I think some of the posters are negative about sulfer soap because there is a company that sells a very expensive version of it specially made for scabies. You dont need the expensive version. Just 10% sulfer soap, you can buy it online. I used a cheap one I bought in bulk. It would take 6 weeks of using the soap twice a day to cure and that would mean your entire family too. So, for us, after the doctors refused any more permethrin and ivermectin, we used the sulfer soap and it finished the job. It kills them on the surface (unlike regular soap where they can hang on then you feel them crawling around after your skin cools off), which is why you have to shower or bath with it twice a day. Of course this may not help everybody, but if you have tried everything, definately try it! Also, if you are waiting for your doctor appointment, you can reduce the population of the buggers by using the soap until the appointment. You can sometimes buy 10% sulfer soap in Mexican grocery stores for pretty cheap. Of course you still have to clean like a crazy person.
Yes, the ten percent sulfur soap will kill the scabies mites. But you must first kill all the eggs,- the sulfur soap does not kill the eggs.Only permethrin 5% kills the eggs.

Then use sulfur soap to wash for at least 90 days you whole body! See www.ScabiesSoap.com

You have to move. Scabies sticks to your environment. The only true way to get rid of it is to move. When you move throw old furniture and beddings and clothings away. It will be worth it believe me.
I don't believe that to be true, moving and replacing your furniture and clothing is more expensive than controlling Scabies.
Change your habits by keeping your environment cleaner, use organic products, use a steamer for clothes, furniture, bathroom, kitchen, fans, carpet, walls and washy our clothes using organic & Borax w/a good detergent in hot water. Use, don't mix the following Vinegar, alcohol, peroxide correctly. Remember you can get these little things by contact w/other people, places and things. Wash body w/sulfur soap from Mexico. Read up all material you can find.
Don't be lazy but be constant in changing your habits. Don't forget to clean your car and steam all the cloth. Remember they reproduce and live just so long-read as much info as you can. You will win in the long run! BTW there is a product used in hospitals, rest homes and you can buy this online. No one talks about this family or friends and they all want to know how to get rid of this pest once you disclose your problem so we are not alone.

About those eggs.Sometimes you can see them on the hair folicles ofthe legs et. but the are under the skin.
I felt something crawling one day and grabbed an oil based hair spray that happened to be in reach.
I was shocked at the amount of eggs that popped out.
This saved me.I used it daily before showering (Remember it is better to shower because you do not want to sit in a bath of eggs or scabies)
The one I used is made in South Africa so I doubt it would be available in other countries but this is what it contains.Paraffinum liquidum--a mineral oil, isopropyl, mryistate, phenyl, tremithicone, ricinuscom munis, seed oil ,polysorbate 20.I think the oils are important. It suffocates them and brings them to the surface within minutes.

I tried perm 4 times, and the ivermectin, they did not work for me. I ordered 10% precipitated sulfur soap from the pharmacy and felt instant relief. It has been 3 days, and I feel 1 or 2 bites compared to 40. I first shower with it like you would with regular soap. Then apply it a second time, lather well, and pat dry but do not rinse off. I feel calm, comfortable and happy for the first time in months. I know the pain of the suffering - I only wonder why I did not learn about it until I did much research, as it is more affordable and less irritating for sensitive skin.
but, I will now tell everyone I can about it. Good luck!

After a 6 month battle with scabies (ending June) I now have my life back.
I was very infested and used all the tricks which helped somewhat.
My healing definately started when I purchased an oil based hair spray to stop them from spreading in my hair.
One day I grabbed it when I felt crawling on my leg and sprayed it.
All these eggs came out from under my skin. I think it suffocated the scabies and this is how I eventually got rid of them
I had some burrows on my forehead and when I sprayed there burrows appeared that I DID NOT EVEN KNOW WERE THERE
ONE HAS TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREATHE IT IN SO CLOSE THE NOSE .
THE HAIRSPRAY MUST BE LARGELY OIL BASED

