You cannot get reinfected by scabies in this way. You got reinfected from something else or by something else.

These are a nightmare! I tried the home remedies - tea tree oil, need oil and many of the others listed above. I just totalled my reciepts and I've spend $134.84 on these different products and I still itch 35 Days AFTER. I still have my backup prescription from my dr but I am not going to use it. It has the synthetic version of pyrethrins (from the marigold flower) and there are too many toxic side effects for me. Lindane also has too many bad bad stories on the web for reactions and side effects. So I am going to buy the Dexiprin http://dexoprin.com - I've noticed a lot of knockoffs of the name from other companies so I would just type dexoprin.com right in to get the company. The testimonials I read were from people who did the Dr Rx treatments and still had scabies - then tried dexoprin and they got relief in 24 hours. Good luck if you have them too, they're maddening!!!

as i am always asking old people questions about how they got rid of mites when they were little, i i always share what these elders tell me. i always ask this question, today, my uncle had brought me some furniture, he had an old friend with him,i ask the old familiar mite question, bedbugs and parasites were raging back in the day,but they always got rid of it, this old guy says he remembers playing in the chicken coop and chased them alot . he would get chicken mites. his mother would boil poke root. stem, leaves and all and pour that water in a hot hot bath and soak. i did a research paper in school on the way i sufferered for so long. believe this i got an A. SCRATCHY, I TO HAD TO THROW ALOT AWAY . SOME THINGS WERE VERY SENTIMANTAL TO ME, BUT IT WAS THE MATERIAL THINGS OR IT WAS THE NIGHTMARE, I CHOSE LIFE. ITS HARD BUT ITS ALSO PART OF IT.

Jake: I have used dexoprin for a good 3 months and had to stop because my skin was burning like sunburn. It does extract the adults from you leaving breakouts and you smell like gasoline (the tea tree oil). So I stopped and had to find another treatment, then I started the Kleene bath (Natural Ginesis) with enzymes and that had taken care of it until all adults disappeared and my skin almost closed everywhere.
From my experience, use kleene (if you decide) to get rids of adults and others (I dont know how long you had them) the longer you had them, of course the longer it wil take to get them out (big family)!!!

You also need strong antibacterial remedies as scabies leave terrible disease after that (skin infection). I used to massage with triple antibiotics (unless you doctor can prescribe others). Then, I used the essential oils with sulfur and now I have no breakouts. skin is clear but I still have to get rid of the rest of the debris (skeletal, feces, etc). You have to see what comes out of your skin!!!! I got the type 3scabies.

You have to be patient. It is a time-enduring care. it's a spa daily. But it gives good results. I am almost over it. Post-scabies, read on the forum, lots treat with armand hammer, borox/peroxide , etc.

Jake: try borox/hydrogen peroxyde bath (you will find it on the forum from Bill) try it for a week.

I did not try dermisil (it sounds good from what we read). Let me know how it works with dermisil but it is quite expensie.

good luck

Jake: 6months islong enough. these bugs colonize fast. So, please start the baths. I use to do baths in very hot water and I stay in the water for one good hour, as 20 mins was not doing anything.
Permethrin is very toxic. some will say take ivermectin but I am afraid to swallow those things.
Oh! never use Lyndane again; very dangerous (chemical). Dermatologists prescribed them to me and I never used it cause I know it's highly toxic.
After your baths, then use sulfur mixture to massage skin from head to toe!! It's quite effective. If you do not have a good mixture, I will write to you later.
Take care.

All of those websites out there that claim to cure scabies, are all SCAMS.

Dexoprin
Clean Bath
Natural Genesis
Cedarcide

They are all geared toward people who are suffering with scabies and who do not know how to treat themselves. They look on the net, and low and behold, a WEBSITE, full of wonderful pictures, music, plenty of stuff made from natural and no so natural ingredients.

And they charge plenty for their products.

These mites are becoming resistant to the standard medical treatment of permethrin. Lindane, if used according to the doctors instructions, is safe. If used too often, it can be fatal.

If the permethrin doesn’t work, then the next treatment is stromectol/ivermectin. There have been many, many people on this forum who were cured by ivermectin. It is safe. It is used by millions in other countries to treat river blindness and scabies and other parasitic organisms. Keep after your environment, clothes, etc. Do not be afraid of stromectol. If used according to the doctor’s instructions it is safe, and it works.

Please do not spend hundreds of dollars on these websites that advertise these products. There are plenty of products you can buy that are inexpensive.

thank you all for the great advice but Joe have you heard or read anything specific to dermisil? It looks very promising and I'm not afraid to spend the money if it gets rid of these damned creatures! What the heck was God's thinking when he created the mite?!

Joe is right most are scams, and some of the posters here are marketing those scam companies so be careful.

i just ran across this on Amazon as well which made me look into dexoprin. Luckily i found this thread so i won't be purchasing it. I found it odd that it didn't give much information on the product.

http://www.amazon.com/ScabiesKiller-compare-D...

a while back i purchased some klean free spray which did not work for me. Currently i am using the borox, peroxide, cup of arm and hammer baths and they have been okay but not a cure all. what helps a LOT is when i first put all of that into the bath and i mix it with my hand when it all dissolves i fill up my spray bottle when its the most concentrated(before most of the bath fills up), and use that as a spot treatment at home. it has helps a lot.

Unfortunately i am still looking for a cure all. I would never have believed something was so difficult to get rid of in this day and age, that is so easily to get. the scam companies should be ashamed of themselves because there are many of them. almost everything marketed as a scabies cure seems like a scam to me especially when home remedies seem to be the most effective and consist of many of the things those products use.

Since scabies has been around forever how did they do it before pharmaceuticals? I've heard sulphur, so where did they get it. How did they use it.

You may need to include the second world war to get grip on this type matter.
http://riboworld.com/antib/tia/50santib-tia.p...

While the microbiology of secondary bacterial infection in scabies lesions probably changes based on geographic location, one study demonstrated that the predominant aerobic and facultative bacteria recovered from lesions were Staphylococcus aureus, group A streptococci, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Multiple anaerobes were recovered as well, suggesting polymicrobial colonization of lesions.

This is the second post I read from you, "whatever." Do you have scabies? Exactly what do you need help with? Do a search on this forum for sulfur or sulphur, maybe some information will come up for you.

There are many treatments out there. There are many different type of mites and every person is different, in that their immunity and age place a huge part in this.

If you are going to be cocky, then who will answer your posts?

Keep reading. There are natural ways to kill this bug.

Here is a link to all the threads on this forum concerning sulfur.

Actually - I am not involved in the slightest with this. Since when did telling you how to get it make it spam??? Joe, I think you may need paranox to cure yoIt\\\ur paranoia lol just kidding. Believe whatever you want. I just asked my wife and we bought that stuff on amazon.com . Now don't accuse me of selling amazon.com Joe!
Let me tell you how dexoprin has worked on me. It is drastically oily and smelly; after a mere 2 months aplication, my skin was on fire. It was burning to the point that I thought I had no skin left on me and that I had 3rd degree sunburn. No joke, that thing broils your skin. I had to switch to kleene greene ensyme solution. and on top of it, that dexoprin solution is so expensive. It is good to try for a short period of time only. It did not cure me at all; it made it worse; I could not sleep at night at all. It does not bring any relief at all, kleene baths did; so Joe is right; let the one who has used it talk. I find one has to follow the stage that bug is on you and then use different things. Definitely, Dexoprin should be used only for a month as it eats up the skin like gasoline on you. so this is it.
