Okay, so I have read millions of posts on this forum and these are my questions.
1. So if I leave my house and don't wash anything and go on "vacation," how many days would I need to leave for everything to be truly dead??(I would rather wash clothing when I get back, bug-free)
I read 24-72 hours is as long as a mite can live with no one around in the house. So could I leave for 4 days and be fine???? Or is there something else I don't know?
2. Eggs? Why do you guys talk about them like they are external and can be in clothing? Don't eggs ONLY live INSIDE your skin?
3. How do you get clean laundry if you are washing clothing with bugs in your skin?
If I go to the mat, clean clothes, then come home and apply lotion, won't my clothes have bugs from when I last touched them?
How do you do this step?
4. Does the doctor give you enough cream to treat your family?
5. How many times do you need to use the cream, and on which day do you apply it for the second time? Answers seem to vary, help!
6. Should you be changing sheets daily AFTER using the cream? If so, for how long?
7. I have furniture I haven't touched for a week. Is it cool if I don't clean it?
8. Can mites blow in the air and go in strange places in your house?
9. Tea tree oil. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/577232_4
Does it need to be combined with that stuff to work?
10. Could you substitute Tea Tree oil for doctor meds and treat body 3 times a week or ?
11. What additional things kill Scabies?
Chlorine?
Vinegar?
Garlic?
thanks for your help!
p.s.
Please back up what you say with facts/links/evidence if you can, thanks :)

Can eggs be in my mattress? Sites say they can only lay eggs in their burrows. Is that true? We keep our house very cold, ac stays at 60 degrees. It that a good climate for these dreadful bugs? My 12 yr old son is in the worst condition, should I keep him out of his room? Throw his bed and clothes away? How do I get them out of the carpet? Does the ceiling fan blow them around? Which is better a hot bath or cold bath? Can the kids take a bleach bath? Do you ever really get rid of these things? Do they lay dormant in your skin? I'm sorry for all of the questions, I just can't sleep and I'm crying and worried:'(
BLESS YOUR HEART. I FEEL SO SORRY FOR YOU AS I, TOO AM AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS AWFUL JOURNEY. SO FAR, IT'S BEEN ABOUT 3 WEEKS, I'VE SPENT TONS OF $ AND EVERY WAKING MOMENT REVOLVES AROUND THESE AWFUL CREATURES. UNLESS YOU ARE EXTREMELY LUCKY YOU'LL HAVE A TOUGH TIME FINDING A DR. Did you get the prem cream? This will go away. Your young, you just have to take the prem 3x 7 days apart, and clean everything! Don't ever wear something twice with our washing it.

I read where people get rid of scabies after 2 treatments, others have it for months. How do the eggs get removed out from under the skin (scratching)? I've done one treatment and it seems more bites are manifesting. I live in one home during the weekend and another during the week. Scratched the most at "weekend" home and was gone from Monday morning to Friday evening. During the "week" home, after first treatment, I did not get anymore bites. Back at the "weekend home", I got more bites and was away from this home for 4-1/2 days. Some forums say you can get it from dogs and others say no. Some say you are contagious as long as you have signs of them and then others say you aren't after treatment. I'm confused. One forum says that dogs can give them to humans and then another says they don't. One site says you get them when you are sexually active with an infected person. I'm not sexually active. Can you get these mites from a chair that an infected person just sat in (like at a restaurant) where the mite was scratched and still lives for 2-3 days without a host and sit down right after them? This seems possible tome. Anyway, I'm miserable. Intense scratching occurred 6 days ago, treatment started 5 days ago and I'm so ready for another treatment. Benedryl has been my best friend, but there is limits to that too. Two showers a day and washing bedding and clothes daily. Just hope my 87 old dad doesn't get it where I live during the week.

Clove is the answer people! I have been suffering from scabies for 4 months now. Have gone through the permethrin treatment once and with another medication three times but nothing helped.
I started using essential clove oil mixed with olive oil a week ago and I'm feeling a lot better. I'm not sure if i got rid of them, but I've finally been able too sleep at night. Start using clove oil mixed with olive oil or normal sunflower oil. according to some studies, clove oil has proven to kill permethrin-resistant scabies. Just buy it in the pharmacy and put it on every night for a few weeks. Good luck!

what you need to do is take clove capsules, 12-16 a day for a month. In a couple weeks your skin will taste fowl and the mites will leave. take them right after meals.

