I should also have commented that I have tried all of the prescription and non-prescription medications over the past 10-12 years and tried to fool myself that they were helping, but were not. Avodart and others did not help and have side effects. Saw palmetto and nettles did noting for me. I had also taken beta-prostate and think it is just a scam. The green light seems the safest surgery and supposedly has the same relief as the TURP lasting 5-10 years.
This is good to hear that someone had decent results with Laser. I have a couple of older friends who recently had complete blockage. They both did the TURP, and both seem satisfied. For me, I am gonna opt for the Laser....

What's the latest from you? Your last post which I don't see here promised to update us as to what happened once you were off the prostate drugs for a while.. vis-a-vis the GG procedure. Please share all the details...
Thank you.
Fiona.... Sorry it's taken so long to reply. I'm almost a year on from the G/G procedure. The Gat Goren procedure has been worth every penny. I'm in contact with others who have gone through the procedure and they all report positively. It has made such a difference. Ok, I'm not like when I was sixteen, but, the flow is constant, night time visits are regularly not needed and I'm still improving. Daily visits are normal, whereas before, i needed to go every half hour, Talking health forums, gives a full insite from others. I beleive the procedure is now being done by a Portugese doctor who charges a third of the price that G/G charge. hope that helps!!!!

Regular check ups above 40s can give a hand to identify the problems in time and take the right treatment. Herbal use and lifestyle and dietary changes are also of great help.

I have also tried Super Beta Prostate. I am not entirely sure if this products works. I am not sure about surgery I am looking for more natural methods to help. I have even started taking Ageless Male and I am really happy with my progress. I found this by reading reviews on
It helps with my low testosterone levels and makes me feel more energetic!

I'm a year on andthe improvement has been worth every cent. Whereas I'm not like a sixteen year old, I've had dramatic improvements and can live like this the rest of my life with no real issues. My flow is constant, nightime visits reduced significantly and sometime not at all, frequency now normal.

Several other people who have undertaken the procedure are also reporting improvements - go on to the healing well forum - search Gat Goren and you'll come through to the threads which have culminated in some pretty educated replies and information.

Hope that helps. If you need to email me directly, then feel free to do so.

Saw palmetto is essential for BPH. There are some great beta sitosterol supplements available over the counter. Here's a little more on this

I have ordered prescription drugs (without a prescription) online from about two years ago, and was pleased with the speed and quality of service.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my medication. The meds is expensive, but there is a generic version available overseas.
I love the idea of taking responsibility for my own health (or lack of health) and skipping the bureaucracy... to say nothing of having to drive to the doctor, wait in line, yet again, to get a prescription refilled. very clear and informative site, simple ordering process and very fast delivery. All round excellent service - will use again.

I had BPH for years. Tried many different supplements, with limited effect. Flomax helped for a couple of years. But my urine retention was getting worse.
Anyway, I had TURP on March 21. My doc did a great job. One month later and I am feeling almost back to normal, and I can finally take a good pee! My urologist says this should last 30 to 40 years.

I have used for about 3 years and find their products to be reliable and speedily delivered. The Support team are very promt and helpful in solving any issues that arise, caused by my errors not the company's. I was a little sceptical initially about buying generic products rather than brand names. However, the Mens' Health products I have bought have been equally as efficatious as the brand names at a fraction of the cost.

Andy, I would like to go to Israel for the Gat Goren treatment for my prostate. Could you please update whether your symptoms got better since 2012? Thank and God bless you.

I went to Israel for the procedure. If you contact the GAT GOREN CLINIC and ask, they will advise of nearest hotels, transfers etc. They have a very helpful admin team who will make it easy for you. I stayed at the Leonardo City Tower - a five minute walk from their offices and a half hour drive to the hospital where they carried out the procedure. I stayed in a club room. It was finctional and there was a lot of traffic noise but they food was first class.

A few week into my "recovery" there is a very noticeable improvement for me, I get up mostly less and sometimes never at night, the urgency is less, the strwam stronger and less need to cdouble void. Gat And Goren have told me that full effect takes six months to a year. So there is still some way to go. BUT I could live the rest of my life as I am at the moment without too much bother - thanks to GAT and GOREN.....

I have BPH and was geting up three or four times at night.
Accidently I bought alcoholic eggnog liquor: 15 %.
To get rid of it, I've been sipping a large jigger each evening before bed.
Now I get up once or twice with full bladder (I stay well hydrated.)
Are there any reports of such a benefit of alcohol?
