I am currently doing this protocol but with a little twist. Albendazole for a minimum 30 days and praziquintal for two days and again in ten days for two days. This is working for me as we'll and is the first thing that appears to be an absolute remedy. I have had no problem with the meds. A bit sleepy and tired with the prazi but it is totally worth it. I took the albendazole for two weeks prior to the prazi. If you have had this for a long time, then do this! I know some of you have because I use to come to this forum . I quit due to some of the nasty remarks by some of the posters on here. Just thought I would try to help the ones that also need the help. I tried it all, this is the cure and the only one. Doctors are not going to help you. Even if they find something.

Shaving my head and coarse body hair was the best thing I did for treatments. Scabies hides in thick hair. After removal of body hair I was able to isolate the spots to 4 with topical treatments, then I knocked out the last with War Paint - continual 5.5 days of treatment, I maintained the War Paint on and it killed the mites through the egg-hatching event..

Gerald, I've been following you posts about the war paint..promising! I did read it is very difficult to remove from animals ...did you have difficulty removing it from your body" i kept my head shaved for 19 months (I'm a woman in my 50's) not a good look esp w/ MRSA lesions all over my scalp. They finally healed but my hair is so full of mites again I can't her a comb thru it and it's only 2 inches long at most. I'm willing to do it again if the war paint reply kills these things. Please advise if these mites stay dead. I still have them coming out of my skin, MUCH, MUCH smaller but still coming out. I hate these things!

High doses of ivermectin are effective, but they make your brain do weird things, foggy vision, and it does not kill the eggs. I am liking the residual effect of War Paint, but it is messy.

I used War Paint because I had isolated colonies, 4 patches that I wanted to knock out. Well, the war paint knocked them out, but I followed it up with a high dose of ivermectin.

I would not use war paint on my head. I used a mixture of ichthammol 20% mixed with frontline plus, ivermectin, or pet armor plus (which is cheaper but smells bad) and coated my head and body for a few hours, 3 at the most. Then I wiped down my body with paper towles and left a fine residue of ichthammol. It looks like a tan. This fine coating of ichthammol kept the scabies from moving about on my body, and after about 3 weeks, I was able to isolate the scabies to the 4 spots. That's when I used war paint. I think I went overboard because my skin is red and dried.

Using war paint every few days is probably more sane, and it does stay on if you don't wash it off, but it is not like they advertise on humans.
