So its been over a year, I feel like im going to go insane, after 6 tubes of prescribed creams/ sulfur soap. We still have em. So I noticed the clove mixex with vaseline works on my baby, fast cure but I ran out. So now I have neem and tea tree mixed in vaseline its really messy but seems to be helping. I also was using 10% sulfur cream
But it seemed to make em angry because under my arm it was really itchy and swelled. So clove seems to be the most effective, neem and tea tree. Clove bud oil has immediate effects stops itch and bumps go away. I applied directly on place of infestation, my kids I dilute as it burns and is very warm on skin. Gonna order more this week. Oh yea and I took some bleach baths uh yea wont do that again it burnt me. Gonna try cayanne pepper too this week. Also i started freezing items sheets and so on. We dont have washer or dryer so we freeze and put things in bags for weeks at a time. Really hard to treat 4 people in our home. But I am praying we almost have it under control.
Cayenne pepper and clove bud oil doesn't cure scabies; it doesn't even come close. Who are you kidding? neem tea tree oil? Really? come on, now.
The ivermectin and permethrin work better than all your stuff that you are selling here on this forum. stop it.

permetherin DOES work, me and my boyfriend both got a tube. we used mine first, cleaned EVERYTHING I MEAN EVERYTHING, then we applied the lotion, put vaseline around your hair line, a THICK layer (it feels gross but they will go to your scalp). make sure you keep everything clean, get a plastic bed cover, plastic pillow cases. wait a week like it tells you, and cover yourself again with permetherin (we used my tube again and finished it). i didnt itch after the first treatment, as soon as i did the second one, i thought i had reinfected myself because i was so terribly itchy again. We used my boyfriends permetherin for a third treatment another week after the second. we did not follow up with the 4th treatment because my boufriend went to the doctor and we are clear of scabies. What we have now is a form of excema, it looks alot like the scabies, but it is NOT!! you people drive yourself mad looking for answers when its permetherin. You have to keep up on everything, cleaning everything. alot of you go to drastic matters when some of you may just have developed excema after permetherin treatment. I still itch, not nearly as bad. and all the little "pimple" like marks i had, i can see the feces and scabies come out. it will be a brown dot you can squeeze, pick off. im still tingly yes, but i know i am scabie free. it takes alot of dedication and time to get rid of them!!!! ALSO DO NOT USE A BEACH BATHHH, IT CAN GO INTO YOUR OPEN WOUNDS FROM SCRATCHING AND CAN GIVE YOU BLEACH POISONING. very dangerous.

My whole family got infested, me, my mother, my sister, my son, my daughter and my grandbaby- we all got the perm cream and it worked for only my grandbaby and my mother. I went thru 10 tubes of it over 3-4 months just on myself, it did nothing. I never got any increased itching or rash after using it, and nobody in my family had that happen either. I got more and more burrows on me within days of using it, it did absolutely nothing to even slow them down in the slightest.
I have never had the bad itching most have with scabies, only once in the past 8 months did the itching wake me up and even then it wasn't that bad. I'm glad it worked for you, I wish it would work for all of us.

