Looks like a rodent mite they love your hair. I would look up rodent mites online.Hey folks, here's a tip that will help a lot. Get a cheap lens off ebay and have a look at it under the magnification. I think you need at least 40x to see the legs.
You can then take a photo with your camera phone and post it here.
Here's one that I pulled out of my back. It was hard to take out, requiring tweezers. One of them came out alive and was pretty rapid!:
I am not sure if this is related to a possible headlice problem I have. On the one hand I have been battling the headlice for a month now but only have been able to find the eggs and never caught one in the act. They feel like there is a bump where it itches. I think it's possible they have been forced off my head and onto my back? On the other hand this pictured mite was found when I moved back into an old room and I can hear rats in the walls so it could be unrelated. In any case I'm going to thehairforce.co.uk to get checked as the doctors weren't interested in helping.
