Just like to add that I have tried Iver ( 22 days in a row-- there is another discussion where a person said her doctor recommended 30 days, she did this and was cured.

I did IVer, BB, Perm, sulfur and sulfur soap as well.

None worked, sulfur soap hides the symptoms and they continue to eat your skin/stratum corneum underground.

Sulfur, precipitated and 20% with lotion tore up and dried up my skin after about 7-9 days.

This has been the only thing that worked. Try it at your own risk but if you have nothing else working, this is a godsend.

I am almost at the C word, did a skin scraping today at the worst areas both feet and shins, found debris but no live ones. Put my socks on and felt some itching, will continue for 30 more days.

Thanks for your post, and congradulations on beating this!

If I could trouble you for some more details, I'm sure it'd help a lot of folks.

Exactly what products did you use, how did you mix them and apply them, and how often and how long did you use them?

Also, how long did you use the Borax/peroxide mix before you felt that you were cured, and when did you stop after you felt that it was over?

Do you have a significant other, roommates or pets? If so, did they use the spray as well?

Any details would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Yes, scabies have hair, the immature mites have long string hair, see the academic article regaring 37 year old man infested with scabies.

You can get this from wiley's or ebsco ( databases, need some sort of prescription).

Jean, look at the url's that I post above, that is how to make this, 1000 ml of water, 500 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide, then add 5 heaping tablespoons of borax, put on everywhere.

I used a slightly higher peroxide %, about 1.4, 1.5%. Then I used more borax than what Ted recommended, Ted said 3 heaping tablespoons, I used 5, once I added more peroxide, you find you can add more borax and it gets eaten up.

Then apply and wash off 2-3-4-5 times a day if you like. I apply with a sponge, wipe off with another sponge, use the microscope to count mite numbers.

HOW TO APPLY BY YOURSELF ON THE BACK--Use a 14-16 inch FLAT spatula, cut grooves into the inside bars on the spatula, tie a string to a thick sponge to attach the sponge to the spatual. Some spatula's are flatter than others, buy the flatter ones.

Use the mirror, but by the 16 inch spatulas and not 12 inch ones, 4 inches of extra reach makes a difference.

See ted's site for instructions or the various posts by Bill in Michigan, the url's I posted for instructions are on the first post.

I used a higher percentage of peroxide than 1%, don't ever go above 3%. I use 1.4%.

What else, apply 3 times per day. If there are more questions, ask Bill In MIch or HEY BILL IN MICH, can you answer these questions please?

Why is the moderator of this forum taking out the url's so that people can see directly the sites??

This is absurd, I put in the urls in the first post as well as the last one, they have been removed, why??!!

For Ted and Bill's cure, go to google then type in "teds mange cure"

For the bleach bath's, go to google, type in "bleach bath" +northwestern university and you will see their research on this.

If you want to see pictures of the hairs of immature mites, go to this article,
"Clinical Pearls: A 37-year-old Man with a Rash..." by
Christopher Kabhel and William Binder, both MD's. It is a medical journal article, get a subscription to Wiley's or Ebsco or pay 15 usd or whatever it costs to pay for the article on pdf.

You will see that immature mites once they crawl out on your skin and die, the core shrivels up and all you see are thin, stringy lines ( post topical that you have applied ).

Just Anyone--

Why the heck is the moderator removing the url's, LEAVE THEM IN DARN IT SO THAT IT CAN HELP PEOPLE

TEDS MANGE CURE IS FOUND AT

www dot earthclinic dot com,
the exact title to look it up under is
" Cure demodectic and sarcoptic mange"

it you want to google it, type in that title, plus "ted" +earthclinic

Bill and Frito, ie. mm-m have used it extensively,

Use 1.5% peroxide for faster results, then add in more borax,

Ted recommended 1% peroxide and 3 heaping tablespoons or borax, I used 1.4%, then add 5 heaping tablespoons of borax, the more peroxide, the more borax you can add, as the perox eats up, dissolves the borax.

Ted by the way is brilliant, he has a chemistry background, the key to this is peroxide, it takes whatever you put with it deeper into the skin.

BUT it won't work with just anything, it's a trial and error thing, some mixtures might prove toxic, luckily not with borax.

One last caveat, he says you can use vinegar too. Also states that sodium perborate is actually better than borax ( which is sodium tetraborate). sodium perborate has multiple ions links hence the name, perborate ( multi borate ), tetra borate is three-tetra

Yes, just hit accelerator!

Vamos amigos, viva la revolution!

What you do not take into account, is that what most people may suffer from is something that (only) seems to resemble a scabies or lice like infestation.

If you can produce a well developed insect from a skin scraping, you definitely should focus on treating the infestation with standard anti-parasitic component(s).

But if you can not produce a well developed insect; than the story immediately becomes different.

What you than try to cure/eradicate are cell (does not matter what its identity is) and what you probably exclusively are interested in, is breaking up the inherent resistance.

And from now on, you have land in the world of (resistant) micro organisms.

Resistant micro organisms are standard treated/defeated with various antibiotic or other type molecules.

