I had a 12 point prostate biopsy and all 12 were benign tissue but 5 had focal atrophy with acute or chronic inflammation. What causes that? And what can I do to get rid of it and get my PSA back down? Both doctors I asked seemed vague or unsure. Has anyone with this biopsy result researched this and gotten an answer?
