Sulfur soaps and ointments are too weak, the Scabies mites move to another part of your body. In a few days you will discover this.

The Roman Legions would march out of their way to reach natural sulphur baths to cure their scabies. Sulphur worked 2000 years ago and still works. Sulphur soap will kill them but you need to use it every day, head to toe and even inside your nostrils, ears and around your eyes. The little buggers will go to where ever you don't treat. Lather up and leave it on for several minutes to let the sulphur absorb. Rinse off and air dry so you will leave the sulphur on your skin. The residue on your skin will prevent any in your environment from coming back on you. You still need to treat your environment and I have found that a 50 / 50 mix of vinegar and water gets them on furniture and carpets. A cup of Borax in your laundry will disinfect it also. It doesn't need to cost hundreds to get rid of them but you need to set up a system and stick to it every day. After they are dead you will have post scabies itch and it is worse than scabies but it is a healing itch and you will know the difference. You will itch until all the burrows, dead mite bodies, their excrement, and any other crap they leave is cleaned out by your immune system. I found 10% sulphur soap at the supermarkets that cater to hispanics. In Mexico sulprur soap is the go to remedy for scabies because it is available, cheap, and it works. Look for 10% sulphur cream or ointment for around your eyes and if you are a woman for the delicate places. I had a sever infestation and now that I am cured and healing I see borrows that I never saw before because they were deep enough not to be seen. I have dozens of them visible on my chest, back, arms, and hands but they are drying up and getting less every day. Good luck and post when you get cured.

How long did the sulfur take to work? I've done it for four days. And it helped a lot but not sure if I'm cured. My skin is peeling on my neck but the bumps there are gone
You need to keep using the soap for a minimum of 2 weeks. It will dry your skin but it won't kill you. The peeling on your neck might be burrows that are coming to the surface and coming apart. Look for 10% sulphur cream for your neck. You won't get cured in 4 days by anything. Even the Ivermectin / Permethrin treatment takes at least 2 treatments a week apart. When you are cured you will itch until your body has cleaned out the crap left by the mites. Don't give up and don't get depressed. When you are cured one thing you might want to do to prevent re-infestation is to mix Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (Braggs is sold at Walmart)and water in a spray bottle and spray yourself with it before you shower. Let it set for a few minutes before you shower and it will kill anything on the surface of your skin. The ACV is also very good for your skin and of you drink a tablespoon of it twice a day you will be doing something wonderful for your body inside and out.

No matter what you use if you don't treat head to toe they will go someplace else. 10% sulphur soap kills them but it takes time because some of the adults are several layers of skin deep and it takes a while to get to them. What are you selling that you will claim works? I want to help other get rid of the misery and just hope that they will help others in the future. You know what paying it forward is don't you?

You are obviously CLUELESS! The mites from the Roman Empire were not the resistant mites of 2013! Why do you think people aren't cured with Ivermectin, Permethrin, Sulfur, Neem, essential oils like Clove Oil, Tea Tree Oil, or daily bleach baths? The mites have adapted every time you kill one generation the next generation has adapted and is resistant. Sulfur no longer cures. You are spreading disinformation because YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! Sulfur! Really? I did sulfur for three months and the infestation only grew.

I know someone who had scabies almost a year ago which wasn't that long ago. They used sulfur in petroleum jelly for a few weeks and was cured. I'm guessing some people have a resistant type but not everyone. Or else everybody would still be on here. But people come and go, showing that they were cured hopefully. My niece was cured with the permetherin alone twice, and she had it all over her body. Her skin is healed and she no longer itches. I don't know if I'm cured,I'm praying that I am. But if she was cured then I think that it is possible to be cured by perm and sulfur. There are pregnant women who have had this, and have been cured, which they can't do the strong treatments. So I think it is possible just depending on what mite it is and if it's resistant.

Thank you so much. I do have acv and will start using it. I'm seeing a dermatologist tomorrow to do a skin scrape. Hopefully I am cured but I will continue the soap and ointment, and if necessary might to do the perm again if I'm not cured by then. Thank you

Good luck with that. Dermatologists usually don't do skin scape tests anymore because they don't have microscopes in their offices. Since doctors were billing Medicare for phony in-house lab tests they made it illegal for doctors to do them. That's why all lab work is sent out. Hope you find help. You sound clueless.
The dermatologist I went to did a scrape test. He said that he doesnt know why the other doctors didn't do one, that it's necessary to make the diagnosis. He didn't find anything, but then again most of my bumps are just small flat scabs. He did 5 or 6 areas. My moms dermo also did a scrape test on my mom. But they are waiting results. My dermo has a microscope. And he has dealt with scabies before. I don't know what area you live in. But here in the city it seems there have been a lot of cases.

