Congratulations! I hope you continue to be scabies free. Personally, I had all the symptoms for two years, and finally this summer it went away, except for a few pick-pricks, tingles, etc., which I still get from time to time. I concluded that (despite having all the symptoms except track marks), it wasn't scabies after all. It was possibly something connected with my nervous system, something as yet unknown, which was systemic and caused spots on the skin, crawling sensations, etc. So, if there are people out there with a similar condition whatever I had, they might find some benefit from clove oil. It's used to fight toothache because it has an effect on nerve endings. That's how it dulls the pain. If a person's nerve endings are firing off at random (simulating some kind of parasite), then something like clove oil might be useful. Best of luck with beating the scabies. I hope it's truly over for you and you can have your life back!

I don't mean to frighten you, but have you looked at the Morgellons forums? I thought I had scabies until I did more research..Best of luck. All sulfer products can be found at WAlMart or dollar stores, Sulfer 8, also St. Ives Olive leaf facial cleanser and the peppermint epsom salts, cleaners, anything with mint helps.

Hate to burst your bubble (glad you're no longer suffering), but clove oil is an anti-parasitic. You can't generalize when most of us here have been suffering in terms of years, and most of us have things crawling out of our skin that we can see with our own two eyes, and feel between our fingertips. Unfortunately, that means that it is not nerve-endings nor our imagination since no one here is suffering from psychoses. We are being attacked and this is our only help, each other.

Nissan, can you tell us how much close oil you were using and how much grapeseed oil you were using so that we can get the combination right?

Also, can you advise what you were doing to clean up your environment? This whole thing has gotten me overwhelmed because I am attacked both at home and at work.

*I generally mix about 1/4 oz to about 12oz grapeseed oil
after a hot shower rub entire body at least once a day twice is better.
* wash clothes 1/2 cup borax and bed sheets 3 times week
* spray computer keyboard and sitting areas with windex daily
* take oral garlic ( helps drive them out)and lysine ( helps skin heal faster) pills daily.
* occasionaly (1 week)i would also mix borox with peroxide and water dump on yourself after hot shower, allow to air dry.

oh BTW for others that replied...i know what fing scabbies are when they crawl out of your skin after rubbing with oil!

I was diagnosed with Scabies 2 weeks ago, I did the prem cream and cleaned every thing in my house and still managed to get infested (have a feeling my cats are walking around with the mites in there fur and when they rub on me they give them back to me). I did however do a test of various oils to see what would work too, I put clove oil on my chest, it worked great!!! this is the only part of my body that is not covered in red welts now. I'm going to do another prem treatment tonight (after the cats & dog get a treatment of revolution) than use clove oil moving forward. The prem probably would have worked fine the first time if it wasn't for my cats wander around the house with mites in there fur. BTW- The mites that cause mange in cat & dogs is different that human scabies. They can not get human scabies, however unless they are hairless they act just like carpets and couches and can wonder all over your house leaving mites for you to pick up. I'll let you know how the clove oil works, please share more if you have had success with clove oil.

i've had scabies for about 7 months. everyone else in the household is scabies free, it's just me. i've tried permethrin - 7 days in a row. AFter treatment i'm clear for about 1 month and then i get a huge outbreak on my arms and back. my doctor says that scabies are a bit like head lice - becoming immune to treatments.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have tried the cream 3 times and still wasn't cured! I did everything I could including putting the cream on my 3 kids and went camping. The clove oil is working and I saw it working within minutes. It looks like a black hair comes to the surface. I know I don't have black hairs growing out of my wrist! Please try this anyone who is suffering!!!! Thank you to the people who posted this. Also there is research backing up what they say! It is easy. Didn't burn or sting me at all! I used 1/4 oz pure clove oil to 4oz grapeseed oil. It feels nourishing and I don't think it stinks at all but would have been willing to stink! I tried permethrin, neem oil, tto, sulfur 8, dandruff shampoo, sulfur soap, not to mention the sleepless nights cleaning and worrying!!! I have 2 babies that need to be held and they have been miserable too!

The clove oil cures the itching as it numbs everything....it is used for toothaches. I have used it and it seems as though everything gets better, but the moment I put on a permethrin cream, they all wake up!I hope things get better with it and it cures scabies too!!!

It does feel better! Like my skin got quiet for the first time in a long time! I also bath with grandpa's thylox soap with 3% sulfur and Jason's dandruff shampoo with neem, MSM, and rosemary. I am definitely seeing a big difference! As a added benefit, my face is so clear using the sulfur soap on my face;). My two babies are sleeping so good tonight! Very excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Scabies can shake your life up more than you ever imagined! It was truly a nightmare for me. I breastfeed my baby and he would constantly writhe in discomfort, while my 2 yr. old never understood don't touch or stay off. My whole life became treating scabies! I think I will sleep well tonight. Soon I will dig into my quarantined bags and sit on my sofa again. Who knows I may not have to wash my sheets for a day! Hang in there to everyone dealing with this. I highly recommend getting some clove oil mixed with grapeseed oil!!!