My dog had sarcoptic mange went misdiagnosed by vet for 4 months. Meanwhile me my wife and 2 year old daughter terrible itching and rashes going to doctors, pediatricians, dermatologists bi-weekly
no one diagnosed scabies... canine scabies act different on humans not in fingers, wrists, genitals, and no visible burrows. I've read several places scabies are species specific and can jump to another species as a host but cannot procreate and only live one life cycle. I believe that is not True. I had to euthanize my beloved 11 year old pit exactly one week ago. A post death skin scrape, at my demand, revealed she was infested with dog scabies. She also had mast cell cancer which is what the vet attributed her mange like symptoms to.... Anyways right after that sad event we all went to urgent care, told the doctor of the dog scabies and finally got premetherin for the dog scabies we are all infested with. Applied it exactly one week ago and my daughter and my rashes and itching is worse than before. My wife's is about the same maybe a little better. We all applied the perm put on new clothes and stayed at a hotel for 5 nights/ 6 days. On day 4 I went home and set off many raid fumigators...
I can tell you these mites are breeding. We have more bumps popping up in places they weren't before a week after treatment. I don't know if this is some kind of hybrid scabie but it really sucks and watching my 2 yo wake up and scratch at nite is absolutely heartbreaking. I just went to Walmart and got sulfur soap and cream.,, keeping my fingers crossed. Has anyone ever gotten canine scabies? They say its usually minor but ours is definitely major... They say 17-21 days and the mites will all die and not reproduce. It's been 7 and getting worse. I'm praying but doubtful. It's been going on 4 months and I pretty much covered head to toe in bumps and rash (except hands, wrists & genitals) My dog slept next to me so I have it much worse then the rest of my fam but they are looking far from good.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you went to PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases and in the search box, type in Scabies and see what pops up. Read what doctors aren't telling you about Scabies.

Sulfur soap will reduce allergy from mites, but the best cure is permethrin 5%.
apply all over body and leave for 14hours. dont listen to doctors and apply to scalp and face as well, ALL OVER BODY!!!
Reapply after a week. dont apply more because mites will become immune to the medicine.
Rush wont go away the next day, you have to be patient. mites and eggs will be dead , but remnants under your skin will still give allergic reaction. you can apply hydrocortizone to calm it down. Also sometimes fungal infection appears while mites are long gone. Check with a doctor. Let him do the test.

IMPORTANT TO CLEAN EVERYTHING!!!
cut nails, clean under them
change rollon deodorant ( NOTE: scabies live longer in wet conditions outside human body)
sterilize jewelry, watches, hair brushes, hair bands, blow dryers.
change cosmetics
clean phones, earplugs
sunglasses
wash clothing in hot water and TUMBLE DRY ON HOT!!otherwise they ll survive
wash bedding
Sterilize bathroom: toilet seat, mats, curtains, walls
throw out sponge you were using ( instead get paper towels and use those and throw them out after each use)
clean remotes,
light switches
clean keys, wallet, purse
sterilize car inside
throw out slippers
sterilize shoes inside
spray whole house

the best is to go on vacation for a week or two right after applying permethrin and reapply it before you return.

IMPORTANT! AVOID DRINKING ALCOHOL AND EATING SWEETS. KEEP HEALTHY DIET

AND GO SEE THE DOCTOR! NO HOME SELF TREATMENTS.

I HOPE THAT HELPS

Btw , regarding diet.
Scabies multiply like crazy if immune system is weak. Thats why not everyone everyone gets infected.
Important to eat well, try to sleep as well as u can( I understand its hard when body is itching)
And DO WORKOUT. IT WILL BOOST YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM AND HELP YOU FIGHT SCABIES. ALSO SWEATING AND TAKING A NICE SHOWER AFTER WITH SULFUR WILL HELP.

And make sure to make a test of your skin for scabies. often people keep having rush, but its not scabies anymore . Its fungal infection or some other skin condition. Scabies open doors to infections on your skin.

Dont overdo chemical treatments, you will disbalance your skin and might get other severe conditions.

Also buy products with shea butter and tea tree oil. It will help as well.

One more thing about sulfur soap. It may kill mites on the surface , but not eggs and mites under skin. For deeper treatment take oral medications and apply permethrin, but BE PATIENT. some people have rush for a month or so after they are cured.

BE WELL AND HEALTHY!