Stop living in hell and try my remedy.
Every night for a week I soaked in a HOT bath from the neck down. I poured a generous amount of all of the following items in the water:
-Bleach (not too much)
-Borax detergent
-Citrus mouthwash
-Neem oil
-Orange oil
-Tea Tree oil
-Aloe Vera
-Aloe vera lotion
-Peppermint oil soap
-Citrus soap
-Orange oil soap
-Bath salts (they contain sulfur)
I put a thick layer of vaseline around my neck and under my hair line so that the bugs couldn't spread upwards. I soaked for about 45 mins in the hottest temperature I could stand.
I also lathered myself in lotion after every bath that I mixed together myself, it contained:
-A lotion I got from Sprouts that was made with Neem and Aloe Vera
-Regular citrus flavored lotion
-Orange oil
-Neem oil
-Tea Tree oil
Every morning I took a regular shower before I applied the lotion mixture.
They say that the scabies won't move above your neck, but we all know that this isn't always true. At night I lathered my hair in a Tea Tree oil conditioner and slept in it overnight.(Also great for your hair :)) And applied a small amount of the lotion mixture on my face.
I also kept a tiny spray bottle with me at work and would spray my skin anytime I felt an itch, it contained: Water and orange oil.
Washing all of your belongings is VERY important. I washed all of my bedding EVERY DAY with regualr detergent, borax, and if possible bleach. Any clothes that you have come in contact with should go straight in the washing machine on HOT and dried in the dryer after any contact. Things that I could not wash I bagged up tightly and kept in the garage for a few months. For things I couldn't wash like the carpet, mattresses, and cloth furniture I made up a mixture in a spray bottle and sprayed them daily. I used and empty Windex bottle that contained: Water, about 1/5th parts bleach, and orange oil. I also sprinkled Borax on all of the carpet in my house and vaccummed it up daily.
I put all of my shoes and purses that couldn't be washed in the freezer for 3 days, and sprayed what I could with my special mixture.
I sprayed the inside of my car with my special mixture as well.
After about a week of all of this I felt about 90% better. I started slowing this down to about every 3 days after 1 week. After about 2 weeks of this, I WAS CURED!!!!! It has been about 4 months since I was cured and I finally feel like I have my life back, and I don't have to think twice about touching anyone and fearing that I am going to spread this horrible bug.
I read hundreds of "remedies," and also tried Permethrin TWICE with no results. I figured the best bet would be to combine most of the remedies I read together, and it worked.
Hopefully this remedy will work for all of you out there that read this, and just remember..there is hope.
Oils are the important thing, the kind means everything!!! I started using these because of scabies after buying crap!!!Please contact me, I'm not suffering anymore and scabies gave me this! I have a son , and needed help with anything natural. I was about to soak in bleach! Ugh contact me!!! https://www.youngliving.org/vron0907

Note: There may be many cases which don't respond to Permethrin because they are actually one or another variety of the Chigoe Flea, also known as the "sand flea". Google for "chigoe" and you will probably freak out.

They also burrow into the skin, leaving a little tunnel opening, and they do not respond at all to permethrin.

Their reproductive pattern is far different from Scabies Mites. Almost everything you would do for scabies mites will actually only assure the spread of the Chigoe.

For the Chigoe, the main thing is to use Insect Growth Regulators, such as Nylar, Gentrol, and Precor, or indeed, all of these in rotation. Because of the life span of the adult, the rate of egg emission, and the incubation times of the larvae in the pupal state, it could take a year or more to get rid of these. But it's a "burrowing flea", see also the "sticktight" or "sticktite" flea.

Chigoes are reported to be controlled against re-infestation by a product which is no longer made, called "Zanzarin". Zanzarin contained Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Aloe Vera, and 7-percent Benzyl Benzoate. That last is probably the active ingredient to pacify the ones already in the skin, and the other oils are all known insect repellants as well as healthy skin oils.

Dr Bronner "magic soap" has a liquid coconut-oil soap with jojoba oil in it, add some aloe vera and benzyl benzoate and this may help you.

Note: if several doctors have said that you have scabies, pursue a scabies cure. If several doctors have said it's not scabies, but you have a continuing skin rash that very much resembles scabies, treat your house continuously for fleas for perhaps as long as a six-month period, while identifying and removing possible reservoirs of chigoe flea incubation. They particularly like warm unfinished sandy basements (maybe you call them "root cellars") that are climate controlled throughout the year. They also like beaches near tropical/semi-tropical brackish water. They are native to Caribbean shores but were transported worldwide by the Conquistadores. In Africa they are a huge problem. There's nothing to do for the adults except for excision and the best thing is to just keep the wounds clean and dry while washing with a good anti-septic disinfectant. Commercially available Chlorhexidine Gluconate solution is a soothing disinfectant that isn't too hard on your skin.

Whatever my own problem is, I have found that washing with this anti-septic/disinfectant, letting it dry, and then rinsing clean, has done a lot to reduce swelling and itching and it seems to promote fairly quick healing.

So, if you have done the washing/bagging/permethrin thing with no success, try treating for these horrid tiny fleas that dig into your skin and then swell up to sometimes almost as large as a pea (usually more the size of a BB shot). Even if you really have scabies, it never hurts to treat for fleas, as they add another dimension of difficulty to isolating the true cause of your affliction.

