After trying all the home remedies and busting my ass with all the cloth and beding washing I went to the Doctor she gave me 5% Permethrin cream along with Stromectol pills ( same as horse paste Ivermectin ) I took a dose of horse paste with the Stromectol pill just to add strength after two of these treatments my Scabies war is down to small battles. I called the Doctor a third time and she gave me LINDANE!
Read online about this stuff it's strong and it even kills Scabies EGGs. I hope this is it. Took more horse paste a 750 dose.( I really want this to be it ) I am wearing coveralls bought just for this I have garbage bags taped over each foot and leg. I have on rubber dish washing gloves. Pretty much the whole haz mat suit. By Monday I hope to be cured.
Ok i looked up Lindane...and the 1st picture of the scabie was just what I had picked off me a couple times and saw under a magnifier! I will be asking for that....thanks!

That's (Lindare) the most powerful treatment there is on the planet against scabies. make sure to use horse paste with it or you won't get them all. And I do mean a strong dose!! Hit them hard don't let them build up immunity!!

You put the perm on you skin every where under your toe nails behind your ears the bottom of you feet every where and eat the horse paste at 3 times your weight. Say you weigh 120 lbs the set the horse syringe at about 400 lbs. eat it at least every four days.

Yes they are the same. Look up Stromectol it is 1% ivermectin, horse paste is 1.87% ivermectin ( the active ingredient ).

No you don't put it on your skin, you stick it up your hiney hole.
and dab some under your arm pits...
put some in some chocolate brownie mix and bake it and then eat it, too. per Chicago, you can basically do whatever you want with it.
Put some inside the kids' sandwiches for lunch. buy the apple flavored kind.

I guess there are jerks like Hollywood everywhere you go. Not much worth doing about him just skip his running off at the mouth and go straight to the next post.

I think the recent lindane craze on here should be put in perspective.

"Lindane is a hormone disruptor and is toxic to the nervous system. The EPA also has evidence suggesting that it is carcinogenic. Furthermore, lindane has a number of side effects, most commonly skin irritation, numbness, dizziness, headaches, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. More severe side effects, such as seizures and death, also have been reported."

Yup it's band in 53 country's but I used it and I believe it helped greatly. In the last 11 days I have had 1 bite that bite I bleached and put perm on to make sue it was dead.

I know but I could not take it anymore. Had to use something to get a handle on them. So when I washed off the Lindane I gave my self a Nair bath. Cover myself with Nair and boy did I find a hive. Been pretty Clean sense. One bit in 11 days. I do the plastic thing over everything too.

So, now Missy Denver "augustmidwest" is supoosedly the know-it-all on this forum and is saying that it is the "consensus" of this forum that Lindane should not be used as a treatment for scabies. Bullsh....
If used properly, Lindane works against scabies, just not "her" kind. Who is she to say that this or that is the consensus of this forum????
Get a grip, Missy Denver. You aren't the know-it-all. It's just that people reading this forum have stopped responding to you, because you have degraded and insulted everyone on here and no one wants to have their head chewed off every time they post.

Um, yeah, "Famous" ... on Monday, May 9th you said this re Lindane:

"I'm trying to make you CHILDREN understand that these meds are DANGEROUS and some of your posts are IRRESPONSIBLE for those who are seeking help. You will not get a flowery response from me. The cures are here on this forum and all the other forums out there on the net. I'm just watching you kiddies.
Again, I could care less what you think... "ppl like u." "

And now you're saying it's safe?

Yeah, something's not jiving. Hasn't been in a couple of weeks.

Whatever. I just hope the newbies coming here look back at the posts from 2010 and 2011 to get some decent guidance. The forum these days kinda sucks! Thanks a lot....

I was referring to someone on here taking a half of tube of iver horse paste every day. that post had nothing to do with Lindane. If Lindane were as dangerous as everyone says, it would not be prescribed.

You're right I should not suggest to others to take that strong of dose
As we see everywhere on these threads what works for someone might not work for others. People need to go to the doctor first of all. And read all labels.
I took a risk to get Scabie free. I just feel the pain of those that can't kick this disease. I believe that Scabies is very hard to kick and when you start to attack them you need a very big hammer. A small hammer is just going to prepare them for the next attemp. Don't give them a second chance.

Lindane is very toxic and has been taken off the market in many countries. Saying that, one clinical write up used Lindane (1% gamma-BHC) on a scabies patient's toenails (wrapped) went ivermectin and a topical succeed except there. This cleared the patient. Doctors should be reading this very informative (yet scary) site:
