Has anyone had or heard of this surgery?

Hi! I had retinoblastoma when I was a kid. I am now 28 and have noticed a lot of discharge, some tearing, less motion, and a bit of eye-lid sagging. I have been seeing a surgeon at Duke and he recommended three options: a fat graft from my thigh to go in my lower eyelid to increase volume, to take out my smaller current orbital implant and replace it with a larger one, or to have a secondary implant put in (a triangular implant where they would cut to the bone below my eye and it would sit under my prosthesis.) Both the surgeon and I think that the secondary implant sounds like the best bet. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar surgery or knows anything about it. I had never heard of this sort of issue but apparently it is relatively common for there to be a loss of volume in the socket after many years without a real eye. Unfortunately, with this effecting such a small part of the population I have had trouble finding much at all about the surgery, other than what the surgeon has told me. Anyone? Heard anything? Thanks!
