Post DaVinci surgery results

Surgery on March 3, 08. Regained near complete continence in 6 weeks. Loss of erectal function and loss of voluntary rectal push remain. Surgeon claims to have spared nerves. Viagra no help. What next?

These results have more in common with more conventional surgical practices, than one where a revolutionary new medical device was used to supposedly avoid these complications. If this were the case it's almost no different than if you had chosen to have the surgery without the help of the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical system. For the most part, these complications are at least not as severe as some of the stories from patient account of the surgical device. Stories that include, lacerations to internal organs, internal burns, excessive bleeding, loss of function, and in some cases, even death. Read more about it at this site