Follow that up with a couple months of olive leaf extract so that any fungus inside you is gone that the mites are attracted to. 20 drops in water twice a day.

the conflicting info comes from people who have a different malady that they are confusing with scabies.

My Mother got scabies in a care home...The whole place due to a call to the state had them use an insecticide two times and clothes put in plastic bags for two days...It worked...They found a number of people who had to use it...I will try to find out what it was...it was topical...Anyway most of the employees who were involved are gone now especially the Director Of Nurses who was in ,and letting it just go on and on...Anyone need to call the state to curb and nip things in the bud in regards to care homes...They were out there doing their job the next day and examined each patient...They will drag their feet also if you let them...There are some that need a class action suit...

Bleach kills scabies mites. use it with hot water and borox to clean your floors.
laundry has to be 130 degrees and you use a candy thermometer to test the water. it has to be scalding to the touch.
you wash your bedding daily, and try to rotate things. in other words, don't use the same sheets every day.
cover your mattress with plastic, so you can clean that plastic daily. or use an air mattress.
you can leave your home for a couple of weeks, but the main thing is, this is a parasite and parasite live on a host. if you cannot remove them from your body, then leaving your home for a week is not feasible, because when you return to your home, you will start infesting it again.
try to get ivermectin and treat your entire family with it, along with a good topical like permethrin or benzyl benzoate.
use the internet to search where to buy items.
also, wipe down all surfaces. try windex and WIPE, WIPE, WIPE.

Can anyone tell me about a rash that develops aside from the basic location of the round spot of where the main whatevers /parasites/worms I have...I worked in soil for years and is on the bottom part of my legs, I am thinking this must be from a bite of some kind, and caused this whatever, parasite/worm/scabies???? It seems just leaving the spots alone, they have healed over, but there is a rash now, because I used duct tape causing a rash that could be the whatever's to move out to get air, and the duct tape caused to much moisture, although with an airtight bandage and Black Walnut tincture and sulfur topically might have worked...As it stands now, I did a mix in a spray bottle of vinegar, black walnut tincture, Neem oil a natural insecticide, and MSM, and I spray as much as I want, especially when itching happens it seems at 7:30 pm...I put the sulfur on my sheets...I have a frequency device also, I use at night kills parasites and worms...Daily internally I am taking MSM crystals, Now brand Black Walnut/Wormwood with clove buds, for two weeks at a time, then breaking for a week and just using Black Walnut...Externally I use the spray mix I made...I might add more of the MSM crystals and Black Walnut and wormwood tincture directly on one that is open, where I can see the varmints, and tempted to tweezer them out, but if I don't I know my body will rid of them after they die off...This is going to be somewhat of a long road it seems...If you have any suggestions pro's or con's, let me know...

I had this itching start on my scalp. At first I thought it was head lice so I treated myself for that. No help. I went to the Dr. and begged her for help. I told her it was under the skin. She looked at me like I was crazy, and called in a dermatologist. They just don't get it. If you've never had this, you can't imagine how horrible it is. The itching is so intense, you can't help but scratch, and then you have sores and scabs. Yuck! I went to the pharmacy, and begged the pharmacist to tell me if there was something over the counter that would work. He said if the Permethrin doesn't work after two times, I might need Stromectol, but it's only available by prescription. I told him my medical coverage had just lapsed, and he suggested go to the ER. That was the best advice. I had already been to two doctors and two dermatologists, and they treat you like you are nuts. The Doctor T the ER gave me a rx for the Stromemctol. That stuff saved me. Until I used that, nothing gave me relief. I tried 85$ worth of essential oils, sulphur cream, tea tree oil,etc.. Don't waste time, get a doctor who respects you and takes you seriously. Plus, I was exhausted from cleaning, washing and suffering. I think this stuff can lay dormant, because I took an article from my closet that I hadn't worn for a while, and the itch came back with a vengeance. So I'm going to tackle the closet at another time, when I decide the best way.