My dermatologist did scrapings and what he found on me was scybala (scabies poop). This was after almost a year of washing day with sulfur, using sulfur ointment on my entire body every night, mixing sulfur powder with everything I use like shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent. I smelled like a walking rotten egg. I agree with demo, all I did was give them a lot of time to get entrenched and make it harder to get rid of.

Please quit dinkin around with this stuff and get a real cure because you are wasting your time and money. Permethrin and ivermectin together if possible, best if you have a doc who is onboard, but if not, get it online. In my opinion, permethrin is useless without ivermectin. There are other topix boards here where you can get information.

I'm sorry, I don't know what you would do if you are pregnant. I hope your doctor is helping you.

U still had bumps? Or were they gone? What kind of sulfur did you use? I can't use ivermectin, I'm pregnant, and that could cause miscarriage. I've only used perm and sulfur. Besides that doctors can't give me anything. I have no more new bumps. The old ones are flat and healing. I don't know what else to do

Hi PWS, yes I still had bumps and sores all over me the whole time. I used 10% sulfur soap, 10% sulfur ointment by DeLaCruz (listed for acne), and bought a bag of 98% pure sulfur powder to add to hair conditioner and body lotion and whatever else I could put it in. All of them were bought right off of Amazon. I did that for the whole 15 months I was infected, every day and night and the bumps never went away, tho I think maybe it helped hold it back a little. It did not cure, but I will say that it made it easier to sleep at night but that was the best that can be said about sulfur. People who are looking for a real cure need to not waste their time on sulfur. After all that, a year later my new doctor still found feces in the scrapings he performed on me. Actually, I had used permethrin a dozen times and malathion during those 15 months too, which makes me wonder if anything really works.

As far as the bumps I had, they also were like you described, flat dark marks which made me think they were healing. They would not heal though. They stayed there as almost scars for a very long time and then would reinfect again months later. Like they were laying latent. After having used ivermectin and permethrin together and seeing those marks fade away completely immediately, that I realized they were not healing and they weren't even scars. I don't know what they were.

I really feel so bad for you because I know the position you are in is terrible, and I don't have an answer. I just know sulfur does not cure scabies. It at most can provide some small measure of relief if you need to buy time. I really hope your doctor can help you until the baby is born, and then after, and monitor your baby closely. I hope the best for you.

Have you asked your doc about benzyl benzoate if you feel like you still have infection? Again, I'm not sure it's very effective these days, but when you're trying to buy time, I'd probably throw anything at it that is safe for pregnant women.

If you don't have bumps, I'm thinking it's more likely the permethrin helped you than the sulfur.

Sounds horrible. To use all that and still no cure. Is it possible you had a resistant mite? I'm still clearing up, everyday I look better, and the itch gets better as well. I'm scared though because I have a tiny bump by my ear. And my sister has about 5 on her face but I don't know if it's scabies bites or dry skin, their really tiny. And she she doesn't itch, besides her face, the rest of her body is clear. My mom has been using iver and perm, but so far she is the only one with a few new bumps. The derm told her the lab results don't show what is biting her. What is Benzyl for? Coconut oil is helping me heal fast I believe

Benzyl Benzoate is sold online from Australia, as I don't think they prescribe that lotion in the States. It's called Benzemul and the price is really low, like $7.00 a bottle. It's works quite well as a scabicide. I highly recommend it to anyone suffering from a resistant strain of scabies. But, of course, you need to use ivermectin, too, if you want a cure.

Also, I'm just trying to get the word out there that there is a new yahoo group called BitesRUs for anyone who might think they have Lyme, Morgellons, or Bird Mites. Good luck.

One reason that you may have bad luck with sulfur soap. You are not working it into the skin.

Trust me I work it in my skin. My skin is dry because of it, but coconut oil brings my skin back to life. I use it everyday. I don't know if it has helped but I do feel safer using it. I've used perm, sulfur, and sulfur soap, along with coconut oil because my skin is dry. I look a lot better from a couple weeks ago. Hopefully I'm in post scabies, I will treat again if I see anything spreading. What's hard is there's 4 adults and 2 kids, and 7 and 3 year old. It makes everything complicated. I have been trying my hardest not to stress. Hopefully my prayers will be answered soon. This has really taken a toll on my life

I worked it into my skin, I lathered it up on a washcloth along with a splat of Stoko, which is an exfoliant hand cleaner made of finely crushed walnut shells. There's no way that sulfur wasn't worked into my skin down to the bone!! Ok I exaggerate, but yes it was worked in very well, so that is just nonsense. I think I do have a resistant strain, but I also still think sulfur is a waste of time because I was literally coated in it for most of my days for over a year and the doc still found scabies poop on me in a scraping after all that time.
