birdmitestortured, I believe you are right, that this is the hatchlings coming out of me. They are definitely concentrated at my highest point of infestation ie. feet and groin area, I think I almost have them beat on my scalp by shaving my head, damned tempting to shave my eyebrows i tell ya!!! The groin area is probably my biggest problem due to the sensitivity there, and because the skin is so soft they seem to be able to bite and attempt to burrow there easier than elsewhere, of course its also tougher to keep well shaved. I am turning nocturnal since these things will not let me sleep, I guess its a good thing since I am setting up websites and can do it any time of day.

searching, I think you are right that not all of us have the same bug, but perhaps we get the same infection from the bugs? whether this be bacterial, staph, or fungus is way out of my knowledge range. I do believe that I have similar bugs to what knowy(former pest control) has. I have been reading his posts since he started posting here and see many similarities to our syptoms. I keep thinking that it must be springtails or something along that line of bugs. I can definitely feel them jump from my computer to my head, face, chest. And they have targeted feet, knees, groin, and scalp the most ferociously. Thank God and all the posters here that I found the iver to quell the deep under skin crawls, but I have a long way to go to eradicate them all from my body. Anyways, I will try the head and shoulders with silenium in the morning and see if that helps. Good luck all and God Bless you.

Hi nite man -(like me )

For the groin, I soak in a tub with oil , 1/8 cup coconut is best , they die in 30 mins , if they persist the next day , betadine on it for 5 minutes only, then rinse , it will end them in 10 mins, no burn , no pain . Never failed me ever. betadine works well on thin skinned areas , not as well on legs & backs etc. It is not recommended for large areas of the body it says on the bottle. Also coconut oil suffocates the bug , coconut dosent poison you like petrochemicals: like baby oil which is the by product of making gasoline ( google it ). Pray hard while you are doing it & pray always, many are the afictions of the righteous , but the Lord delivers them of them all.

God bless you , Bill

ps the coconut 2 oz in 48 oz of water as a spray stops all movement of the bug due to the sticky oil , it smells great and cost 5.00 for 31 oz at the grocery store. I dip every thing in this mix and it is bugless. I fill the tub ,put in 4 oz of oil & dip big things. Dipping coats all of the object. I don't rinse the object

pss I did kill the bad ones with sulfur for 1 year on and off with 2 week breaks,

& then 19 days of
16 oz
peroxide &
2 tbls borax &
32 oz water

Then the arm & hammer powdered laundry soap 1 cup in the bath 1 time every 2 weeks for 2 months. I feel no bugs , but an ocassional shin bite ( I wear cowboy boots always , never a foot bite ever ) I pick up this bug in the park , the docks & at work . It dies quickly with these treatments & all are painless The peroxide & borax is tough on the kidneys though..but it kills anything fast, and there is no burn because the borax nuetralizes the peroxide.. & the peroxide causes the borax to penetrate into the skin.
My kidneys are fine , And I feel great , I don't use the peroxide borax water mix full body anymore , unless I have to. I cannot live with this bug .
The oil in the bath kills them when they are weak , if I battle a strong grandaddy patch of piercers I use the peroxide & borax it arrests & kills it.

Hi Nightmares Do Come True

The oil work on the eybrows too very well , if the bug persists betadine wiped on the eye brow for 5 mins then rinsed will end it all .It is painless I don't get it in my eyes though , it burns on the pupils, I do wipe it on my lashes if the bug gets to them. After thet they are gone like a miracle..

Save the brows , we are freaky enough as it is . Laughing out loud ...!..?...

Please Help all of us God.,

ahhh, thank you bill, I will have to try the betadine and coconut oil. I have tried the rest to no avail. Even the borax and peroxide baths did not stop these sobs, as soon as I would dry off, they attack. Now, I have not done that exact soak in a couple weeks, because I saw very little results, it could be that I am beginning to weaken them and it may work now. I will try the head and shoulders with selenium tonight and see how the results are. I just get so damn frustrated when someone tells me what works and I try it with zero results. Makes me wonder just what in the world this thing is. Like I say, I was able to minimize the deep under skin crawls, so I am pretty sure I am not delusional...LOL, sleep deprived yes, delusional no.

