well im nervous and confused because i found out i had scabies, but unfortunately i work 7 days a week 2 full time jobs so to actually plan this out for treatment is very hard and im 7 months pregnant so theres not alot of medicines i can take viral. So i was only itchy for 3 days only!!! and i did the first treatment and i think i rushed it so i repeated it in four days alot less itching and i think ive spent atleast 125 dollars on otc products, when i did it the second time i did it in my hair and just yesterday i repeated the prem treatment for the third time 6days later which there is some itching but im noticing some raised areas of my skin and am i crazy to try to but it with a needle. am i irritating the area or is it new burrows. im so aggravated and about to give up. theres less itching but new raised skin areas, what to do someone help. i feel like a disease and desperate.

Random question for you guys and gals out there.
I noticed now, when I pee, there are extremely tiny little groups of I guess you can say white dots?
I was wondering if I should be concerned or not.

I over-treated myself with too much Permethrin and it made it harder to kill all the the other stuff (see below).
Just a little FYI for those out there without a doctor and are SELF TREATING scabies (or what you think is Scabies).
Last year I had scabies, confirmed by a clinic, and because I have a weakened immune system due to Thyroid Disease, I catch it often. What I didn't expect that made a HUGE impact on treating this was knowing about SECONDARY INFECTIONS: with scabies comes scratching and with raw exposed skin, comes all sorts of nasty infections THAT MIMIC the itch feeling of LIVE SCABIES (even if they are now all dead).
After my second visit to the clinic when I was SURE there still were bugs in me because I had a terrible itching problem, we discovered that while the mites were dead, I had STAPH INFECTIONS in different ways and FUNGAL infections too. Cellulitis, Folliculitis, Yeast, and bacteria were found in the area where we killed the mites as well as the leftover dead bugs with bug poop. That is a recipe for discomfort! I had to STOP over-treating with pesticides and start treating with anti-fungal and antibacterial medications. I would have never thought that the bugs were gone and kept on treating them which was making my skin weaker to fend off the Staph and Fungal infections that looked like more Scabies. BEWARE of self treating as you just don't know what can grow on you!
Now here am again a year later after staying in a cheap motel and contracting Scabies again, with Yeast fungus and all the other cooties. Mostly located under my breasts and in my butt crack. I am on my 1st Permethrin round, with anti fungal powder accompanying it. Keep your skin DRY as best as possible to combat the fungal cooties! And use Anti Bacterial cream (Neosporian) in the days after a Permethrin round to HEAL YOUR SKIN. DON'T think you can solve this alone: get to a clinic and don't be stupid!!!

The 5% Permethrin creme is very weak and will not cause any injury. It won't cure you either.

Shondatime,

What are you talking about?

If Elimite Permethrin Cream didn't work, the doctors would NOT prescribe it.

Elimite Permethrin Cream and Stromectol Ivermectin tablets is what cures scabies.

What is your intention on this forum?

That is not a very logical response. The fact is that most doctors ARE NOT trained in parasitology and have no idea how to identify one microscopic parasite over another much less treat them. They have no personal experience with suffering from a skin parasite. Many will look at you and say "I don't see anything so why are you here?!" I suffered for three years and only met two doctors out of about 40 who had a clue. The 5% Perm Creme is weak. Oral ivermectin is weak. The Vets give stronger treatments to dogs, pigs and horses than humans. Your Elimite conclusion, with all due respect, is naive.

You should ignore any posts originating from hollywood fla. She has been a trouble making troll on this forum for years. Don't feed the animals.

On this thread she posted under 5 different names. She also posts under different names and locations using i-phone. She will lie and provoke people to no end because it satisfies her psychosis.

You are a huge liar. You NEVER went to 40 doctors. They know more than you give them credit. With all due respect, you and fred are the trolls here. Albendazole doesn't work for scabies.
I don't intend to argue with you much longer. I have already told you that Albendazole is not the key for scabies, and the other med is for tape worm, not ectoparasites. that's enough, troll....
you guys work for an online sulphur cream and soap company. You are just one in many here who are effing with this forum. you and fred both.

i-phone?? where did you get that one? pull that out of your arse?
I am only here to warn newbies about you, fred. You are very relentless to lead people away from true scabies cures, so they will buy your products WHICH DO NOT WORK. You add things that you are studying here and there, but mainly, you antagonize posters until they stop posting. There have been many.
For months, you lead people down a path of homeopahy, which doesn't work. Then you continue to lead people down a path of herbal tinctures which do not work, either. I wouldn't trust anything you say EVER.

Shondatime exhibits an acute appreciation of contextual reality. In other words she catches on pretty quick and has an ability to put information into a meaningful context.

In comparison, the poster from hollywood, fla. has consistently demonstrated a tendency toward bipolar psychosis. This has been going on here now for at least two years with "vss" "virtual scabies" etc. x1000.

Unfortunately all my attempts to use a variety of strategies to let "vss" understand that she is suffering from a systemic infection that well overlaps into the brain and central nervous system have been in vane. The information that "VSS" presents is redundant, reductionist and irrelevant. One of my goals here is to guide people away from her abject influence.

I caught my scabies from my nursing care home, which I have since left. I must have been carrying this scabies for at least 6 weeks, cus I past it onto my girlfriend in the USA. We both started to scratch the same time and now we both got the Permethrin cream 5%, I used it for 2 days, waited five days, washed bedding etc., ea. day and feel like I am freer from the mites. I wud suggest 2 applications x Permethrin x one day, wait 5days and go again. This cream can give a rash as very strong. Hope this helps.

You can use permethrin cream once a week safely.
I do not know if it is safe to use it more often; I have read of serious (crusted) scabies cases where it was prescribed every 3 or 4 days over a couple of weeks.
Over time, mites can develop resistence to permethrin. So, I wouldn't want to use it more often than needed. It can gradually become less effective.
Be sure when you use permethrin cream that you apply from the top of the head to the soles of the feet, including face, outside of ears, etec.
You have to wash your laundry in very hot water, dry on hotest setting of dryer. Change sheets daily.
Read some more on this board, especially about ridding your environment, clothing, car, etc. of the mites.
tHE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS BUY 5 TO 10 LBS OF PURE YELLOW SULPHUR ADD 1/2 CUP TO BATH WATHER AND EBSON SALT mAKE SURE YOU ARE USING SEA SALT ANY KIND WILL DO ADD 1/2 CUP SOACK 30 TO 45 MIN A DAY DO THIS AT LEAST EVER NIGHT THE FIRST WEEK AND THAN EVERY OTHER NIGHT.
