I decided to make a list of things needed to battle these things and the many mistakes I made before. To help others. The Army always taught me to share info and to work as a team. I will not put on this list of VET MEDS..Dont feel right about that as we are already taking a huge chance as it is.

First thing first make sure you get all the stuff you need before trying to cure yourself. I notice when you do a little here and there and its not working. HMM it is a waste of time. So yes a little suffering goes with it.

1. Permethrin creme 5%
2. Benzemul Application
3. IVERMECTIN ORAL Pills Front line against scabies. You will want to do this at the same time with Perm treatment. Or you can alternate take Iver in morning and next day do perm. ECT.
4. Eurax from what I researched it's ineffective with a 50% failure rate. I heard it calms the itching down.
5. LINDANE Last resort medication as it can mess your nervous system with this so I call it the "Broken Arrow." IF ALL ELSE FAILS Use this in case of emergency.
6 . Rubbing Alcohol - I use this to rub off the surface mights and it does come off with paper towel and rubbing alcohol.
7. Peroxide for infections.
8. Antiboitics if you have infections.
9.Tetmosol soap medicated, this used in hospitals to prevent scabies. Very useful soap as it does not dry up skin feels good and I use this instead of regular soap for showering.
10. BORAX definately get this detergent to clean your clothes bedding sheets and so on. Also Borax your floors.

11. Plastic Mattress covers and pillow covers
(Thanks Mary) Just wipe off after you get out of bed. I use lysol Wipes to cleen off the cover.

I cant think of anything else but feel free to add to the list and we can revise this. For the new people who comes on here. So they dont make the mistake we made.

12. Many pairs of cleaning gloves, don't forget to wash them inside out before reusing.

13. New unexposed make-up and shower utensils, brushes, combs.

14. Jewelry cleaner.

15. Foot scrubbers, flip flops, sand-paper, nail files.

16. If feet really a problem, new un-exposed shoes and may want to consider socks.

17. Many plastic bags, ziploc baggies, trash bags, bags, bags, bags.

18. Benzyl Benzoate 1 gal. Don not plan to use in every load, every day. Initially yes, maintainence after with borax.

19. Cleaning rags designated only for cleaning. use only once, will need many. I have a designated basket.

20. Spray bottles and lots of them. It would seem I never have enough.

21. Liquid pump soap not bars.

22. Stock up on laundry detergent, bleach, borax, fabric softener.

A vinyl blow up bed (without the velor).

Wash pillows once a week in scalding hot water. Also, wash the vinyl pillow covers in hot water, light cycle.

Disposable latex or plastic gloves.

Paper towels

White sheets, pillow cases and towels that can be bleached. Or old sheets and towels that will be tossed out later anyway.

If you are in Canada, where I can't find Borax anywhere. In fact I contacted Loeblaws and they said they don't stock it here anymore. What could be used as a replacement for floors?

Instead of Borax, get the large boxes of Arm-n-Hammer Baking Soda, not the small refrig. kind.

Sentry Natural Defense flea and tick powder on carpets.

Feed Store Martin's permethrin 10% mixed with alcohol can be used as a carpet spray. Martins's permethrin without a PBO degrades over time so it has to be resprayed every few days. Avoid using permethrin with petroleum distillates, they shouldn't be used in the house or on the body.

Sam suggests Raid in the Blue box. If I recall correctly...12.5% permethrin
