Okay, I've tried a number of treatments for scabies. First, I used neem oil and sesamee oil and bathed in oregano, rosemary and red thyme and salt, and vinegar, and irritated my skin more and didn't conquer them.
Then i tried Kleen Free Enzymes. This stuff could work, but I think you'd need a whole gallon of it in order for it to be truly effective, cause it's a long process as it doesn't kill the eggs, just the exo-skeleton of the mites. Anyway, when the bottle of it I got ran out and the symptoms remained, I resorted to Dexoprin, a combination of different essential oils. That didn't work either. And finally DermaTex RX, this horrible bright blue stuff that they promise will cure your scabies or "your money back". What a total scam. The stuff is nasty, they don't even list the ingredients, and the money-back guarantee is far from guaranteed. In short, it did not work, and they did not give me a refund. Finally I did the permethrin. That didn't even work entirely. So now I'm back to neem oil and I think I'm gonna get more Enzymes. Anyone else had experience with any of these products. |

HI welcome to scabies hell. I personally haven't tried any of the products you mentioned, except bathing with oils. I find if you soak in a bath of oils, be it lavender, tee tree, rosemary whatever you choose, and scrub gently with bath salts the critters on you float off, then rinse off in the shower and they go down the drain. I am new to writing on this site but have been reading and taking some great advice for about 4 months now. Read through the threads. There are treatments and medication most of us have or are using. Ivermectin! Go to the bottom of this thread hit scabies and find the medication thread.. good luck. |

Derma Tex Rx is nasty , nasty stuff. I used a entire family pack for a month a ruined my skin with it. Permetherin 5% is mild on my skin compared to the Derma Tex junk.

Scabies is a nasty horrible condition! When you tried treating with neem, etc., did you also treat your environment? I've learned that the little buggers can be everywhere including your clothing, keyboard, car seats, office chair...so people just keep getting re-infected. You have to be absolutely fastidious in washing everything that can be washed, bagging everything that can be bagged, and leaving it alone until all the mites die. The people with the best reputation for treating it naturally is everydaysolutionsrx.com . The ladies name is Casey and she's awesome!
