Do you tell Dr about black specks

I have not seen a dermatologist and wondered if I should take the hair I cut and also some of the black specks that come out of hair?
What have most of you all done?
Does this help with a DX of the type of mite treatment?
I don't feel like I fit into the normal.
This is because I don't have that much itching. But I am so scared.
I am almost ready to leave and live in my truck.
These black things were all over the bed the other morning after using Lindane.
If I can get the courage to see a dermatologts I don't want a delusional dx. I thought any proof might help.

Sandy. they always mention on this forum and on the other yahoo groups, that if you bring a little baggie sample to the docs with you, they will think you are delusional.

this is why Vizio took her very visible sample to the state entomologist and he examined it for her and right away told her it was lice. she was fighting this for months and didn't know. but, most of the treatments she did would be the same for lice as it is for mites.

it appears you have bird mites, but who knows... you really need to find an entomologist and get your sample examined. find a good one. offer to pay them. do whatever you have to do to get this identified.

i remember a lady on the birdmitesorg yahoo group who had a really good exterminator come into her home and blasted away with like 5 different chemicals and this really helped them. I am not sure what she did for herself, but that exterminator really helped her out. I use the Cyonara and the Nylar combination that Ibought from . this is some powerful stuff and it works. the nylar is an insect growth regulator and it prevents the mites from multiplying. at first, i heard that insect growth regulators didn't work on mites, as they are not insects, but then someone said it does work, so i use it and Cyonara and they work great. I know it is poison, but at this point you need something to knock these suckers down; otherwise, you are going to have a nervous breakdown at one point.

please join the yahoo group called birdmitesorg and do some reading there in the archives. Alot of ladies that I have spoken to were, at first, apprehensive about joinging this group, but once they joined and started reading, they never come back here, well, hardly ever.

you can call the guys at doyourownpestcontrol and talk to them. if they don't carry nylar anymore, ask for another insect growth regulator, but the Cyonara works really well, especially for your type of mite.

you may consider moving, too. or pulling up ALL CARPETING IN YOUR HOME. is your husband helping you with this?

Certainly tell him about the black specs. tell him everything. I would try to find a female derm, as they seem more sympathetic. I actually told the receptionist at the derm, that I wanted a derm who would spend some time with me and listen to my problem, and not a doctor who is going too stand 5 feet away from me and not touch me. she put me with a good female derm, who actually spent some time with me, and explained a few things to me about scabies, because at that point, i wasn't sure it was scabies or bird mites, or what.
