I try to avoid that area but if it absorbs a little, it should help his teething:). Thinking of adding DE to my arsenal. I already bought it and haven't touched it! Anxious to be FREE! I hate how these bugs consume your every thought. Bite, scratch, clean, clean, oil, bath etc...

Btw... Me Too? Is it helping? I think I felt a set back today... I feel great after showering and applying oil... Then eventually the itches come back. I think I may get reinfected in my the car and car seats to my kids and to me! Gosh this scabies is so much work! As if I weren't already busy. This is why I am thinking of adding the DE to my oil. There is a discussion with Vann using DE. What do you think?

Clove oil is a poison used to euthanize fish and can kill you too if you ingest even a tiny bit of it, please do the research before spreading poison on your bodies.

Breastfeeding mom, I would never never never be using those things such as clove oil, MSM and rosemary while breastfeeding a baby. Everything you do and use on yourself goes into that breastmilk.

No wonder he is howling all the time, he is being POISONED!!!

USING CLOVE OIL ON THE SKIN IN ANY FORM AT ANY TIME, YOU MUST NOT USE MORE THAN 1% CLOVE OIL!!!

USING 25% CLOVE OIL ADDED TO OTHER OILS WILL KILL YOU OR PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR SKIN, RUIN THE NERVES IN YOUR SKIN, OR OTHER DAMAGES.

IT IS NOT RECCOMENDED FOR PREGNANT OR LACTATING WOMEN!!!!

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE MY FRIENDS, DO NOT DAMAGE YOUR YOUNG BREASTFED BABIES BY USING HERBS AND COMPOUNDS THAT ARE POISONOUS!!!!

AGAIN, THIS STRESSES THAT ONLY 1% CLOVE OIL IN A CARRIER OIL SHOULD BE USED ON SKIN. IF YOU USE MORE THAN THAT IN A CARRIER OIL THEN WATCH OUT FOR POISINING OR PERMANENT SKIN DAMAGE,

1% IS ONE DROP OF CLOVE OIL IN 99 DROPS OF ANOTHER OIL SUCH AS VEGETABLE OR OLIVE OIL.

CAN YOU SEE HOW LITTLE CLOVE OIL YOU SHOULD USE (if you insist on using it and if you are not breastfeeding or pregnant) TO BE SAFE!!!????

Yes bitey is right. I thought clove oil was a natural cure with no side effects but there are side effects especcially if it's undiluted. I used clove oil to cure me and while I think 4 oz may be good for the first week or two I think once it becomes manageable 1% clove oil in a carrier oil should be used on skin as that is safer. Definitely don't get it in your eyes even if it means washing your hands but put vegetable oil on your eyes if you do. Check out side effects of clove oil on your search engine not to scare you but so that you understand the differences between undiluted and diluted clove oil and natural effects. It was beneficial for me but knowing what I know now I would have been grateful had I read the precautions. DON'T USE IT IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING! That is one thing I learned after doing this search. Clove oil did work for me but I learned the side effects after using clove oil to cure me. BE SAFER THAN THAT. I apologize to anyone who followed my advice to just use clove oil without looking at the side effects.

From my experience, clove oil numbs and gives temporary relief....but doesn't kill the eggs again.

My scabies are probably one of a kind. They have been with me for years, so it is a personal battle between them and me. The rest of you probably have gone through the same thing as me. Your scabies are reacting to your assault! Your scabies have developed a resistance to whatever you have used. It definitely is a personal battle! Use something they don't know. Catch them off guard!

Thanks for the info. As I said, my shampoo contains neem, MSM, and rosemary and it is shampoo. I diluted 1/4 oz Clove oil to 4 oz of grapseed oil. This is not 25%. In fact it is 25% of 25%. Also my baby has been soo much happier. I did say that I avoid that area meaning my breasts. I have noticed so much a difference that I will continue using the oil for the rest of the week and I think we will be done with the matter altogether!(crossed fingers). I would say the toxicity would seem to be less than permethrin which didn't work and has many side effects also. I did test us for sensitivity to the oil and have not noticed any redness or irritation. I have noticed I hardly had any activity on my skin today. Creepy crawlies were almost non existent . Bites were down too.

