Stop living in hell and try my remedy.

Every night for a week I soaked in a HOT bath from the neck down. I poured a generous amount of all of the following items in the water:

-Bleach (not too much)
-Borax detergent
-Citrus mouthwash
-Neem oil
-Orange oil
-Tea Tree oil
-Aloe Vera
-Aloe vera lotion
-Peppermint oil soap
-Citrus soap
-Orange oil soap
-Bath salts (they contain sulfur)

I put a thick layer of vaseline around my neck and under my hair line so that the bugs couldn't spread upwards. I soaked for about 45 mins in the hottest temperature I could stand.

I also lathered myself in lotion after every bath that I mixed together myself, it contained:

-A lotion I got from Sprouts that was made with Neem and Aloe Vera
-Regular citrus flavored lotion
-Orange oil
-Neem oil
-Tea Tree oil

Every morning I took a regular shower before I applied the lotion mixture.

They say that the scabies won't move above your neck, but we all know that this isn't always true. At night I lathered my hair in a Tea Tree oil conditioner and slept in it overnight.(Also great for your hair :)) And applied a small amount of the lotion mixture on my face.

I also kept a tiny spray bottle with me at work and would spray my skin anytime I felt an itch, it contained: Water and orange oil.

Washing all of your belongings is VERY important. I washed all of my bedding EVERY DAY with regualr detergent, borax, and if possible bleach. Any clothes that you have come in contact with should go straight in the washing machine on HOT and dried in the dryer after any contact. Things that I could not wash I bagged up tightly and kept in the garage for a few months. For things I couldn't wash like the carpet, mattresses, and cloth furniture I made up a mixture in a spray bottle and sprayed them daily. I used and empty Windex bottle that contained: Water, about 1/5th parts bleach, and orange oil. I also sprinkled Borax on all of the carpet in my house and vaccummed it up daily.

I put all of my shoes and purses that couldn't be washed in the freezer for 3 days, and sprayed what I could with my special mixture.

I sprayed the inside of my car with my special mixture as well.

After about a week of all of this I felt about 90% better. I started slowing this down to about every 3 days after 1 week. After about 2 weeks of this, I WAS CURED!!!!! It has been about 4 months since I was cured and I finally feel like I have my life back, and I don't have to think twice about touching anyone and fearing that I am going to spread this horrible bug.

I read hundreds of "remedies," and also tried Permethrin TWICE with no results. I figured the best bet would be to combine most of the remedies I read together, and it worked.

Hopefully this remedy will work for all of you out there that read this, and just remember..there is hope.

what a first class cure routine. Wish I had found this earlier. I would also spray my skin with Hydrogen peroxide 9% after the hot bath. You will see infront of your eyes scabies being killed on the parts where you think they are(around itchy area).

Thank you!

Try the Windex or 50/50 Windex/ammonia combination on your hair to kill the bugs, of course using a towel to protect your eyes. Then add 4 MSM tablets/day to your vitamin regimen. It seems to help your hair grow back.

Reading it all for like 3 months now( 5 months of misdiagnosis) so yup i know it is a long battle hopefully I am coming to an end.
Anyway here a plan.
Ivernectin 1% every 5 days ( don't shower for two days) do it in the afternoon drink grapefruit juice all day. Take it w 4 or more pills of flaxseed. And also I chose mozzarella cheese. Super fatty eveything. Do double dose from a pig dose. Read label. Ivomec 1%.
Vaseline Or castor oil. Do it all over nightly you will suffocate them and smooth them. Wait 15 minutes most of them will be out then apply 25% BB ( benzemul asbiol. This will kill them a lot more bc u are bringing them out some how. You Can also mix up sulfur with Vaseline. And add BB 25% what I like about suffocating them is that I see how many are still there and if the number is coming down. So I can see I am progressing.
Morning : prepare a bath w neem oil, many essential oil we all know about, including pennyroyal. Add bleach and sea salts. Plus oatmeal do then is not so drying. Stay 30 minutes.
After that shower with Sulfer soap. Lather let it 5 minutes. Wash it off and. Ow use a mild soap with neem oil etc.
Dry w towel maybe some scabies stay there hopefully.
Taking them off nose eyes and nose? Hidroxen peroxide all day long.
When i am dry dust myself w DE then comes msm lotion mixed with some essential oils. Will see still working on this. Good luck everyone.

Ps: everyone knows the drill of environment so i wont repeat what everyone knows.

I had it so bad and tried it all, and it cost us over 500 dollars. I was getting sick from all of the stuff I tried. I thought to myself I am willing to try stuff you put on dogs so I bought 1 can of happy jack spray for dogs. I was afraid at first so I sprayed it from the waste down, and the itching stop so the next day I sprayed a little in my hand and rubbed it on my scalp it work as soon as I put it on. I than sprayed my bathrooms and bed they are gone, and I am cured for about 7 dollars.