Bes wishes, and good luck,
Brenda

I cured scanies even quicker and easier than this. After suffering for a whole week and the prescribed treatment did not work - at 2am one sleepless itchy morning I went through my bathroom vanity and decided to try my blonde toning mousse, ultra v mousse used for toning blonde dyed hair. Omg I literally saw the burning red and lumpy skin return back to natural colour and texture within minutes whilst watching hopefully in the mirror. By five mins, the itching had disappeared altogether. I covered my whole body two nights in a row and it was gone. For the same reason, women who use hair dyes, products etc, rarely get nits cos the chemicals kill them. I say head to ur local hair salon and peroxide urself better.

By the way, the cayenne bath? Tried it. It eases the symptoms due to the burning it gives you (including your bits that burn even more) so u forget the itch cos of the cayenne burn. It eases symptoms only does not cure. Oh and btw, whatever your cure if choice, you will never get rid of em by just apying to the affected area, u have to cover ur whole body or they will just migrate to an untreated part of your body.

I had scabies for three months & after four permethrin treatments, washing everything every day & lots of hoovering still hadn't worked, I tried a homemade salt scrub three nights in a row & it was gone! I simply made a paste with table salt & a little water & after soaking in a hot bath (to open pores) I scrubbed the mixture in all over on my damp skin & left it 5-10mins (boy did it sting!) Then rinsed off with very hot water. I didn't itch all night or nxt day apart from where my scabs were healing very quickly. I washed bed sheets again & repeated the next eve & I am free at last!

You're all stupid, permethrin works very very well, if ti hasn't for you then you are doing it wrong proving, as mentioned before that you are stupid. Covering your self if fancy oils and all that crap, just gonna prolong your suffering. Do it properly with permethrin the first time round and you will be cured and alway remember even after they are gone your body can still be having allergic reactions to the corpses and left over feces for weeks. This should not be taken as a sign the treatment did not work.

Great post and so true! Most info is not accurate from doctors anymore on this, its a battle and if everyone does all you said, it will get rid of them. Its too bad they banned Kwell lotion, it killed them all in 2 days! The FDA needs to bring it back cause people are spreading this to others, who may not know they have it for years later!

Permethrin works for some, but people with thicker skin are having a much harder time! It does not go deep enough for them. So, Ivermectin 1% would be better and quicker for them. My neighbor used Permethrin all over her body for a year and she still has them! She has less, but she still has them.

I'm happy for those for whom Permethrin works. It's wrong to assume any cure is the end-all-cure-all for everyone and call everyone else idiots. Everyone varies, everyone's skin is different. Not all perfumes smell good on all people.

My fiance got scabies and it was miserable. Permethrin did not work. We tried it twice. We thought it was poison ivy/oak at first and the initial ointments and remedies doctor prescribed did not work. Then after a few days we returned and the doctor diagnosed scabies. Followed to treatment word for word and it was miserable that it did not help.

Did our due diligence in any home remedies and came up with a solution to share.
-- Any clothes worn are to be placed in a plastic garbage bag
-- garbage bag or tarp under bedding
-- new bedding daily
-- wash all clothes and bedding with hot water, detergent and tons of borax
-- daily baths with 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup epsom salt, 1 cup hydrogen peroxide

Now for the "secret." Using 1/3 cup grapeseed oil as a base, I added 15 drops of neem oil, 10 drops clove oil and 10 drops tea tree oil. I would change the ratio depending on how much grapeseed oil I was using. Do not apply tea tree oil directly to skin, it will cause a chemical burn.(my genius fiance put it on his eye lids, DON'T DO THAT)
Take this oil, mix the oils today with a straw or anything that won't absorb the oil. After the bath, dutifully rub it all over your bites and body. Scabies like to burrow, so covering the entire body is key.

The hot bath and everything in it draws the scabies out. The ingredients in the oil kill the scabies and do not give them a place to go on your body. The entire process is laborious, but you'll feel the scabies coming out of your skin as your rub the oil into your body. This is not to be rushed. A full "treatment" can take 30 minutes.
Did it every day until we saw the red splotches turning more human-color. Then baths every other day. Everything was healed in 2 weeks.

** Note: we soaked a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and applied it to a nasty area overnight. It killed the scabies, but essentially burned the tissue leaving a scar for life. Not recommended unless you want a lifelong memory of this experience.

I did all of this alongside my partner and never got scabies. I hope this helps. I'm sorry you're going through this, but there is hope!!