Without a doubt we all have different varieties of bugs. And all of us have a different chemical make up to our bodies, so it makes sense that what works for one person may not work for another. But, you would think that modern medicine would at least look into developing a cure all for these parasites. From everything I have read about mites (other than on these forums where people are heavily infested) they are pretty easy to kill, a fairly fragile lifeform. The more I think about it, the more I think that a homeopathic approach might be the best. Changing the chemistry to make ourselves uninhabitable makes more sense than getting rid of them and having to worry about getting them again. Like you mentioned you pick them up at the park. Although now that I know how they feel, I will never let myself get heavily infested again, it just sucks that there is no instant cure. OK, I am just ranting now, but I had to get my thoughts out. Take Care and God Bless.

I found this on Birdmitesorg a Yahoo form. Just thought I wld transfer some info for some of you that aren't signed up.
went to a dermatologist same old story, he didnt believe me, subscribed scabies meds, havent filled them. But I did have the feeling he and the nurse new more than they would tell me.(Delusions of Parasitosis) written in my file, oh well I tried..

another thing I wanted to bring up is the bites are usually next to a hair follicle where this creature lives in me and im getting more of a sensation of scabs. It feels like my whole body is covered in scabs, my clothes feel like they get caught on the hard little bodies of whatever they are.. hard for me to write and explain. does anyone else have this sensation ? as for shaving you whole body, Wow talk about itchy when the hair grows back, im not ready to do that yet.

Hi Nightmaredocome true

The peroxide mix is to be used straight per ted at earthclinic

here is the email I received that turned everything around. It is from an old topix poster named mm-m , now she uses the name Frito and posts at birdmites forum sometimes. I am johndoe doe1769@yahoo.com call me anytime if it doesn't work . Oil in the bath , coconut really helps a lot . Possibly , I believe it takes something strong to kill the mean ones first then continue witht 2 tbls of oil in the tub .

pasted email:
''' http://www.earthclinic.com/Pets/dog_mange_cur...

The mix:
2 tblspns borax (20 mule team Borax laundry booster
16 oz peroxide (3%)
32 oz water.
mix it , and the borax nuetralizes the peroxide

I have a reason for posting this, that will come.

For now, there is good info here.  I have used this on myself and is what healed my first two craters of simmering hell on my arms way back when.  I will remind you those lesions were on the order of 7cm long and 5 cm wide.  Substitute human for dog.  There is a great explanation of the usefulness of H202, vinegar, and borax.  The actions of Borax can also be applied to the environment.  This will also tell you on how Borax works to kill and also addresses toxicity issues.  Also, remember,  H202 is a penetrant and very effective.

Hi Nightmaredocome true

I don't know if you will see this post the way everyone uses different threads. When I was at topix daily: in the worst biting crawling itching, non healing cuts, infested state we all posted on the scabies is highly contagious thread , there are 6500 or so. We all came to know each other well , I still talk on the phone to some. It was better then beacause we could all comment on the last post . And you could just scroll back to find where you left off , read the posts and get caought up. I learned many things here. Most important is to pray .God controls all . The word itch is used one time in the bible. It is very enlightning. God wants all of us to repent & turn to His Son for redemtion .In Jesus is life ,He is the vine we are the branches. Every branch that bears not fruit he trims off., He trys to prune us all the time. He is the creator.

God bless you , Bill

So many things that work for others do not work at all for me..I am seriously considering that I may be battling a secondary infection left behind by these critters. If a fungus or bacterial infection is attacking the nerves, it makes sense that they could produce close to the same feelings as the bugs themselves. As time progresses, and I have used more pesticides on my body, my reactions from my nervous system are increasing. The bites are much harder and more painful and I have entire areas of skin just light up from the nerve endings being attacked. This happens mostly on my legs, but also on my midsection, especially sides and back. When these nerves are attacked on my sides and back, they trigger a flash throughout most of my body. I am also freezing!! I have the heat turned up to 80 degrees and cannot get warm. I am sure that the chemical burns(beginning to heal now) would affect the body temperature, but I used to be the type of person that loved the cold more than heat. Now I am freezing when I should be sweating.