Ivermectine is one anti parasitic antibiotic (ivermectine is classified as a broad spectrum antibiotic).

If systemic ivermectine and/or topical permethrin does not do the job, you clearly need to consider an other class therapeutic molecule.

However,

All is about disrupting cell on a molecular level, and any type disruption should be selective.

Treating this cell line, and not the other!

(Otherwise you could use the most toxic components without any adverse effect on native body cell)

Because of this fact; the only way to understand how to treat your condition effectively is by having proper microbiological research performed plus susceptibility testing.

Has your doctor done this, or is the attending medic trying to make you believe that it is not his/or her job to put down a diagnosis based on performing proper (standard) microbiological research?

Are doctors bioterrorists?

I am now cured... it was a horrible two months.. thanks to this site.
I started with Durbac [Malathion]from local chemist did not work , and went to Dr. who did not beleive I had scabies.
I purchased Bonzyl benzoate and when i used it my skin improved... inbetween using i used natural stuff Tee tree ... Sulphur cream Neem cream plus taking parasite herbs and detox diet and liver flush.
the cure came when 1. I moved into another bed room, dusted both sides of my matress and floors with Diamacious Earth. Also all the sitting room and kitchen.
Bathed twice a day in Borax Epsom salts and Hydrogen Peroxide, plus rubbing borax on skin for a scrubb. Took 1 tablet 3mg Ivermectin and one week later 2 tabs. crashed my car and wrote it off so I didnt have to worry about reinfestation from that. Took my dog for a swim in the sea every day and brushed her fur with solution of flee stuff. oh yes they did go up into my hair so when I put on the Benzyl I put the Durbac on my hair, at the same time.
I hated taking chemical stuff, but hated Scabies more, I got sick and tiered of washing clothes and sheets everyday but never gave up on trying it felt like a war and very lonely because no one could visit.
What I really want to say is I feel so much for you who have Scabies just do not give up. My LOVE goes out to you. keep reading this site and keep going until you win.

Thanks for the encouragement and for sharing what has worked for you. I've been having quite an amazing success using thyme oil in the last two days, full strength where my skin can handle it and mixed with avocado oil on tender areas. Scabs are drying up and falling off. Highly recommended if you want to try it. I got the thyme oil at a health food store. Of course you can use any oil but I read that avocado oil is a good carrier oil. I got mine from the grocery store in the oils section.

After almost 4 months of trying EVERYTHING to get rid of scabies on myself, my daughter, and my grandson this is what worked. About 5 capfuls of bleach in the bath water! I then kept a pan full of the bleach/water solution and dabbed it on anyplace that itched during the day. The solution was milder for my grandson but after going through hell and pretty much being house bound that's what finally worked for us. Luckily, our furniture is leather so I could just wipe it down. We stayed out of the cars for 4 days, did a ton of laundry, and bagged up anything we didn't want to throw out or couldn't go through the wash. The dogs got bathed with Dawn dish liquid. I found this solution at about 3 a.m. just going through anything I could find. It was posted by a nurse who had worked in a nursing home for 13 yrs. Good luck to everyone!!

At then end of Oct, I went to DR and got prescription for IVERMECTIN (two doses) and also got a tube of PERM. I was also using tea tree oil, but i developed a horrible sensitivity to it and broke out everywhere w/ the most intense awful red rash all over my arms, legs, and chest. I would get up in the middle of the night to take hot baths cause the itch was so severe i could not sleep. The itch (and maybe this was from the initial kill-off) was EXTREME and lasted for more than a month. It was so bad I thought I would have to quit my job. Also, after initial treatment with IVER/PERM and tea tree oil, the mite bites spread all over my body.... So after about a month I was still covered in bites and getting new ones so I started taking IVER horse paste about once a week. Some of the bites starting healing but I still had probably more than 100, on legs, arms, butt, back... even some bit me on the face (those went away quickly), and went up onto my scalp. Right after Christmas I started using sulfur soap twice a day and sulfur ointment. This did seem to help dry up some of the bite marks. Finally in March (one week ago), I found the borax/peroxide information online and starting taking 1 bath a day, and also applying topical solution directly on the sores about twice a day. This is FINALLY WORKING! The bites are finally drying up completely and going away! The wounds now look like tiny craters, but are open and flat. I have been Borax/peroxide externally for only 1 week but this is the FIRST TIME i have seen any major improvement. I am going to quit taking the IVER horse paste, and just continue w/ Borax/Peroxide until all the marks fade. The Borax is really not that bad for your skin. Might be a little dry, but it does not make you itch. I am hoping all bites are healed within the next few weeks.... and maybe just maybe i'll be able to wear shorts this year!

Hi

Glad to hear you are better, keep at it

also dry baking soda used like carpet fresh rubbed into apolstry stops bugs that atre on surfaces the cant be washed with water easily
Also after a bath in 1 cup borax for 20 -30 mins I drain tub and refill half way and add 2 tbls coconut oil and slosh around , it suffocates bugs and leaves a protective film on the skin and hair wich resists future bites .

God bless you , He is the healer pray hard to Him He is Wonderful ,
