaseline to cure scabies. Sometimes they would do a vaseline/sulfur blend. I would try that. But I also suggest trying the permethrin cream.

Hi there I read about Vaseline which I thought we would try tonight. However things escalated so bad last night she looks like she's a burns victim we came to the hospital to get a proper diagnosis as one doctor told us it will just go away !!! Can u use sulphur while pregnant - the neem oil seems to have made this rash just triple like wild fire ., the chemist told us she can't use permethrin cream in first trimester - has anyone here used it while pregnant ...? Thanks guys - btw do u think at this stage anyone else at home would have caught them by now as its going on 2 mths - I'm worried as we have a baby in the house ! Any ideas or advice ?? Thanks again

I was much further along when I used the permethrin. This may be a case of keeping numbers down until its safe to use the cream. Question: You are obviously with your daughter a lot, are you showing signs of scabies?

I feel like I'm living in hell - just left the hospital when described how I have to treat my 18mth old just upsets me ! They said vasoline suffocates them - but everyone must treat with lyclear - which I always found rubbish when the girls caught head lice from school ! I have no signs but I notice last night 1-3 marks bite like on my leg jawline and shoulder - I clean her room wash all the clothes daily and do all the clean up so it wouldn't surprise me - I felt like I was crawling last night - feel just awful for my daughter - this is just crazy I've read long list of blogs of ppl not finding cures ! How did u get on ?
