I have been taking the injectable ivermectin once every 3 days for about a month. Squirting it in a glass of water at bedtime, makes me sleepy. Lately, I've noticed an increase in activity i.e., drilling, popping sensations in my skin as well as more skin rashes. Does anyone know what this means? For anyone who has used this, could you please share your experience and what symptoms if any did you get from it? Also, I have a rash on both sides of my neck and this area is super sensitive. Does anyone have suggestions on what to use for relief?

I welcome your comments but please stay on topic.

It must really bother you that you have itty bitty mites that actually drill and pop in your skin. What size drill do they use?? Does it sound like a balloon popping?

Listen A***hole, this is not Fred. The reason I'm posting this question AGAIN is because this keeps happening over and over again. I need ANSWERS from people who experienced this not your SARCASM. Stay off this thread!

You wont get any answers because the trolls on this forum are only interested in,

Albendazole
Sulphur soap
Cedarcide and DE

I spoke with you in length about ivermectin in other threads.

To answer your question, it appears, from what you explain here, is that the ivermectin is not working for you.

But keep in mind that you are a troll here....

And you cant be helped.

STOP ALL TREATMENT NOW AND REEVALATE YOUR SITUATION.

Hollywood FL is succeeding at getting a rise out of you. Stop being so easily jolted. I'm no MD but it sounds like the popping and rash is the injectable ivermectin killing the mites and their rotting corpses in your skin are releasing bacteria that will go from a pink red rash to purple bruises as your body tries to rid itself of bad bacteria. Are you having flu-like symptoms aka Herx Reaction?

That could very well be the understatement of the year!

Good thing you have a cousin that is a veterinarian receptionist.

omygosh, I'm so sorry, vtitchy, that your misfortune is being exacerbated by the crude and uneducated troll.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Ivermectin is a safe drug when not overused, but there's always the possibility of the unforeseen.

I'm curious if you were using anything else with iver, a topical or a systemic. Were you using sulphur and perhaps turpentine?

I wish you a speedy recovery. Please let us know how you fare... and ignore the nutcase in florida.

You are an idiot Fred. It doesn't cause purple bruises. What it does is kill the adult mites which are laying a few eggs every single day in your body. It does not cause popping or anything else you guys are saying here. You want to discredit this med because you are in the business of home remedies which don't work with a resistant strain of scabies. So, go on and sell your Lilly of the whatever aloe vera gel. It doesn't cure!!
It's a good thing you are no MD Fred. Thank God for that!!

I have been taking oral ivermectin with grapefruit juice. Problem is, the liver filters out the medicine. If you are taking 2ml for 220 lbs, your live is extracting an unknown amount.

The injections deliver a full dosage into the blood stream and into the skin. SO should I inject, NO! I mean I don't know how to inject myself! Eventually I may learn, that is my nuclear option!

I started taking ivermectin enemas. This is a method used for transplant patients (i.e. heart transplant) because they frequently get parasitic infections due to anti-rejection drugs. Via enema the drug is absorbed into the system directly, no pesky kidney filtering.

I mix about 1/4 filtered water with a dose for my weight (2ml) and using a well rinsed small plastic bottle, in it goes. I then do a yoga pose elevating my derriere above my torso and resisting the urge to go to the bathroom. In about 2-3 minutes the liquid assimilates. A side effect for me is I get hungry and eat more. I am also taking pro-biotics because I may be displacing digestive organisms.

I'm going to post my plan, and hopefully you can get some ideas from it.

Remember you are not me, so some treatments that work for me may give you pain, or even death. A good tip is to have someone be ready to take you to the hospital if you have a reaction.

Good luck.

I am treating scabies with a six sigma approach and I believe the solution is to find the right cocktail of ingredients plus completely eliminating their presence in the environment.