I tried the head and shoulders with selenium last night and was able to leave it on for about five minutes before rinsing off. The tingling from it felt really good, but was immediately followed by very hard bites. After my skin dried, the really hard bites continued, so i slathered myself in sulfur ointment once again, this brought some relief to the bites, but not the sensations of them being on my body. Like I say, I am truly starting to think I have a secondary infection. Anyone know of any over the counter cures for fungal and bacterial infections? I am sooo done with doctors.

Nightmares, iv'e had herd of Dr Bronners Peppermint Castile soap, it's an all natural soap, it is safe from what I hear, like brushing your teeth in it,but im not sure about swallowing it.
I myself had chickenpox at the age of 38 and right after that I had gotten a Staph infection.NOT MRSA.the doctor called it folliculitis . working in pesticides and crawling around on strange peoples floors and under houses I believed it to be something from my job related, ie pest control . now im not so sure where or how I got it. that was at the time I started really feeling itchy <my opinion> was bugs but I had two really bad , itchy disease at that time. Can it be that easy, a secondary infection , or something more like I feel it to be " bugs "
I believe your first paragraph and it sounds just like me, I get cold all the time, even on hotter days, my wife will have windows open on a 78 degree day and ill be freezing just from a slight breeze. have you had staph or folliculitis, I always disagreed with that diagnostics..but I may never know. I STILL FEEL THINGS JUMPING ON ME AND ELECTRIC BITES.
Last night I had tried something just to see what happened, I put peroxide full strength with a cutip on just a few bumps, like having 2 bumps in the same place I wld put it on only one bump, it would bubble. my skin at that area turned white like all the blood left that area, sounds reasonable to me in a way,but I dont really know what peroxide does OR how it should react to skin but this morning , on the bumps I tested there were no black dot in the middle of the bump. No itching from the tested bumps. they look like they were gone. no red bumps with black dots in the middle but dry skin circles. there is a term for that, but it escapes me now.
anyways again I post this only to try to help, that is my story, as complete as I can remember. kind of embarrassing to read all these post I have written but this suffering really sucks.Ill do anything to just understand what is happening to me and try to help and respond in anyway I can And to offer support.

knowy, have you experienced weight loss and loss of appetite? I have lost about 10 pounds in the last month and nothing tastes good anymore. I have always had a good appetite and eaten very large meals in the past. Up until last year I was a commercial fisherman and we had to eat large meals to keep our strength up, but now my appetite is gone.
Since you are able to see black spots inside of bumps, I would assume, like you, that you are definitely still contending with the bugs.

When I first started using the sulfur ointment I noticed lots of crusties coming out of skin. My hands would almost feel like sandpaper as I smeared the ointment on. Now I could rub the ointment only in my hands and not feel this, so I feel its safe to assume that this was the exoskeletons of whatever creature was on my body. I do not have any big sores, when this started I only had a few bumps and they are long gone from the first permethrin use.

I think these critters bring an infection with them, like ticks carrying lyme disease. So that is where I am going to focus now. Do not ever feel goofy for posting on here, that is what this forum is for, support and answers. Even having loved ones around is not the proper support for this because they cannot understand what you are going through if they are not going through it themselves. Good luck and God bless.