I commend you for being so forward with giving some tips to help people dealing with scabies but you also may be confusing them as your to do list is quite extensive. When dealing with scabies you should first start by using either sulfur creams or permethrin creams, if these treatments fail you should consult a physician to talk about taking oral medication as it is likely you have an advanced case of scabies.

You can also take baths using epsom salts both while treating scabies and in post scabies as this will help your skin surface the dead mites and debris which is ultimately causing the rashes and itching.

The scabies suck. I've tried everything. I am literally crazy. Ending my life at this point seems like a reasonable option. It might be the only way to get rid of these. I can't do this anymore.

You can make cheap scabies medication. Get sulfur at Lowes or your nearest garden center. It is a yellow powder used for killing mites in the garden. Get some cheap moisturizing lotion. Cut the bottle of lotion wide open so you don't have to pump all day. Mix nineteen tablespoons of the lotion with one tablespoon of the sulfur. You now have a 5% sulfur lotion which you can use on your body. I have doubled the sulfur content to 2 tbsps for 10% and that's OK too. You can sprinkle the sulfur on carpets etc to kill mites. People used to pat sulfur powder on themselves against scabies, and you could do that. Sulfur is non-allergenic.
The dicotomaceous earth someone mentioned above - you can also get that at garden centers and it sounds like a good way of dealing with the skin-surface crawling males. It's not for mixing with moisturizer, and don't inhale that D. earth.
Cover your mattress with plastic for sure.
They say that 20 min in the dryer at high temp will kill the mites on your clothes and bedding. I go for 40 minutes.
I have been using my homebrewed lotion med for the past week. I put it on wherever & whenever I feel anything crawling or nibbling. It has definitely reduced the lesions, and although our fight is still on, the mites seem to be steadily losing ground. You can go a day or two and thingk everything's OK but then they come back. Having the sulfur homebrew means we have something on hand all the time to hit the little bugs with right away.
For my wife and myself, the sulfur homebrew works at least as well as the 5%permethrin we used before - That was Nix at $20-25 dollars for 30 mg tubes. I'm big and one tube is not enough for me.
The homebrew is good because we'll never run out, it's so cheap, and we can use it as much as we like.
We "cook" everything - clothing and bedclothes - in the dryer every day. If we decide that's not good enough we'll go to washing as well. We shower, then put on the cream all over, twice a day, morning and night. We are hoping that the showers reduce the eggs, the males, and the itching. We bought Head and Shoulders Shampoo with 1% permethrin, for what it's worth.
All the sensations are real - the crawling, the biting, the burning allergic rash. I have even had the rash peel like a sunburn, and also had it turn into a bright red strawberry stain on my skin behind the knees. We are both WAY better off than we were a couple of months ago, with lesions by the hundred. Now I only have three or four, and they have all been plastered with my sulfur lotion. Fingers crossed...
We are so looking forward to this dreadful ordeal being over. We first got Scabies about four months ago, but for the longest time we were just following the instructions on the Nix tube, which are USELESS. Doctors' advice was also USELESS, either at diagnosing our condition or telling us what to do about it. Absolutely hopeless. We tried following it at first, but if we had stayed with it we'd be so much worse off than we are now.
If you follow what the Nix tube says you will take one treatment, shower in the morning, and be over it in three weeks. Absolute nonsense. This is a long-term fight. But if you are persistent and follow the hygeine rules you will definitely see results.
So we have had to learn as we go, making mistakes along the way. For the longest time we weren't following all those hygeine protocols because we didn't know anything about any of them. We've wised up a lot.
To any reader who finds this post, the best of luck to you!

Lol. It's lotus_fan, aka FRED. He has a thing for directing people to str8up's rather weird borax thread. It's a mess of information which is a bit unclear and vague at times. It's a big run around and eventually you'll get the gist of the treatment, which I might add from experience is a very slow and time consuming one. It is not something anyone should stick with, there are much more promising methods on here. In my observations, nothing from Mr. Denver Colorado should be trusted.

Believe me salt was enough to eliminate scabies. 500 grams of sea salt in a hot bath (20mins), 3 consecutive evenings. End of story.

Glad it worked for you sir. How bad was your infestation and how long did you have scabies for? If topical and oral ivermectin doesn't work for me I'm going to run this. I have used the popular borax/bleach/peroxide combo in the bath with epsom salt. But I have heard epsom salt is not the same. I want to order some dead sea salt. It's supposed to be a major mite killer.

I hate Petroleum jelly on my body, and as a carrier for sulfur I wouldn't recommend it. Moisturizing cream works way better for me and washes off easily too. Apparently in the old days folks sprinkled themselves directly with the sulfur; I haven't tried it. I use a 10-20% mix sulfur with Moisturizer. Someone on this forum said you could go to 40% no problem. So far I haven't found that necessary, but my wife likes the idea! I think if you slap the sulfur and cream on the crawlers (males) it knocks them out pretty well right away. They probably suffocate - I hope so, I hate microspiders!!!