1) Blow-up inflatable bed, plastic (toss your bed!) spray it with permetherin daily, hose it off every 2 days
2) Bedding gets baked at 250F in the oven for 20 minutes Ė daily. I lined the bottom tray of my oven with alunimum foil, and be sure nothing touches the element or sides. Things get hot, all the way through, even stacks of clothing. This is a great thing, and is hotter than the dryer.
3) Vacuum and throw away the bag every 2 days (spray vacuum with permetherin after use)
4) Cover lazy boy chair with sheet, bake the sheet every day at 250F, spray chair with permetherin
5) Bake dirty clothes before hamper and shoes at 250F daily 20 minutes. Kill everything BEFORE the clothes washer and dryer! Better for your septic tank (no pesticides down the drain). Donítí let mites fester in a clothes hamper and spray it with permetherin! Donít get involved with special detergents! Just turn on your oven and bake!
6) Development a treatment regimen
1) Topical - leave this stuff on, don't shower!
a) All over body, permetherin, benzyl benzoate (careful! Sensitive areas will burn and irritate around face groin, bottom, armpits, neck!), frontline plus, pool clorine baths (I bought a snorkel and swimming goggles so I could soak in the CL water, I am considering getting a large kiddy pool in my living room and I may mix in permetherin as well, cover it with a tarp and use it daily), ivermectin
b) Spot treatments Perm, Benz, frontline plus, Cl baths, itchthammol, ivermectin
2) Internal treatments
a) Oral ivermectin 2ml mix with grapefruit juice (see body weight chart)
*b) Enema ivermectin 1ml (2ml with no oral dosage - 1ml is to compensate for kidney losses from oral)

*I have been taking oral ivermectin with grapefruit juice (supposed to help pass the liver). Problem is, the liver filters out the medicine. If you are taking 2ml for 220 lbs, your liver is extracting an unknown amount. The oral ivermectin never deliver a full dosage into the blood stream and into the skin.

SO should I inject, NO! I mean I don't know how to inject myself! Eventually I may learn, that is my nuclear option!

I started taking ivermectin enemas. This is a method used for transplant patients (i.e. heart and organ transplant) because they frequently get parasitic infections due to anti-rejection drugs. Via enema the drug is absorbed into the system directly, no pesky kidney filtering. I mix about 1/4 filtered water with a dose for my weight (2ml) and using a well rinsed small plastic bottle with Vaseline on the topper, in it goes the bum with a squeeze. I then do a yoga pose elevating my derriere above my torso and resisting the urge to go to the bathroom. In about 2-3 minutes the liquid assimilates. A side effect, for me, is I get hungrier. I am also taking pro-biotics because I may be displacing digestive organisms.

7) House
1) Treatments
a) Insect foggers (initially and maybe as a regimen)
b) Sulfur candles i.e. Sulfur Dioxide gas every 2 days.(I had to make these, I use soy wax because itís easy, beeswax takes higher temperatures. Look for directions on the web. One tip, soy wax is light, so mix the wax several times in the wax candle while itís in the freezer or the sulfur will settle. Soy wax is easy to clean up after and I made 3-16oz candles in an hour)
*c) Treat driveway with hand pump sprayer Cl and perm mix weekly
*Cattle cross my long driveway and I run over their pies sometimes. I spray the drive with a mixture of bleach and permetherin weekly via a hand held pump sprayer. Poor VA dirt farmers apparently don't treat their livestock.
8) Car
*1) Permetherin spray
2) Sulfur candles daily

People need to understand they are at war with a strong enemy.

Do what you need to do to win this war.

I took only one tiny ivermectin pill, blisters developed head to toe next day. Had used permethrin a few days earlier. It is a rare reaction but truly dreadful. I am told it may reoccur for five years.

No such thing as taking one stromextol pill.

It is presribed by weight. For a normal 130 pound person you would need at least four of the 3 mg. Tablets.

You dont get blisters from iver.

What you are doing on this forum is to get people to buy the things on the net that dobt really cure.

You are trying to discredit ivermectin.

To "I Want My Life Back: I too had bad side effects from the ivermectin! Not the first or second time but this last time, I did suffer-still am! It gave me a horrible neck pain and shoulder cramps-it drove me insane and went to emergency at 11:00 pm! They were no help. Gave me I dose of Perm, no refills and 6 percocets I did not want. I also have a severe red rash from it. No matter what I use they do not kills these bastards. I spray, I vacuum , I scrub, and steam with no results. I think I also have a bacterial infection on top of this rash. I'm HIV+ and that's the excuse the doctors use. I'm going to a different hospital and see what they suggest. The fungus topical did not work, so I'm positive it's a rash from those pills. My neck was stiff for a week. I think I need a IV. My legs are swollen too. I'm a mess. I did not no ivermectin came in injectabls! Where did u get that? You didn't get a stiff neck? And when I see ppl bathing in borex, do they mean the borex you wash clothes in? Does it come in liquid form? I will post again after seeing another doctor. I read a lot of ppl bought their own permithrin by the gallon and mixed it with lotion, did this for two weeks and they were gone! Jersey Girl