Hi Night

I have felt all of these electric shock feelings. I have felt a fungus, like a dollar bill being slid accross my skin. I have felt crawling so bad. Oil , coconut in the bath tub works wonders. I dip myselp in with 1 oz or two and it coats me . Coconut oil is awesome . it has anti funfsgal properties. I put 1 oz in s sprayer with 45 oz of water ans spray the room, it all stops. Try it it is 5 dollars for 31 oz. I remember the sulfur burn after using it for 1 year . What a relief to find peroxide & borax & water . It is nuetralized by the borax which is a natural nuetralizer, used as such in industry. Do you sleep in a bed ? When i pitched my bed for an air matress I can soak in arm and hammer soap in a 5 gallon bucket , everything changed for the better.
This bug is strange , but it i only a bug, kill it it will die, oil suffocates any bug, their sphericals or breather holes get plugged & they croak.
Borax soaks kill all fungus. I help it along with over the counter athletes foot medicine also. Chelz , a topix poster beat this bug with just that foot medicine total body for 8 weeks. She always thought it was a fungus spore. I will post her link to her posts when I get back to my regular machine, Epsom salts also kills fungus 1 cup per 2 cup water works well , or just 2 cup in the bath with a cup of borax . Repeated for 1 month dialing down the borax little by little till it is only epsom. Then rinseing and re-dippining in 2 tbls coconut oil floating on the waters surface. It coats , kills and sooths and smells great. Ut is way better then you can imagine.
I have blasted my home for 1 month with a tri-jet fogger with borax 1 cup ,2 cups epsom & 1 cup windex. It reduced the biting to zero.
It is a bug, extrmination is a challenge. If only to find a bait & poison it like Do with ants. 1 teasp honey & 1/8 tesp borax and all ants are gone in 3 days. I used cvs brand ant traps for the bug and it helped alot for me and another poster, 1 in each room NEXT TO THE COMPUTER

BYE ,
BILL

Thank You Bill, what section would I find the coconut oil? Is it near the cooking oil and olive oil and stuff? I had never heard of it until you brought it up. I certainly would like to try it. I have used 100% undiluted tea tree oil all over my body with absolutely zero effect on these things, and covered my body in olive oil, only to have them continue undaunted. I still add some tea tree or lavender oil to my baths and to my spray for the house, but since they crawl right through it on me, I am unsure of the effectiveness on whatever is eating me.

I am still sleeping on my bed, but I have two zippered mattress covers on it now, along with zippered pillow protectors. I did notice that my asthma got a bit better from doing this, but now that I am puffing Diatomaceous Earth everywhere, it has minimized that.

I was doing some research on this stuff last night and found a post by a woman who had Morgellons. She used nutrasilver to clear up her case. Now I am not saying that I think I have the M word, but I do see correlations. So I found a bottle of colloidal silver that I have had for awhile and am starting to ingest that also. If nothing else it should help if there is any parasite in my intestines and hopefully will help for fungus too.

Hi fellow night man .

Coconut oil it right with the other oils . Shop it somtimes they overcharge. It is a great relief. I still kill any mean ones right away with a tup in oil and or borax. The babies get wiped out easily with the cocnut oil , especially if i put it in the tub.
I spray it on my leather car seats & everywhere 20 oz water & 1 oz coconut oil in warm water above 77 degrees . I shake it up and it is plenty to stopp all them, I havent been bit in the car in 1 week. I did use alot of arm and hammer soap , 1 cup per gallon dumped right on the seat 2 times in 7 days. I know that helped alot.

Nite ,
Bill

ps coconut oil is a solid at 76 degrees & a liquid at 77 degrees. what a trip when it is in hour hair from a bath and you step out into the cold air, it ir comical. My hair is like helmet..too funny ! But as soon as I go back inside it melt back to a liquid. It washe out easy with a little shampoo and makes my hair normal and soft again after al the baking soda ,arm and hammer, peroxide/borax & arm and hammer laundry soap. 1 tub withthe coconut oil 2 oz & I was totally normal & no crawling whatsoever. If i fell a twinge i pit the water coconut mix on it and it is gone, this is good. I am now dipping all my belongings in it, 2 oz in the tub with 25 gallons of water. Oil drowns bugs.yea !
It might not kill a grandady piercer , but dawn dish sopa will , 1 cup dawn & 5 cups water in a sprayer . Stops them in 1 minute, no problem

Hi Bill,
Man the bugs are bad today. Which kind of coconut oil do you use? I found virgin coconut oil and refined coconut oil. So I bought a jar of each. I soaked in a tub with 2oz of the virgin coconut oil, very soothing. As soon as the stuff started drying a bit on my skin, the crawling started back. So I mixed one oz coconut oil in water and sprayed myself, same result. I even applied it straight(full strength) this seemed to slow them, but not stop them. I was finally able to get a few hours sleep after being up for 28 hours, so i will wear myself out again and take another dip before trying to sleep again. I just cant figure out why everything that is supposed to stop these critters dead has little effect on me. I have had eczema since I was a baby, so maybe that has something to do with it, I dunno...

