Hi everyone!

I'm not sure if this thread is even still going, but if anyone can help me I'd be very grateful! I keep reading about "taking food grade DE internally"...does that mean you just get a table spoon of the stuff and eat/swallow it? Do you mix it with water and drink it? Help me please!! I'm a junior in college and don't have the time or energy to deal with this horrific mite for years :( Also, I live alone so that makes it easy for me to keep things clean and I'm so busy that the only person I really have contact with is my boyfriend who, unfortunately, has scabies too now. He and I are planning to start treating ourselves, our apartments, and cars tomorrow, but the only issue is his roommate. They were randomly put in the same two-person apartment together by his apartment complex and they've probably said a total of 10 words to each other since moving into their place in August and the guy is a SUPER introvert. I'm talking sits in his room playing video games CONSTANTLY and I've only ever seen him go from his room, to the kitchen and back, and from his room to the door to leave. All that being said, should I just be THAT girl and insist that he do the scabies treatments too, or will it be enough to just clean the shared space, wash our (my boyfriend's and my) clothes daily, treat myself and my boyfriend with grape seed oil and DE, and sprinkle DE all over my whole apartment and the shared space of his and his bedroom? If anyone who knows the answers to my questions sees this please please please comment asap! If Vann from Tennessee happens to see this, PLEASE help me since you seem to really know your stuff!

Thanks!

Please listen to this:

In 2 years of having scabies we have tried everything starting with sulphur soap, then neem oil, then cloves, then tetree oil, colloidal silver and DE.
Everyone said it didn't go in the hair/scalp - but that is exactly where it is!
Then they crawl onto the face and I have had it in my eyebrows, eyes, on my nose, my ear and basically all over the face in a slight rash.
So because it is in the scalp it keep falling all over the body.

The problem is the symptoms decrease with every new thing you try, BUT IT DOES NOT GO AWAY AND WE ARE NOT CURED.

DE is amazing and since using it we have noticed them diminishing and the bites going away, so take it anyway because it is great.
COLLOIDAL SILVER is great to put in your eyes, because I had to do that because they got in my eyes. It is expensive, but you can use it anywhere it is a natural product and no you won't go silver.
I bought it very cheaply on-line the good stuff in large quantities.

BUT FINALLY, I AM GOING TO THE DEMATOLOGIST TO GET IVERMECTIN,
to get rid of this once and for all. Read about this on-line a wonder drug from Japan.

You say DE is great and amazing? Really? Let me get this straight. How is DE great and amazing? It's dirt. It does NOT cure scabies. Scabies is a parasite which lives under your skin. DE does absolutely NOTHING to help cure you of scabies. You guys are here selling this stuff and pretending you are suffering from scabies. And then you mention at the end of your post you are going to try to obtain the ONE MED that cures scabies, and that is ivermectin. Get real. Get a life. Quit posting about your bullsh*t DE. It doesn't do a damn thing for parasites like scabies.
DE can harm your lungs if inhaled. If anything, it MAY just set you back in your quest for a cure. Collodial Silver is dangerous, too, and will not cure you of anything. Be careful, newbies, about people on this forum selling stuff. They are extremely subtle in their approach, because they know there are people out there who KNOW THEIR GAME. It's not that scabies FALL ALL OVER YOUR BODY from your scalp. A few doses of ivermectin will help to decrease or even eliminate your scalp infestation. DE and silver will do NOTHING for your scalp problem. Ivermectin will decrease or even eliminate scabies in your eyes, eyebrows, nose, face. Get real and get a god damn, life. Carry on, Mite Warriors.

Why would you even want to cure scabies? There are many who would consider it a blessing to have scabies. You could probably even make some money, considering that it's contagious. I'm a bug chaser, and I was looking for an offline scabies support group to see if I could get infected, though unfortunately no such groups exist in my area. It's very disappointing. Most bug chasers want to contract HIV, though my "bug of choice" has always been scabies and/or Morgellons. Can anyone give me advice? The idea of sharing my body with mites seems so exciting, and so intimate. I've done my research and I'm willing to be in it for the long haul.:)

Hollywood poster, you're wrong. DE is not dirt. It fossilized shells of ancient single-celled sea plants called diatomes. It's almost as hard as diamonds and is very sharp. It kills microscopic scabies (and other) mites by literally cutting them in pieces. Also, it's negatively charged, so it attracts and removes toxins, much like charcoal.

Non-food grade DE is mixed with clay and other impurities. So, yes, it's dangerous to inhale or use around electronics. However, food-grade DE is pure and quite safe.

It's funny that you insist DE won't do anything for scalp mites. Because that's exactly what it has helped most on me! I used to have to apply pour-on Ivermectin to my scalp every night in order to sleep. I've been taking DE internally (1/2 Tablespoon in juice, 2x/day) for several weeks and haven't had to apply Ivermectin to my scalp since!

My mother had 4 children and my father. She looked after all of our needs. My older sister went to stay at a friends house and caught it there. She said she wanted to come home when she saw her friend with all the marks on her body, but she couldn't, it was on a highway and too far for her to walk, esp at night. We were all hovering around 6 yrs old +/- 2 years. My mother got rid of them by washing everything we touched in hot, hot water. I am only now beginning to appreciate the hard work she put into getting rid of these scabies. They are a scourge!! So please to hear that there are these other ways to get rid of these bugs!
