Another question. If my partner has scabies on his hands and fingers, should I assume I have them in my vagina? If so, how would I treat that?

Not in, but around that area and the buttocks is a common scabies hangout. Treat that area between the legs and buttocks with your topcial. You should consider purchasing some human grade oral Ivermectin tablets to take when you treat with your topcial for full body coverage. And your partner should be treated at the same time you are. Timing, scheduling and treating all possible hosts and fomites is an important factor when treating scabies.

Hey Al,

Well, IMO, Martins is a last resort, can't get traditional Permethrin 5%, almost broke treatment if your aiming to use it as a topical. I was using Martins Control Solutions as a topical and ran out of it. Then I discovered I could mix it with a safe synergist{Sesamin} Sesame oil. I found it wasn't a good mite killer without a synergist or PBO. I never used the sesame oil with Martins but sesamin is used with pesticides as a synergist so it should work with the Martins too. Never use a permethrin thats mixed with petroleum distillates on the skin.

You would have to wait for the Martins to arrive, by that time you'll probably have your Permethrin 5%.

Martins makes me feel horrible, but so does Permethrin 5%. Permethrin is a slow kill too, something else about it that bugs me.

My topical of choice is 1/4 pure BB to 3/4 sesame oil and add a few drops of TTO.

Hi Al!!

I received that soap too and my normal skin peeled as well. That stopped after two days and now it really working on my craters. I don't take baths anymore, but I take my feet stuffm and hand stuff, and fingernail stuff...:), lather up good allover and start working on another area. From area to area I lather more on. After 20 minutes or so, you will start to feel a minor burn, wash it off. If you leave it on after that sign, you might progressively feel the burn intensify after your out of the shower. Slather urea lotion on and then BB later after skin pores return to normal size. I am having good luck, everything looking better. Still a ways to go.

Hey AL!!

Yeah I got tetmosol. It helps with the sloughing and calms them down for awhile. I have not used a washcloth, I use scrubbing bath gloves. Wash in bleach everyday. Hard to see on those things. I can't really say if those are mites. The ones I always see are either white, transparent, or black, or red. I am assuming the white and transparent are alive and eggs and the red may be a mite surrounded by blood from scrathing or scrubbing, and the black, either dead or alive, if hard is dead, if alive is a nymph stage mite or female. Are they coming from areas you have had activity from before? Currently? I have news for you guys but will go to another forum, since this doesn't have to do with my jewlery box.....lol...

I got Scabies 2 years ago but never got a diagnosis. I know it's Scabies because I had them from 1998 - 2000 the first time and got rid of them with Elimite Cream after using it several times. That time, I didn't get them in my eyes or internally but this time I do have them in my eyes, inside my vagina, in my ears and every part of my body. They say not to treat till I get a diagnosis but what do I kill them with internally as I'm having abdomonal pain and the doctors don't believe I have Scabies for 2 years now. I feel them crawling, biting and so does my 10 yr old son but not my 18 yr old. I can't sleep!

It wouldn't be a bad idea to treat internally because if one gets inside you, you don't know what organ it's going to bite into and it could be too late. I have had Scabies twice, the first time not internally and this time I do have them internally as I feel them crawling into my vagina. I'm waiting to find out what best kills them inside.

Do you have to get Ivermectin from a doctor and is it just for adults? Does it kill them internally and externally.

Hey guys.. You don't get scabies on your scalp, in your eyes, in your nose, in your ears, or in your vagina or rectum. Scabies is only skin deep and they are never IN YOU. What you have is a skin parasite... I am being treated by DermaTechRx and I have gotten a lot of relief. I am back doing all the things I used to do. www.dermatechrx.com/skinparasites . Check this site out and see if you have these symptoms. They are pretty knowledgeable and can help you too. 1-866-314-8917.

dermatec was a waist of money for me.

I used the salve for 2 weeks instead of hair gel and they mites laughed at it.

Just because some don't get the mites on thier head doesn't mean it never happens to anybody.

I've seen several pictures of people infested on the scalp.

baby oil helps too imo.i mixed permethrin with it and coated my hair and scalp in it overnight a lot so when showering those suckers would slide right off and down the drain where they belong.

someone mentioned lemon juice before as being beneficial, at least get satisfaction outta knowing you are blinding them, lol.i know, they dont have eyes-- but still.