I had glaucoma and cataract surgeries this year, and I am thinking that the surgeries left me immuno compromised and that is how these things were able to infest me. Conjecture of course, but who knows when it comes to parasites? I took a drive in my truck today, which I have had parked for over a week, and got eaten up bad. So I will start spraying it again tomorrow and set off yet another fogger in it. Whatever these are, they can live for over 8 days off the host, ME. I have no pets, so I really thought I would be able to control these SOBs in the environment, but maybe I have underestimated them. After having read close to half the posts here at topix in the scabies forum I thought I was educated enough to fight these things, now I am really wondering. Of course it does not help that what works for others doesnt seem to affect the critters attacking me. Ok, I am off to write articles for my websites, good luck and God Bless.

Maybe you need this as well? I didn't know this stuff was helping all the other treatments I mentioned, until I stopped taking it for a couple days, while trying something else, suddenly I got more bites, & they hurt more. Needless to say, I quickly went back on this stuff, and got relief again:

Hey Mikdee, thanks for thinking of me. I have actually been taking 3000mg/day of msm for over a week now. I am glad that getting back on it is helping you. I have changed my mind again..LOL.. and now think that I must be getting reinfested from my clothes and environment. So I am trying a new tactic, trying to separate my body from the bugs by wearing a polyester track suit. I just started tonight, but here is what I am doing. I shower using the head and shoulders with selenium, then put straight coconut oil all over my body while I am still wet, then apply a liberal amount of sulfur ointment 10% sulfur by volume, then put the track suit on. I did put clean underwear and socks on, but afterwards I plastic wrapped my socks and the bottom of the pants. Then I duct taped over the connection where pants meet socks to close off the pants from bugs. The suit is a bit thin, so I am still cold, but I have to stop the breeding cycle of these critters. I figure to wait at least 3 days before showering and exposing my skin, and then do it again for another 3 days to make sure I disrupt these SOBs. Tomorrow I am going to buy a large garbage can to soak all clothes and beddding for at least 8 hours before washing. I had been soaking the clothes in the washing machine for half hour to an hour with A&H, borax, and ammonia or vinegar. Plus adding boiling water, but evidently that was not enough, so now I will get serious on the soaking. I also figure with my body somewhat cordoned off I should have a better effect at cleaning the environment. I will report on my success in 3 days for anyone who is interested or able to do this.

Hey True, Yeah, I got insomnia, & the chills, as well, I think it's from these damn things! So I figured I'd write. I think your doing over kill using all those things at once. Okay on the sweatsuit, but I usually just use one treatment at a time. It's my theory that they live under your skin, and A&H in the bath makes your body slightly slimy, so they won't venture out. The selenium in the shampoo, or using the 10% in the shower does the same thing.

We need something to kill them in the skin, apparently being submerged in water does not kill them, and I make it as hot as I can stand it. I wonder if they even breathe air? or oxygen? to survive? Our skin must protect them from harm somehow? Ah,hah, I just thought of something, maybe they get their oxygen from our blood? Is that possible?

I know they do not like the smell of sulfur soap, or the sulfur in the shampoo, that keeps them at bay. I also think that goig thru a hot wash with detergent, & little ammonia, plus the hot setting on the dryer kills them, so I don't think clean clothes, & bedding, are the problem, but contamination of these from the environment is. Clean bedding is fine for one night for me, then how do you keep it from getting contaminated again, here's the issue, I don't wash my bedding daily, but open it, & spray it with windex lightly, then close it back up to penetrate in, just before I take my bath or shower. This has been working for me, but my clothes are all shrinking, and losing their color :(

There were times I was so tired, I didn't spray the bed, then the bites would start, so I'd jump up outta bed, grab my trusty can of Arrid Xtra Dry, and spray the bed with that awful, putrid, sickeningly sweet odor, and THAT would stop them in their tracks for the night!