Hi breastfeedingmom,
The clove oil is VERY beneficial to me. I was totally cured using clove oil, ivermectin and DE. I stayed mite free for 5 months, until I visited with family that was infected. I didn't know they had it, and I don't think it bothered them. Everyone in my family, that has the marks on their skin, say that it doesn't itch or even bother them.
Anyways, I'm using clove again and I am almost mite free once again. I noticed that when I use it straight, on an area that has a rash, if I rub it in for a while, a white sticky substance comes out of my skin. It looks almost like white glue. I believe the clove oil dissolves the mite junk, either the eggs or the mites or the sticky glue that they cement their eggs to our skin with. I also have prayed and asked God for wisdom concerning this disease so that we can be cured. He gave me the clove oil information on my thread "Recent Clinical Study Proves Clove Oil Effective". He has given me a new weapon. If you care to, go read about the Citricidal that I posted about. The Citricidal (used correctly) removes tons of "stuff" from my skin.
Just wanted to tell you that ever since I saw your name (bfm) my heart was broken for you. I am a mother, now grandmother. I know about holding our babies against our skin. I started praying for you a long time ago, and I still do when you cross my mind.

You guys can rub POISON all over your bodies if you want to!

I am just saying to do research before you use anything. Expecially since everything you rub on ANY PART of your body can affect YOUR breast milk which goes into a precious baby's system.

You do not have to put the clove oil near the baby's mouth to transmit the poison to him, you can rub it on any part of your body and it will be carried in the skin to the blood and organs right smack into the breast milk.

Poison yourselves if you want to but, please:

Be smart, people. Do not accidently poison your young!!!!

Well just how do you think these mites will die if you don't poison them? It is unfortunate that he has bugs biting or were biting him. I had a doctor call in a script for ivermectin but did not fill it. Do you like that poison more? Or do you like permethrin? Lindane? I have things to do. How long have you had these mites? I am so glad they are almost gone. You can sit there afraid of poison all you want. We are almost cured.

Clove Oil is very beneficial to our health! According to the YoungLiving essential oil site, Clove is the highest scoring single ingredient on the ORAC scale....and yes it does advise you to dilute it. I, however, use it straight on my skin,...but I would NEVER advise that for a baby, which breastfeedingmom does not use it straight on her baby either.
God gave us natural cures for everything. Clove is an excellent antioxidant, and it enhances our immune system greatly.
It breaks my heart to think a mother cannot hold her baby without fear of transfering this demonic mite! I prayed and asked God for wisdom and understanding. So far He has given me things that have worked! Clove Oil, Citricidal, Ivermectin, and DE. Thank you Father!

Yes and thank you for sharing! Your post was the first I read and then others confirming that your information helped cure them also. The next day I loaded up my kids and told them excitedly, we are going to get the cure. My son wasn't so sure after trying so many things. I told him that this time I think it's for sure! I will look for the citricidal but I think I just like the information on the website for a multiple uses. Seems like a good product. I am on my 4th day with Clove oil and I feel great!!! I have felt NOTHING all day. NOT ONE BITE. No creepy crawlies. NOTHING. I glad you took the time to think of others. My children appreciate it too.

You are more than welcomed. Just be patient. It is not an instant cure,..BUT IT IS DEFINITE! Clove Oil, Ivermectin, and DE.
The Ivermectin is not for children under 35 lbs. It is great for those who weigh more than 35 lbs. It does not cross the blood brain barrier. It takes time with Ivermectin also, and I took it almost daily.(If not daily at times)
I used all these products for weeks before I was 100% sure that I was mite free! I didn't have anyone else to treat except for myself.
I thank God for the natural cures He gave us.
Be patient, and you must stay on top of this every single day. There is no place for rest until all mites are destroyed.
When I had sores on my legs from the infestation, I also soaked in the tub with a little clorox added to help keep down secondary infection. I used about 1/2 cup clorox to 6 inches of tub water.
My number one weapon is prayer. This war takes much time and effort,...but I promise you I was completely cured using the method I described in detail on my thread.
My goal is to give hope to others. THERE IS HOPE! THIS MITE CAN BE BEAT! I DID IT WITH GOD'S HELP!...AND YOU CAN TOO!
