Do you have any reliable information that Buteyko breathing exercises might be useful for prostate cancer treatment? I know that some doubtful claims are exist on sites. Do you know real people who have positive experience?

Unfortunately Bob, Buteyko breathing exercises are NOT appropriate for people diagnosed with cancer. I had one person that I helped who was dying. His problem was that he would cough and then vomit. I got him to keep his mouth closed and to breathe through his nose and he stopped coughing and vomiting. I did this so that he would have a better quality of life. He had an inoperable brain tumor that had cysts around it. When more oxygen is available it causes the cysts to grow thus causing the cysts to push down on the tumor causing more problems.

Thank you for your reply. I try to use this method and hope that the substantial increase in PH due to CO2 accumulation might be destroy cancer cells that already have acidic environment especially in the prostate tissue. If someone has any ideas, please share with me.

I am sorry for my mistake. PH should decrease during CO2 accumulation.
