anyone who has an Rx for Permethrin 5% 60gm tube can purchase it at Cosco for about $16. You don't need to be a member to use the pharmacy. Most Costcos stock it, but call ahead to make sure they have some. There may be a high demand for it judging by the numbers of people who have found this forum.
The Costcos I called didn't stock Ivermectin.

Has anyone actually received Human Ivermectin from abcmedics.com ? I just ordered some and had a little financial "problem", ordering from them. It may be cleared-up or not, I'll let you know. But I am sceptical about them now. REALLY lets me DOWN. I don't know where I'll get the Ivermectin now if I can't get true Ivermectin from them. Anyone have any good experiences with the company?

I have just been notified by the company that the "financial mistake" has been taken care of. Seems like they may be for real after all.

Yes I recall receiving mine in about 2 weeks from ordering. It comes in the regular mail in a white envelope.

Here's a good website for sulphur 10% ointment. I never could find the stuff the websites talk about at any pharmacy.

BT, it's OTC, if they don't have it on the shelf you have to ask for it. Go up to the counter, ask for "sulfur" the clerk says "what?" You say Humco brand sublimed powder USP, Flowers of Sulfur. She looks it up in her book, orders it for you, you pick it up the next day.$5 for 4 oz. Makes a ton of ointment, you can mix it stronger than 10%. It mixes really well with cheap vasaline. Any pharmacy should be able to order it for you.

Ok BT this isn't directed at you really, but for the readers who want to try the sulfur route. ;)

Hey Sam,

It's cool, glad you put the easy way to get sulfur info for the folks. I just re-posted the link 2Sornot2Scratch put up. The prices from that website look steep to me anyhow...

Yes, sulfur is the safest line of treatment for pregnant women. Does your doctor know you have scabies?

yes my daughter got diagnosed with them yesterday at the dermatologist, the derm gave me permetherin to treat me and strmecterol (sp) for my kids + the permetherin igave them each 1 pill this morn on empty stomachs then tonight we are all treating with permethrin, i am clening and vacuuming like mad put all dirty clothes in bags and slowly doing laundry just got borax and meleluca enzymes to help clean clothes, as far as my prenatal doc I haven't been to one yet will go fairly soon, I am waiting on med card or may just pay for a couple visits b4 I get the med card, we are going to stay with my husband in CO for a 2-3 wks, we are in between moving from KS to CO, Hes there living in a huge RV camper and we are looking for a place to live there. Hopefully being away from the house that long after cleaning will get rid of our "microscopic enemies". My husband is treating himself before we get up there even though he has no symptoms. Just want to be rid of these before move and baby comes in Oct or Nov. thanks for replying!

Or when do u suggest I treat them and myself again? Thanks

Do you have enough Ivermecin to treat 4 times @ every 7days? what's the dose schedule the md gave you? What do your kids weigh each?

This seems like a good plan. Treat yourself tonight with permethrin 5%. Leave it on at least 14 hours, head to toe. If you wash any off, apply more.

Nothing kills the eggs and since Ivermectin does not kill immature mites with a undeveloped CNS and eggs hatch out at 3-7 maybe 10 days, using a topical on the kids at day 7 if you are giving them a second dose of Ivermectin on day 14.

This is the thing, the life cycle is 21 to 28 days. If the dose for the Ivermectin is day 1 and day 14, then use Permethrin on the kids on days 7 and 21. This will space out the dose over 21 days. Treat yourself again on day 7 with Permethrin 5%. Also use the sulfur 10% inbetween. Some posters have said it's a skin irritant so carefull. Spot treat the bumps, use permethrin and sulfur 10%. very important, especially on burrows.

Please realize I'm just thinking out loud. I'm not a medical professional could be totally wrong on this. Always seek the advise of a medical professional.

That is excellent advice, my kids are 3 & 4 we only got two 3 mg pills for each told to take a week apart, got two 60 g tubes of perm. and two refills for 2 more perm. i only found what I think might be two burrows around my toes but am not sure though because i can't really find any on me, unless they look like microscopic broken blood vessels like a pin prick I can see my daughters on her hands and I can't find any that look quite like that on me, my children weigh 30 and 43 lbs. Thanks for your help, and the sulfur I can get at walmart? Mixed with maybe petroleum or aquaphor heavy hand cream maybe, i also heard that there is a product called sulphur 8 that african americans put in their hair its like an oil and you can moisterize with it and it will help repels mites so i might try this as well. thanks again!