We need to find out what kills them in the bath or shower, I'm thinking of trying either Borax, Epsom salts, Peroxide, or all 3 combined. I just don't know how much of each one to try individually

Using the sulfur soap, the H&S shampoo, & Dawn blue liquid at different times in the shower, I've occasionally seen little bloody spots on my legs that I know has sent a few to their death, but not enough of them. Never noticed anything like that with the A&H?

What really creeps me out, is when I put my wash in the machine from a plastic bag, and feel them jump onto my body, thru my clothes! No material stops them, I guess unless you're in a plastic, or rubber suit! No wonder they can just penetrate your skin, and live there, Eeewww!

I was thinking of getting a steam machine, or a heat gun, to go over my bedding daily, or my rugs, but I would think that it would have to penetrate deep enough, and, or you'd have to move at a faster rate then them to get them all, I don't know what kinda machine I'd need?

The worst part is, I think they are starting to become immune to some of the usual things I use.

Hey Mikdee, it sounds like you are starting to have the same problems with this thing as me. If these things are hatching on our bodies...then our clothes and bedding are going to get infested as soon as we touch it or them. That is exactly the reason I am trying the sweat suit, in an attempt to isolate my body. If they are hatching on me daily, it is gonna be hard to know if it is working since I will continue to have nymphs crawling on me, but hopefully it will diminish the bites, and with any luck the sulfur ointment will kill the nymphs before they can mate. I may be going overkill, but man, nothing is working and I have to break their life cycle, and fast. These things are driving me nuts, I still have over 30 of them crawling on me every night.

The very first time I put the permethrin cream(elimite) on me, I noticed a couple bloody spots on my legs. Made me think that for sure I had bird mites, but since they are reported not to burrow, I figured it must be scabies. Now I am not so sure. Interesting note here, I have had the suit on for about 9 hours now, anyways, I went to the bathroom and saw white strings hanging off my face. Some are specks about twice the size of this period. Others are strings that are up to one inch long, all are white or beige. Has anyone else experienced this from sulfur ointment?

As far as killing these things under the skin...I sure wish I had a personal steam room, or sauna. A hot tub would help because of the chlorinated water and it would be warm enough to stay in for a long enough time to make a dent I think.

A rug doctor couldn't hurt, but you might consider one that is dry heat, since these things like humidity. I have noticed that I have the worst days when it is sunny outside, and they relent a bit when it is raining. I don't know if they congregate by the windows when it's raining because of the humidity or what? Who knows when it comes to bugs eh?

I hope we can find something that will work on these superbugs. Take care always.

hey everyone
just wanted to post.
I found this post on the net this morning and I just wanted to share, Make up your own mind.

http://en.allexperts.com/q/Entomology-Study-B...

I dont post this to have this doctor bombarded with e-mail or calls, this is just an opinion, I BELIEVE.. And I dont think this lady Holly should have put all his info on the net.

my bugs / the same bugs most of us are feeling have been leaving me alone for a few days, cant figure out why. we have had alot of rain and I also believe that has an effect on them not comming out, ants also dont come out in the rain because they can be washed away. I do believe they will come back when the huge amounts of standing water subside.
yes Nightmares, I have been losing weight like crazy, still have chills alot but it is colder than it has been. I go through times of brain fuzz ,I cant remember or recall things as easily as before,I Think but I cant remember, hehehe, have to keep smiling . a little bugs humor helps me stay somewhat Sane.thank you for your kind words reassuring me this is just a simple post form, I appreciate that very much.
as for steamers, I have treated bed bug with Very expensive steamers and it really had no effect. using a steamer on a bed TO ME doesn't sound so good, yes it will kill on contact but it will wet things down and in my opinion they love wet fabric.
im setting up tape traps with lights over double sided tape to try to catch anything I can find, I figured they would stay away from a water dish with a light over it that some people use for flea's because they dont swim but maybe ill catch one on the outer side of tape. then again they are so small if I did catch one would I even see it, so a work in progress .
hang in there everyone,
Light and Love to all who suffer this creature.
