where the itching is.This 'seems' to have worked for me!

I tried everything from Permethrin, Ivermectin, Turpentine, Clove Oil, Tee Tree oil, Advantage II.
The one that worked well on the body is ivermectin tabs (twice the recomended does) and permethrin cream once a week for 3 weeks.
But for scalp nothing helped. So I am going to try pour on Ivermetin. I order it a few days ago.
All the ones I have used seems to subside the infestation bud does not get rid of it completely.
I had scabies since 5 months.

I took TRIPHALA and it didn't work for me. After a perm treatment, I took it for about 2 months and thought I was scabies free. Then I got reinfected. The rash appeared deeper too and was much worse than the previous outbreak.

Day 4 of treating is done. No bumps on my head anymore. No nodules on my man parts anymore lol. Now I will wait 3 or 4 days and repeat. Hopefully I got all adults, larvae , and nymphs.

I tried some pour on Ivermectin on my leg in the morning to spot test. No issues.
Tried some time ago close to 2ml of it on my scalp full strength. It did sting a bit initially and after that I am fine. Will keep you guys posted.
I have been using full strength clove oil to spot treat and that has been working. It burns for a few mins but Clove is a natural anesthetic so it feels fine after that.

Be careful, when you use straight clove oil. It takes a couple of days for the blisters to appear.

The stuff is in an alcohol base that feels really good. I put it on 3-4 times a day and didn't shower. It still takes a few days to see the effect.
It does not kill the eggs, so follow-up treatments within a week are necessary.
HappySoul: Thanks for the info. It is possible you had good results with the clove oil if you only had the scabies for a short time, unlike some of us.
I am confused, earlier you said you applied it once a day, thickly, for 3 days and now you say you applied it 3-4 times a day. Which is it?

I thought I was on the road to beating this nightmare, and I know that I have come a long way with it from where I was a year ago....but still fighting this war! I think there are a lot of variables and everyone is different. Whether we like it or not it takes time lots of time, lots of work and persistence. I found that taking tea tree oil baths I put about 10 drops in the bath, does help, and it also really helps heal any sores that appear because of the scabies. I dont think there is any instant cure, it just takes time. I suspect I will keep treating this crap for the rest of my life even if I am `cured`` paranoid now!

When you do the bleach bath, how long do you stay in there?

Pour on does not seem to help and the fumes from it is very strong. It made me have shortness of breath.
I did dye my hair and the dye helps to kill some scabies on the Scalp.
I am going to try 10% sulphur cream from Wallgreens.

I try and follow this treatment protocol at: www.scabiescurez.com but I also know of a good protocol in the forum but just cant find it yet.- thank you guys for all your additional help. P.S. I suffered for 9 years!
