My son has been using a treatment that I have just begun trying. He has and scabies for just a few weeks ( I got it from him and broke out first )-- but really bad - and he has NO new bites now. He treated twice with PERM 5% and uses TTO daily -- but here's the thing that is working best.

In order to stop having scabies - you HAVE to stop them from reproducing. If they CAN'T LAY EGGS -- they will die out - and we all know LOT'S of ways to kill the adults. But the EGGS are a problem

He started taking NEEM LEAF capsuls - he takes 3 caps twice a day ( 6 total ) He's been dong this for 2 weeks.

The NEEM LEAF ( he's using Natures way 450mg ) is inexpensive. Here's how it works:

Neem makes it impossible for the adults to conceive or lay eggs -- It DISRUPTS THEIR REPRODUCTIVE CYCLE.

It is cumulative and takes time to build up in your blood stream so you must take them every day.

DO NOT TAKE THIS IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING and DO NOT GIVE THIS TO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14.

This is a sure thing that works with NO side effects! AND it is good or your skin and your health.

It takes a couple of weeks to stop them from reproducing.

Meanwhile -- keep treating your environment and yourself topically to kill adults and stay comfortable.

I am using NEEM Shampoo, body soap, and conditioner - I just leave it in and let it dry.

I only have a few bites left and I am feeling less and less activity.

I will describe my other treatment hints in another post.

I hope this helps someone... this has been such a painful, difficult and expensive torturous lesson.

PS- I am guessing that you can extend the power and saturation of the Neem Leaf -- like one poster did with IVERMECTIN - he took it with a fatty meal and then drank lots of grapefruit juice.... that kept it active in his body longer-- I believe the same will hold true for the Neem Leaf.

I did some research online. I know that they give Neem Leaf to dogs to get rid of mites and they must stop using it for the dogs to be bred and have a litter.

It interferes with the Mites endocrine system and keeps them from procreating ( as it does with the dogs ) and that is why it cannot be used with children under the age of 14 who's reproductive systems are still developing, or with pregnant or nursing women.

My son has been using it for 2 weeks and is bite free. I have been using it for 3 days and I am bite free for the first time in 2 months.

I'd appreciate any more info any one has on this.

Neem Leaf does NOT KILL THE MITES-- so you have to keep treating topically and cleaning the environment

Hope this was helpful,

Thanks so much Mitey Warrior!

I'm going to buy some today and will let you know how it works because it has been real hard to for me to kill the eggs with sulfur.

God Bless and if this works, you are an angel!

hi rose.. why don't you try the white vinegar.. use it when your taking a bath..add 2 cups of white vinegar.. i know its sounds so crazy but its amazing.. instead of using any lotion use it as a temporary lotion too.. you will hate the smell of it but you will be surprise with the result.. do it 2-3 times a day.. just try it for a week and you will see how amazing it is...

read some facts about white vinegar...

Since I am banging about 16 different women at any given time due to a huge sex drive, I cannot get rid of scabies. They are my pets now, and I have just learned to live with them. I even have names for them as well.

I am 112 lbs and taking 3 450mg. capsules 2x/day since Thurs. It is strong and makes me feel a little out of it so it may be over the top for me. I wouldn't take any more than 3 2x or 2 3x to begin with.
Keep us posted as to your progress and how it works for you. My skin is much less itchy since beginning to take it. You can google: scabies neem leaf and find info.
Best Wishes!

Cindy, I'm almost afraid to ask, but are your sons still free of new bites? and you? I sure hope this neem leaf works! My skin looks and feels better after just two days of taking the capsules but still got a ways to go!

Thanks again,
rose

YES!
My son Ben started taking the NEEM LEAF 2 weeks before me. He is bite free-- but he lives alone and spent a week away from home (after treating the house intensely with D E)-- so he has a low chance of being re-infected-- I was bite free for 3 days and then I let my partner ( who still has no symptoms and is only treating with spray on enzymes) use my car - I covered the seat with a sheet- sprayed everything down. He used it for 2 hours.( NEVER AGAIN!!!)

The next day I took out the sheet- sprayed everything down with alcohol -- got in my car and ran errands and was Itching like crazy -- I could not wait to get home to shower- The next day I had bites on my thighs and one on my hand -- but I still feel better than I have before I started the vitamin and NEEM regiman. Once I have been using it for a few weeks, I think it will break their cycle.

Next week when the kids are out of school --we are going to turn up the thermostat to 85 and go camping for a week. We'll heat the house up-- we're hoping they will dry up and die while we are gone -- and The neem leaf will make any that are still in us - infertile. Meanwhile -- its shower and clean and treat treat treat...

Cindy, I have to say, adding the neem leaf has been the best thing I've done that seemed to put the boosters on all other treatments. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Only one red inflamed bump left this morning! All the rest are fading and disappearing.
Accompanying treatments for me include: 2x daily 20% sulfur lotion, tea tree oil on lesions, your suggestion of the triphala, extra vitamin C, plenty of minerals, and lots of cleaning, laundry and wearing gloves in the house. I'll be elated when this is over!
Thanks again. I believe the triphala and the neem leaf are good adjunct remedies for me.

I found it on line at a place called vitacost.com -- cheap --I think it was $3.50 per bottle.

I got one emergency bottle while I was waiting for delivery-- at the health food store, very expensive -- same exact stuff Natures Way 450 mg $10.00 !

when in Texas I had adopted a small puppy, and we did not know about it's mange.the kind that is under the skin, the red mites, you can not see..everywhere we laid the pup on our sking,(like legs or tummy) we broke out with this unbelievable itchy rash..the vet diagnosed the pup and told us to tell the family doc what it was and to give us a Rx for shampoo and body wash..we had to use it for 5 days from head to toe...by the end of the week, it was gone..
why hasn't the doctors helped you?

Mountain -- its not "exactly " the same mite -- from what I have read dog mites prefer dogs and don't complete their life cycle on people -- so you can get rid of dog mites more easily, or they just die off without a dog host to live on .

You might want to rethink that.. That is old thinking. I guarantee you that Dog mite can survive off of humans and complete their life cycles.

Thanks AL

Crap that is scary -- so now we have MORE possibilities for itch...

So if this is true -- why can't we all get the simple 5 day Cure that the puppies owner used...

what WAS that cure?

It's more complicated than that. There has been many people on this forum talked about how Animal mites can survive on humans. If you really think about it. Why is scabies so hard to beat? really? It should be simple right? Some old timers here used to call scabies your vanilla variety. I know most people are dealing with other mites besides scabies. You have to remember Mites can mutate over generations to survive and adapt. Classic example, how could bird mites affects people? Bird mites should only affect birds and even rodent mites affects humans. Most studies that you find are very outdated from the early 20th century and before. What ever mite anyone has needs to deal with daily treating..
