If you have the mite between two microscope slides you really need to get it to a MD so your sample can be sent to a lab for ID and to validate that you have a skin parasite that merits medical treatment. Once you've done that get a referral from your primary care MD for a Infectious Disease doctor and get treatment. Your treatment should be based on how long you've been infected. The longer you've been infected the more aggressive the treatment. If you've already done rounds of oral ivermectin with topical Permethrin then ask to be prescribed Albendazole tablets, 410mg every 12 hours for 30 days. You will also need a script for Amoxicillin 500mg as needed (20 caps) for subsequent bacterial infections when the Albendazole kills all the mites. You take the pills to continue killing the new born mites hatching from eggs in burrows dug deep in your skin. It takes up to 30 days to wipe out all mite generations. If you've been infected longer than 4 months urge the infectious disease doc to go the Albendazole route. I was cured that way.

Been getting bitten for over a year! Im at my witts end. My hubby swears he is not being bitten. Affected areas are couch and bed. No evidence of bedbugs. Pest is not visibile. Sprayed with pesticides. Washed and dried anything i could. I see hubby scratch in his sleep...cause i am not sleeping...even with sleepaids. Very depressed and i feel defeated! Please help me...i have sprayed bugspray on my body in an attempt to keep them off of me! This is stealing any and all joy out of my life. Even thought it could be scabies. Its not. I have developed patches of ezcema as a reaction to them. I shower every day and i am a neat freak. I do not undestand. Sometimes i feel them on my eyelashes and in the hairs of my nose...I cry. HELP

I thought also I may have had headlice. So I went to a professional who searched for them . She was able to reassure me that since she couldn't find any it's actually probably my diet. I had seebum plugs in my hear which look like lice eggs but actually aren't because they are soft. This was due to too much oil in the diet.
If you can't find the pest causing the problem it can be worth getting a nutritional test to see if you can find any imbalances there.

I've had psychological problems in my time. So I know that these things can be imagined. However, if you're genuinely open to the possibility that something in your mind might be making you think this then you should be able to tell the difference.
Either way, there's no harm in investigating diet and allergens. I've also noticed perfumes in washing powder that hasn't been washed out properly cause major problems so that so is something that can be experimented with. Try washing with just salt and water for a while with extra rinsing.

- washing powder
- diet test
- allergy test

I hope this is better than the doc telling you you're imagining it.
