Inflammation of eye socket

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has suffered with reoccurring eye socket inflammation after the removal of their eye due to Rb . My daughter, 13, had her eye removed at the age of 5 and since then she gets a lot of inflammation and she is unable to wear her eye as it just wont fit and is very painful, recently the inflammation is occurring very often which is interfering with school attendance as she will NOT go into school without her eye. In the last year she has probably suffered at least 6 attacks which last about 3 weeks. In November she suffered and then the beginning of January I ended up taking her to A and E it was that bad. Antibiotics, several specialists and a lot of worry im at the end of my tether!!! We have an appointment for an orbital MRI scan next week to see if anything shows up on that but in the meantime I was just wondering if there was anyone else out there that could shine some light on the situation, PLEASE.

We have a daughter who is 2,5 years old. She had her eye removed also due to Rb when she was 1 year old.
Recently she has had one long attack lasting for 10 weeks. The result was that we had hear artificial eyeball replaced with a smaller one. However, the inflammation has returned. And we are very worried about this as well.
How did the MRI scan go?
