I was diagnosed with it last week and treated myself with the cream perscribed....it has been about 4 days since treatment and I cleaned my house, steam cleaned my couch and chair and bed. My girls dont have any signs, but maybe I should have done their beds too since they sometimes sleep with me....I have washed all my clothes that werent clean at the time in hot water and the homemade laundry soap I have made with borax.....but now I am back to itching worse then ever...the doc said I would continue to itch, but I think I have new bites...I think I will try to get the stuff and make the alk, borax, and glycerin and make that....would it be safe for my kids too??? they are 2 and 4. I guess maybe I need to go through again and clean thoroughly again....so tired of all this!!!!!! what kind of glycerin do you get?? the soap bar? or is there a powder or liquid? thanks for the help...anyone with advice can email me at [email protected] Thanks again!
Everything mentioned here helps. The windex/ammonia mix is great to get the ones near the surface, making them appear on the surface, but it doesn't have staying power. Obviously it's really strong powerful. Considering that it's really hard on the lungs, it likely isn't good to use on children although you could water it down. Since it doesn't stick around, something like the glycerin/alka seltzer/borax is good for in-between, and it likely wouldn't bother children's tender skin. It is sticky though and bothersome from that standpoint. If you're not allergic to sulfur, any of the sulfur products is effective as an add-on. Anything you can do in addition to the usual protocol, such as see on the above posts, would help. It's not one thing, but a combination that's going to finally get rid of them.

Don't give up. Keep doing your laundry. Spray your carpets, automobiles and furniture. By being diligent they will give up. I even ordered sulfur soap (from China) from ebay for less than $4.00 and it took my post scabie rash down in one day.(I left the soap suds on my skin and didn't rinse off) Hang in there.

The way to clear them out of your eye and ears and hair and anywhere else safely well safer than spraying Windex in you eye is ivermectin 1.87% take 750 pound dose every other day for a week and they should be all cleared of those areas an pretty much everywhere elsee too. Ivermectin leak out though your pours. It takes 12 days for one dose to completely leave the body the Langoliers feed oops I mean Scabies same all same feed on the membrain just beneath the skin cream and such have a real hard time getting that deep all over you body. Let your body put the poison where the bugs are its much better at it.

Quite Amazing! I think i am almost there i still feel crawling and pinpricks but for some reason I had a mix of amonia and windex ( don't ask me how the hell I thought of it - it just came to me) and I had the stupid idea of spraying on my skin where it was crawling and stop doing it? So i will continue to spray until these last crawlings are gone! Mites are from hell no joke.

It is good to put shoes and bags wallets brushes make up whatever you use in the freezer everyday for more than 12 hours lets say. That will help a lot.

Just thought I'd tell you what we do. We add 1 cup of ammonia, a scoop of OxyClean laundry powder, 1/2 cup of borax and some detergent. Nothing is alive by the time it comes out of that!
I want to let you knowthat for a very long time now ..
I have been using Costco's powdered laundry detergent
(in the big bucket)
I use one cup of that and add 1/2 to one cup of Pinesol.
I try to re set the washing cycle to go another 12 minutes
always with very hot water.
Most of the time I rinse my laundry in cold water before ever
washing and I rinse it again in cold water after the long wash.
I do not have any problems of re-infestation from cloths that way.
I am also very careful of not letting my cleaned cloths touch anything that has not not been disinfected while folding and putting away. I am still using covered clear containers for most
ofthe cloths that I wear a lot.
Although, when this first began for me .. I emptied every drawer and closet. I cleaned the dresser drawers, after vacuming every side .. with straight windex, then with Pinesol ..
and left them empty for many months.
I only recently unbagged a few more things and started to use the drawers again .. but I put the cloths in clear bags which are put into of those drawers.
Paranoid? > YOU BET.
My hands were ripped apart more than once when cleaning out drawers and storage areas.
I swear there was also a small moth of some kind that had infested everything. It's beige. It looks like a 1/8 inch or so stick, when not flying .. it is very thin, one wing is shorter than the other.
I have used Fuller Brush moth cakes .. replacing them several times now .. that product is very good. < be sure to keep the closet doors shut!
Hope this helps someone.
Take care.

Tea tree oil will assist in keeping your skin clean from fungus and bacteria and help with the itch.

Tea tree will help minimse demodex mites in your scalp, body and face. For some reason demodex population explodes in your hair, body and eyelashes/face after you treat with reg scabies medicine, often being thought of as scabies.

Spray tea tree mix with water on your face and in hair. Use tea tree shampoo for a while too, helps with fungus in the scalp especially.

You can mix with your moisturiser or add to a spritzer bottle with water. 20 drops for 400ml to start on your body.

