From that study, scabies would live for 24-36 hours off the host. So it might cost someone less to simply go stay in a hotel for a weekend than to call over the exterminators.
Depends on if you have pets or work as a dog walker. Or have family members with this. Depends on many things, girlie. You would have to actually hotel hop for a few weeks, getting rid of any and all clothes and fomites, daily, for a full and complete cure. That includes not using your car, too. You know, I've posted her story many times.

Stromectol ivermectin tablets will get mites out of your eyes, ears, and nose. Try it. It works!!!

Also, you can use rubbing alcohol in your ears. This works.

You might have to take the pills orally which I believe they are called ivermectin. Because you can't use the permethrin in your eyes and I don't think it will penetrate the hair enough. What I would use for the hair is what they use for lice which is a lice shampoo. Id use the lice shampoo before and after I put the permethrin on. Hope this helps. Good luck
This is ignorant! Permethr is the active ingredient in lice MEDS! U can also use tea tree oil in baths

I have been suffering for over a month. I am in misery. I am on my third medication. The only thing that has given me any relief is tea tree oil. Getting more now and I take a bath with it

You need a persciption for ivermectin unless you buy it online from Canada or here in the states, you can get horse paste at a feed store.
I've had scabies for 7 yrs. Every few years, I use the cream, but it never totally goes away. Most people can get rid of it, but some can't like me. You can get rid of some of it and actually live a sort of normal life for a while, then they come back real bad again.
That is because you have MORGELLONS like most people in the world. When are people gonna figure it out?

Disagree. This is a resistant mite. People who cannot get rid of this are immune suppressed. Most of them are people who are over 50 and have immunity issues. The Center for Disease Control stated that most people with "morgellons" suffer from delusional parasitosis. What most of the people are suffering from is a resistant mite. People who are healthy, get rid of this quickly. If you are having a problem with this, go on howicuredmorgellons dot com. They can help you. There are conference calls in that forum where you can actually speak with a live person and several people who are suffering with this. A complete lifestyle change is in order. Most people in the world do not have resistant mites or morgellons.

A pinch of Boric Acid in a medicine glass of water, wash your eyes twice a day, swish around in your mouth twice a day. Dont swallow, though it wont hurt you. That is Boric Acid...NOT BORAX.

Okay so you check into a hotel for three days to clean your home, but you still have the mites in your ear, nose, mouth and scalp. What's next I am ready to take a gallon of gasoline and pour it on and strike a match to it. If this is that difficult to eradicate, why in heavens name does the doctor's s continue to not do more.

O basically, if you catch scabies, you are scewed! No family contact including children, grand children nor great grand children, their activity is in the evening to make their move while you sleep.
I didn't sleep for 4 days so I can track their movement and rid them off my body. The burrowing would stop and infection subsided but when I slept! They entered my nose, ears scalp and I'm sure in my mouth. How can I not be dangerous around my loved ones

Yea I know what you mean its ruined 3 months of mine already and I still can't seem to shake it. I believe you do need a prescription for ivermectin but like someone said on this forum that you can buy generic from canada without prescription. I did a lot of research and you absolutely need your environment treated as well. This includes family members or people you live with, furniture, bedding and clothing, and anyone else you may have come into close contact with. You may have had a successful treatment but since your environment wasn't treated you were immedietly reinfected. Hope this helps
Man ive had my work cut out for me when i realized my family of 5, ages ,; 9months 5,6,35,&43 yrs old. Though my husband and middle child have not suffered much at all n he often tells me how crazy i am . i cant say exactly when i got it, man its nasty n every cut or scratch, scrap, misquito bites on my ankles an on my hands, n my eyes, eyelids, ears, nose. Not to mention the phsyc part of it. Im now realize we have to get the Rx( ivermectic) for the doctor. The cream stuff dis not work for us an we have been bathing in Borax 2/1cups &3%perioxide.(pintrest recommended this an i highly do as well) for 2weeks, when i did not do the borax b/c i got the rx of creamer for my small children an myself. We all treated but i NOw realize we have to leave our home for a minum 3 days???the borax 2 cups/1cup3%peroxide has helped the very most at keeping new ones from taking over. I seemed to have gotten them the worse my baby only got a few here an there on his face but very badly on his balls, i thought it was diaper rash.SMH any advice would be helpful! I havr been battling them hardcore(since i realized thats what it was) an friend an i struggled to diagnoses it with different/separte symptomsfor going on2 months. Best of luck to u all unfortunate ones as well. Nice to know we are not alone at least. My concerns are getting it back so any helpful advice is much appricated.

Take your baby to the doctor! Don't use any treatment on the baby or children that is not given to you by a doctor!

Part 2:
I am getting better, I believe...but I CAN tell you 100% pure aloe vera whole leaf - drinking some everyday and 100% aloe vera gel gooped all on my eyes - to cover all the hair and even in my eyes a little and at corners - burns only because something in the eye, for just a second then feels good, and gel up my nose to fully coat it, seems to be keeping them out of my nose and eyes. I had to heal a couple nests in my nose first with 3% H2O2 regularly and permethrin spot treating them for months, before the aloe worked prophalactically to prevent re-infestation. I can tell you my scalp, once all the nests were healed and I shaved my head to be able to get permethrin on it and BB and Eurax, etc....onto it, loves the aloe gooped on it with Neem essential oil added to it (Floracopeia) brand. Keeps all my scalp itching away and creepy crawly feelings at bay throughout the day too, if I use it several times and coat my scalp. That's all I can say - I know by now, as you all do, there is no guarantee.

This is not true at all. Parasites, if external, are internal. Parasites are in everyone on this planet to varying degrees. I was 44 and in prime, prime, prime health, save for my microbiome was obviously suffering as I was battling internal parasites as well. I got scabies. As above, so below....as inside, so outside. I do NOT have a compromised immune system, only the massive massive stress of ending a 25 year marriage, emblement by the man of my personal and sole and separate funds, and a horribly abusive custody battle and court non-stop. My lifestyle other than that is fantastically healthy - meditation instructor, health food fanatic, exercise, you name it - always has been. Please, please do not judge people with this infestation. Please keep comments positive and know we are all doing our best and educated about it and trying everything we can. Broad comments like - you shoulds or you have to change your lifestyle are just presumptuous and inaccurate and not helpful. Cure ideas and successes are helpful.

When i felt my mites in my eyes i used dollar store hydrogen peroxide spray into the air and let a little of the "fog" settle into my eyes

Always healed my eye bugs
