<quoted text> I have both. With autoimmune diseases they mimic each other and most of the time, you end up having more than one
I have RA and fibromyalgia. It all started with AS in my hip which now needs to be replaced, it wasnt that long before my other joints became affected. I walk in the water or swim 4-5 times a week and find this keeps me very mobile. It is a pain to do sometimes but the benefit I get is well worth it. Good luck kee positive

Thanks for this information! I am a missionary living in Mozambique Africa and after a year of pain my doctor in south africa says its RA I have had malaria about 15 times and just cant do the drugs they want me too. I have changed my diet, on a program called sevenpointfive ( sevenpointfive.com ) I am still in a lot of pain but the one thing i have not done is gluten free everything. A bit hard in Africa.... so wheat flour and other items should be stopped. Do you have any information or sites on Gluten free recipes that you use.

Thanks again!
Hi I lived 43 years in South Africa. Now Netherlands. Try Nordman Artemesia Anti Malerial. I used it to treat my ricketsia and it has zero side effects. Sorgum meal (Maltabela Porridge) is gluten free. Spar and P&P sells a gluten free bread mix as well as muffin mix which is quite tasty as well. Try google recipies for maize bread.

May I ask all of you something rather personal? Have you ever had a root canal done? And if yes, how many before the onset of RA?

I have beautiful teeth, but only on the outside. A few of them look white, but are dead. I can still vividly remember the onset of RA after a root canal procedure.
I did some research into this subject and found out this:

I thought it could hep some of us. But before you run to have all teeth pulled, could you please share your dental history with the rest of us?
Jane this is so long ago but if you see this, pls respond. Did you ever try resolving bf the RA with fixing ur dental issues? I'm about to make the choice of pulling my tooth with the hope that what appears to be RA will go away. Thx