You need to use a variety of oils in combination over a few weeks. Each oil targets specific things and is good to use in between scabies treatments. For resistant scabies you need higher dosages of oils for a little longer.

Iver is doc prescribed in most countries although if you use feed store iver it has to be 100 percent only. Scabies will be quickly resistant to iver so best get the best advice, correct dosages. use reg scabies treatment first then iver to clean everything out.

having spray oils will help alongside scabicides.

Remember scabies have a cycle, keep up treatments because then the cycle will eventually have to end. Depending on your level of infection one application of anything will not work until the cycle is smashed. After that it's a slow process of having your skin go back to normal for some. depends on your age and immunity condition.

I use the natural enzyme cleanser on my skin. I take two shower a day and then put the Kleen Green on my skin and they have been off my body for the most part since April. But they are still in my hair, face, go in my ears and nose even. I just read the above post saying this is what they do once you take the meds for scabies. I was on Albendazole for 5 months, I'm going to try Ivermectin now because it does not let them travel. The Albendazole is same as doing a no sugar, no carb diet, it simply tries to stop the glucose from getting to the bugs, whereas Ivermectin attacks their nervous system everywhere they are so they can't simply move from the body to the head and face.

Had I known what to do or if there were doctors making up protocols for these things, treating it, I would have taken Albendazole with Ivermectin the first month before my body got weakened from all the toxic stuff I have been taking and putting on my head.

I wonder if it is Morgellons at this point. I haven't gotten one day in months where the bugs are not hatching on my face and head all day and night, and nothing makes it stop. I can put Permetherin cream on my head for 48 hours, or Derbac-M and all I get is maybe 3 hours bug free on my scalp and it all starts again. Same with rubbing a lime on my head, works for 2 hours, they hatch again.

Anyway, now I am doing a no sugar, no carb diet, taking silver supplement, natural supplements that are the treatment for Morgellons and I'm going to take Ivermectin too.

But as far as your skin, you don't have to put toxic stuff on your skin to make them die on your skin. There are two brands of natural enzyme cleansers - you can find them in Amazon and look at the reviews of them, one is Clean Free and one is Kleen Green. You can also use it to take a bath, it gets them to come out and die same as Epson salts, and you can leave it on your skin, it's natural. I have no bites or rash on my skin and my skin is soft and looks like glass. If I do have Morgellons then Kleen Green has done one hell of a job keeping the bugs off of my skin and the company doesn't even claim it is for Morgellons, they say it is for scabies.

Anyway give it a try because if you are taking meds and putting pesticide cream on and using pesticides like bug bombs, etc, it is all so toxic that the last thing you need is to put amonia and Windex on your skin. We could all end up with cancer from all the toxic stuff we are doing to try to kill off the bugs.

Jennifer you know less about any of this than any inanimate object a person could choose. You posted you figured out you had morgellons two days ago and now you are an expert.

Most of what you post is nonsense and the rest is some dumb sales pitch.

they have been off my body since April. You see people dumping chemicals all over themselves and someone speaks up and tells them a good solution that is not toxic and all you people do is abuse them. All you are doing is copying and pasting crap from other people, things they researched, their protocols, things they write and pretending you are the one who created them. Imagine anyone putting Windex or bleach on their freaking skin for Christ's sake. Imagine. These people will get yeast infections in their skin, burn their skin, get cancer from doing that stuff.
Here I gave them two different brands of the stuff and all they want to post is I'm selling one brand of something, cruel idiotic crap. Let them all dump Windex on themselves, no point in trying to help anyone, all they do is harm you.

And by the way, I tried the Tea Tree oil on my hair and face and it worked. This is why I come in here, to get help. The trick is you can't mix it with another oil, put it on the mites on your face and head with water or water with the enzyeme cleaner, IT WORKED. After 4 months of bugs on my head and face, using 20 tubes of Permetherin Cream, Derbac-M, on and on, it worked today.

I have no clue if I have scabies or Morgellons because doctors do not treat this stuff, they have no clue and no answers for it. Who knows how many of us has scabies and how many have Morgellons, who knows. The treatments are almost identical, the meds, the diet, the sulfur soap, all of it. All I know is the Albendazole got them off by body but not my head nor scalp, I came in here and read a post that said this is the case for many people and to use tea tree, and so I did, and it works. All I care is they go away, so I will treat it as if it is both, and it could very well be. If scabies or mites gives you Lyme Disease and then you get Morgellons from Lyme Disease, a whole lot of people may very well have both which is why they are so hard to get rid of, and, again, doctors do NOTHING about it so no one knows what they really have.
