I took my 3-yr old to the doctor today for her regular check-up. During the vision part, the doctor said she was having trouble seeing the red eye reflex, but then saw it. She then turned off the lights and saw it again. Once I got home I did the terrible thing of googling what this might mean. I searched through all of last year's pictures of my daughter and found one questionable picture (all others either have red eye or have a symmetrical reflection). In the one questionable picture, left eye is a little cloudy with a speck of red and her right eye has the red eye reflex. I have to zoom in on her eyes to see this difference, it's otherwise not noticeable. Of course I'm freaking out. Do I go back to the pediatrician, or call her and get an eye dr referral?
